2014 Saturday SCCA Majors GTL Race at Thunderhill

Crazy Saturday GTL Race at 2014 SCCA Majors at Thunderhill for Jim Hargrove and the RaceEnergy 1976 Honda Civic. Started on Pole, lost the lead in traffic and finished 2nd under full course yellow.

To some exent, though I think your opponent did better with the traffic by being a bit more patient. I noticed that you started working the traffic better after he got a ways a head. But when you guys tried to battle each other while also battling traffic, you ended up dropping way back...

Nicely done! How frustrating to pass everyone, catching up to the "leader" and then running out of time. Your restraint was good and you lived another day. Nicely done indeed.

Great stuff! Its always a good race when you are down on top end speed but quick in corners.
