Just wanted to see how different the course was back then compared to this year's U.S. Open! I know the 11th was a different hole that they only used for the 1913 U.S. Open and this year's U.S. Open I think that is right
I don't think the TV crew knew their mics were hot the last several holes, and after Strange and Faldo teed off on #17, Jack used the word "fabulous" twice in talking about how Faldo had played that day, clearing acknowledging golf's next great player.
No - let me explain. You'll notice how from 1:01:06, it switches to "clean feed" and we stop getting graphics. From that point we're watching the raw footage and commentary, which includes the commentators off-air discussions (ie. while advert breaks were occurring). That's why some of the talk sounds more casual, because the commentators knew they weren't on air at those points.
Thanks for the posting!
The private conversation with TERRY was very interesting 2:48:28

I was pulling for Faldo!
Faldo proved a big occasion player

I was wrong - Jack described Faldo's play as "fabulous" three times - understandably impressed is an understatement.
