If there is a pole like item available to as a base for anchor point, why not just attach a heavy duty carabiner or shackle to the pole to create an anchor point?
It has to be rated for fall protection. A fall creates a lot of force. Needs to be able to withstand 5000 lbs of force or be certified by an engineer. Thanks for watching!
Does it have to be wrapped around twice a safety guy was telling me mine wouldn’t work like that because I didn’t go through it twice which meant it was to short so I had to get a longer one. If you could confirm this with possible codes or links to legit Ochoa ANSI or other complaint proof I would love to prove that you only have to wrap it once. Thanks good video
Always refer to MFG instructions but lss... No need to wrap it more than once. Usually only reason to wrap more than one is to shorten the exposed "hanging deep ring" strap. More importantly is little dee ring through big dee ring. Then make sure it is more of a y on bottom or load side.

The "blue protector" that you identify as the abrasion protection IS THE BEAM STRAP FALL PROTECTION............ WHY WOULD THE MANUFACTURE ATTACHE THE RINGS TO THE ABRASION PROTECTION STRAP???? WHILE YOU INSTALLATION OF THE STRAP IS CORRECT YOUR DESCRIPTION IS WRONG........ MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU TELL THE WORLD......... IT MIGHT JUST SAVE SOMEONES LIFE.
