Lately, I've been contemplating retirement, uncertain whether my 401(k) and IRA will ensure a secure future. I've also invested $800K in the stock market, experiencing fluctuations without substantial gains.
Using a 401(k) or IRA is a valuable strategy for retirement planning, providing potential savings growth and tax advantages. While the stock market is promising, expert guidance is essential for effective portfOlio management
Opting for an invest-ment advisr is currently the optimal approach for navigating the stock market, particularly for those nearing retirement. I've been consulting with a coach for a while, and my portfOlio has surged by 45% since Q2.

A book entitled "Million Dollar Portfolio" by David Gardner is a good, easy breakdown of building wealth through the stock market. Not a boring read, either. Their stock advisory company is a little quirky. (David Gardner co-owns "The Motley Fool"...)
Putting well-earned money into the stock market can't be over emphasised for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me?
Personally, I would say have a mentor. Not sure where you will get an experienced one, but if your knowledge of the market is limited, it seems like a good bet.

My impression after many years is, that Robert Kiyosaki repackaged the same message again and again, and made a good marketing around it. The basic story about his " Rich Dad " was already a good idea, as we all believe stories about a third, mystical person. And the good move was that he supported network marketing, and that gave him a big audience, Amway Diamonds helped him to sell a lot of books at the big rallies at the very beginning. In 1992, Kiyosaki published his first book, If You Want to Be Rich and Happy, Don't Go To School. In his book, he encouraged parents not to send their children to college and instead to enter the real estate business...Kiyosaki's company filed for bankruptcy in 2012. /source Wikipedia/

I'm 29, and I've been grinding since 19. Sometimes you will have a plan and shit will just happen. I believe it's not black or white but a spiritual journey as well. First you got to find a job you enjoy, if you don't you'll burn yourself out, and you should never seek to retire. Working is good for the mind, and humanity. You just got to find something you enjoy, and put more money into stocks, and then real estate than materials. That's all. If you got the mind to live in your families home, roomate, trailer or effiency and work 80 hours a week making 1200 - 3000 and sacrifice a majority of your checks you can potentially make 200 - 500% on your savings in 5 years. Maybe more if you choose the right stocks. It's simply said, but it is a tough journey if you do not find something you enjoy. 1. Career fulfillment 2. Car debt paid off 3. Invest That's it. Rich Marcus I think they call that “acting white”
@The Public Specter how about you do your research on how black people were not allowed or even killed for trying access, let alone give out this information for other people like him. Your comment is thoroughly ignorant. You have no idea what it means to be black in America so next time, ask questions to open up your perspective rather than spewing ignorant opinions on someone's feelings of happiness for seeing someone like him as articulate as he is. It's positive self imagery, not racism, stupid...
There are plenty of Black men who 'talk' like him.

What I love about you Richard is all of those 5 ways are not rocket science and are tried and trued methods. People just need to get a plan and work it. You are a great example of sticking with a plan and getting results. Thanks for the no nonsense information.
Your support and encouragement as always give me the chance to tell everyone there’s nothing impossible

The real estate is so true. I have friends whom do this and they do not work. They are building duplexes and that how they finance them by taking the equity out of the homes.. it really makes since.. great for military people since they move around so much..
Market behavior can be complex and unpredictable. Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach to whom you have used their services?
Her name is Sonya lee Mitchell. Hope that helps
Thanks for this, but I already have a 401(k). You think I'm still eligible to use a financial advisor?
I have been associated with VladimirCorp for past 1 year. They are very professional in their approach. They have vast experience in the field. I would recommend financially naive individuals like me to get enrolled in their comprehensive plan. Which is helping me a lot in planning my financials confidently.
My infinite gratitude to you for doing the impossible you know I was trying to do for so long so that I could complete the task, they did that for me and I want to thank them for the success
Thanks for sharing good solid info... Food for thought… put numbers to these strategies, especially with your Vanguard/ ETFs vs others… the Real Estate piece… kool ; but to your listeners make sure you have the correct partner by your side... Moving around can be a huge stressor on married couples…
FYI: blink factor..the car thing is counter-productive towards your base audience… I'm kool with it but that's me…. However if you're going to highlight the hoopties get your garage professionally finished…
Your candid demeanor is very inspirational.
Thank you 🙏🏽

A book entitled "Million Dollar Portfolio" by David Gardner is a good, easy breakdown of building wealth through the stock market. Not a boring read, either. Their stock advisory company is a little quirky. (David Gardner co-owns "The Motley Fool"...)
S&P 500 stocks my dude
Roland Holland thank you, gonna see where I can pick it up or order it this weekend
Investing in stocks is fking mess it's a gamble. You can never predict the market. It's actually worse to invest in stock market than gambling
Some individuals minimize the importance of counsel until they make regrettable mistakes. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and i'm eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?
Kenna Muriel Hesseling is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment
I just Googled her name and her website came up right away. It looks interesting so far. I sent her an email and i hope she responds soon.

That Robert Kyosaki is full of crap, "don't work for a paycheck".
You must not have read rich dad poor dad If that’s all you get from Robert Kiyosaki
@@koleymusic4909 ikr, many can agree that this is the most retarded comment about rich dad poor dads author.

I can attest that real estate is a great investment. Learn as much as you can.
Save some cash first
Study the real estate cycle of when to buy. Also understand if you're a short term house flipper or a long term investor. Both do not carry the same risk.
Be prepared to lose some money and become very handy in fixing up the home if you don't have the money to pay for repairs buy smart very smart pay attention to school areas and crime rate
