Anyways, no one is safe from this series ! Not even myself...TWICE in this video! I'll do three, don't think I won't. Learn to laugh at yourself and others. Also if some of these entries sound very oddly specific, trust me, I've been part of the Car Scene my whole life. After you attend like 1000 Car Meets, you miraculously start to see some repeat "Character Archetypes" that only seem oddly specific in one instance, but after multiple instances, you realize they're a new breed. They just haven't been mentioned by other Mainstream Automotive creators, but trust me, I WILL. I'M THE OBSCURE MEME HUNTING MID LIFE CRISIS CORVETTE HAVING WEEABOO!

As a no car, car guy I at least know stuff from helping my dad work on cars as a kid, granted that knowledge is limited to basic maintenance work and some knowledge on old carbureted muscle cars. To this day I still feel this need to work on cars in my soul, that I just am unable to do right now.
But do you know how to hold the light correctly?
Thank god he didn’t mention me in his 50 types of car guys. I’m that guy who owns 12 cars but only drives 1 as a daily and it’s a Civic. I keep that R34 and the GT in the garage, but it’s like a prison: they only see the light of day twice a year.

I'm getting a base Boxster because I want something cheap and fun, I really like the way it looks, and I cant afford an S, but I could definitely see how people could try to "flex" a cheap base model Boxster.

Is there a general car guy / gearhead category? A guy I work with and I would fit into that category. We talk about the classics (and are old enough to have owned several, including special editions). We know what power plants were in them. We appreciate the styling & engineering of the newer cars, too. Like going to car shows to see what people have done. We lean toward performance (laugh at the farters with lipstick on a pig mods). We've done mods, tuning, etc on cars we've owned and currently own. I haven't done wraps, but can see how cool that looks. Basically just enjoy car culture and making cars look better, perform better, express perfectly a certain car culture (low rider, drifter, classic restore, whatever - if it's done well).
That's kinda the category I'd put myself in, although I never owned a car and can't drive. I just fucken love cars, always did. My dad always jokes about how I was able to identify cars before I was able to do basic math😂😂 would love to get one and learn how to work on it and drive it but fuck drivers license here is 3k and I just can't afford that shit

9:36 This hurts man. I am that special car, quirky features and KDM Guy. Maybe you can already guess what car I drive. Only thing I want to mention is that the aftermarket support isn't that big of a problem. The only thing is that I live in Germany 😂 What means (from what I've heard) that if you want to get ground effect parts from America or else (bc German aftermarket support is for my car is still stuck in 2008) you'd need to have or make a "stability check" which could damage or break the part you paid for. Even if the part is from a OEM certified manufacturer.

I’m not even gonna lie I’m definitely the quirks and features guy. I own a 2004 Dodge Intrepid and nobody remembers these cars but it’s kind of nice when you get somebody that is really interested in them and genuinely wants to know more about them. It actually makes me feel good that younger currently busiest actually want to learn about these weird forgotten cars.
A Dodge Intrepid is one of my guilty pleasure cars. I love those things. But I know they're not the best or most reliable cars, but I love them.
@@Leizgirl haha! I love ‘‘em too. Mine has always had something broken on it (through no fault of its own) as most of the stuff has worn out with age or from my own mistakes. It’s been fairly reliable otherwise but for me at least, but it has needed quite a lot of stuff in the 3 years I’ve owned it.
