They've definitely started coming in. Martha's Landing was stacked with boats the last few days. I wouldn't doubt the IRI is producing keepers. They just need to bite MY hook! 🤣
Great video. My cousins and I always used to fish the evenings and usually did the best then, but that was freshwater fishing. I'm not sure if saltwater fishing is the same. Glad to watch you guys having a great evening.👍👍
Thank you! Night fishing is good and can produce but a lot of it has to do with water quality. We haven't had any rain in a month so the water quality has been good.
Hey bud, when releasing fish with a lip gripper, always put the lanyard around your wrist. It's not the reason one might think. I'll tell you why, it's for the life of the fish and not the loss of the gripper. If you drop that lanyard while the fish is attached, it will surely die. Just a bit of education. I've learned that recently. Keep those fishing videos coming!
Fished the Pocomoke in a canoe had a large shadow chase a white twistertail jigehead and spat it out got a chance to see it was a gar hooks don't really work on them seen boys using nylon rope
🤣 not long at all, although it's not the first time and it won't be the last! It's a love/hate with that rod....if it were 2" shorter I'd love it. But because of it I have to break it down everytime to put it in my truck.
Nice fishing with your son and good catches. Do they get any bigger as the season goes on Do you thaw the Sandfleas for a while before sticking them on the hook? Thanks for the video.
Thanks! They like colder water, bigger ones will move in as the season goes on. Unusually when the water temps drop below 50 degrees is when they start to disappear. I don't thaw them out, but they honestly thaw out pretty quickly.
I didn't realize it was crossed. The rod is about 2" too long so I have to break it apart to put in the truck bed. If it were 2" smaller nit would be the perfect rod! Ashley's been busy, the football season is over for our boys so you'll see her around more.
Always look forward to your videos
Thank you!!
Really enjoy watching you fishing with your son - not giving up and getting done great catches - love this !!!
Thank you!!
Some great Dad time.
Awesome video Jay. Keep em coming.
Thank you!!
Hey brother, you didn't realize you're line was twisted between the rings when you started fishing.😅
Haha I was too excited. I fixed it later. I wish that rod was 2" smaller so I wouldn't have to take it apart to put in my truck!
Someone needed to tell him. Lol
Looked like a great fishing evening. I am heading back to second street today since i did well yesterday.
I’ve been seeing reports they are catching some nice keeper tog up at the Indian river inlet 🤷♂️

I can verify this. I've been fishing the Indian River the last past week
@@BigBoySurFishen makes me wish I was down there lol

Good video. I'm a fresh water guy but may try fishing down there when I'm back in town. Glad to see you fixed your twisted line :)
Definitely give saltwater a try! You never know what your going to catch in saltwater.
Good luck with the rest of the year man
Thank you! Should be heating up with bigger tog soon!
How long did it take to realize your line was wrapped around the rod?🤣
Lol 2 piece quick fix!

Thanks, I'll give it a try when the Surf Fishing ends.
Curious, why you criss cross your line? BTW where's the wife?

Nice fishing video update and keep up with the great work and I will be back down there next year and happy Halloween
Happy Halloween!!
