And can lead to great muscle development, provided you do advance Bodyweight training. The only difference would be muscle mass aesthetic being smaller but not the mass shape or strength which would be much higher and better.

Conventional bodyweight excersises can be toned by adding weights to it.
Ultimately calisthenics is superior compared to non calisthenics.
