Good video - thanks. You talk a lot about how increasing your skills can lead to higher income - this is good advice. However, I have found that it also depends on supply and demand for those skills. You might be a highly skilled person in a field that is interesting and exciting and everyone wants to do it but because there is a lot of supply you won't get paid much. Or you may put in less work to develop your skills in a field that not many people want to do, so the low supply of people willing to do that type of work will lead to higher income to meet the demand.
At the start you mentioned reading watching and learning about how to manage money, but evolved into switching to biographies to learn about the sustainability. Well sir, your channel is sustainable due to your realness.

What I do is slightly a reverse of your story. I am a professional photographer. Been freelance for over 20 years. I learned on film which back then was costly and time consuming and demanding great attention to detail. Along comes digital. The technology allowed people with less means (and less aptitude) to become photographers. The market is now saturated with photographers (many, many, many of them good). I still work and get jobs because of my experience and my style but it seems to me the amount being paid to all photographers continues to drop as the supply of them increases. Luckily for me I was very well compensated for years and invested smartly and so income from photography is in a weird way less important and made me enjoy my craft more.
