To learn to beatmatch been playing for years but a good refresh or to learn from a different perspective.. who knows I might even learn something new. There is no right or wrong way just get creative and don't break the only rule in djing. And that is to train wreck lol I've been playing for about 10 years and still proudly learning!
Beatmatching is just 1 way to mix to records. Scratching, dropping, fading, powerouting og even backspining are others. Be creative and remember there are no rules :) As long as it sounds dope, and keeps the flow or groove going its fine. For example; If you got a short or even abrubt finish to a track, try to mix a horn or a sample of your cue into the live track and people will hear that familiar sound, when the live tracks stops, the horn kicks in again and people wont know what happend.
question... and im being totally serious.... so besides doing a drop on the 1 scratch its pretty impossible to do a clean transition from a say 90bpm song to a 120 bpm song... correct?

excellent, much better than the last few i've watched.
You have to increase the Tempo or decrease the Tempo to allow them to match.
