Honnamma Falls is a lovely waterfall located in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. The waterfall is situated at a distance of about 23 km from Chikmagalur and about 10 km from Baba Budan Giri. Though the waterfall can be visited throughout the year, the best time to visit is during the months of October to April. The lovely waterfall has a height of about 30 feet. It is a wonderful spot and offers fascinating views of Baba Budan Giri Hills

There are no restrictions for your own vehicle to reach the location. There is no rule issued either by the govt authority or by the property owner to reach the location only by the jeep. As this is a off road people having an off road vehicle they can easily reach jeep is just an optional, jeep people just gimik the tourists to loot the money of 800rs for a jeep comprises 5 people its about 1.5 km easily reach by walk. Two wheeler vehicles can easily go through this road and have a safe journey don't get looted by the cheap gimik people
