You can see them wanting to keep the tone of the video being teaching and professional, but every now and again the awesome chaos we watch for bubbles up to the surface haha great job TT
22:58 you did the damage for the 3 mortal wound crits, but you didn't make a wound roll for that successful hit. Is that right or am i missing a rules interaction. Amazing video guys.
The original GW articles had stated if you force the opponent to take a double turn they still got to have tactics. Did the rulebooks with Skaventide state otherwise?
I believe it's the Fire and Jade book that comes with Skaventide. It has every single current factions spearhead contents and warscrolls, along with scenarious. It's like a "lite" rulebook, and it's handy for learning the special rules and stuff for each armies spearhead. Plus, it's useful so you can have your current spearheads warscrolls all right in front of you.
Great video! Thank you. Playing Spearhead you don't count up unit's points, right? The armies are premade? I'm going to intro game a friend but I want to use armies I already got assembled or painted, but I'm wondering how I'd do it... Points of spearhead. Suggestion?
Can someone tell me whether or not the box comes with dice I've been getting conflicting reports about that and I feel like it's a massive oversight if it doesn't come with dice
Thanks for the feedback. For clarity sake though, the core rules are Sigmar. Spearhead is just the battle plan set best aimed for beginners. So if doing a how to play, it’s perfectly to logical to teach only the core rules and therefor a spearhead battle plan. You are still learning to play Sigmar. :)
Haha, it does feel weird to say it! But when you’re making a video for people that have likely never watched us before, it would be equally weird to see a guy introduce another person as ‘Beard’. 😅
Sorry you feel that way. The core rules are in fact the same though? There is no difference between them other than the advanced rules kick in when playing larger. At which point, you’re no longer a beginner and probably don’t need a How To Play video :)
@@tabletoptactics I feel that the core rules are very similar, but that they are in fact 2 very different games that will attract distinct communities, with a high potential for crossover between them. But I appreciate the response, switching to thumbs up for you to spread the signal.
@kingbobb007 Thank you, I appreciate it. I agree for sure, they are two very different ways to play. We just figured from a pure beginner/grass roots point of view, you will learn the core rules first before progressing so that’s the angle we went with here :)
This feels like when the class clowns get locked in for the best presentation the teacher has ever seen.

Thank you :)
The funniest part of these intro videos is knowing how hard they are trying to contain themselves from expressing their full "characters" 😂
Giving someone the double turn doesnt stop them from being able to take a battle tactic, only choosing to take it does.
I love your age of sigmar content!
I throughly enjoy Lawrence’s and Joes enthusiasm for this.
Look like a great pair to grab a pint with after the game
I've missed AOS on your channel. Good to see it for the new ed. Love you guys!
awesome video :D easy to understand video ❤❤❤
Very comprehensive, I loved it!
Looks like a lot of fun. Thinking of getting in to the game, as the models look incredible.
just getting into sigmar, i was disappointed when your AoS content stopped
Guys the production value here is absolutely top! And the quality of the paint jobs on the mini’s is incredible.
Smashing it!!
interesting to learn that damage spills over in AOS
Oh you're back to covering the best game I see
Now that 4th is out and in the open, we need to begin the fan push for Chaos Dwarves to make a come back. DAWI ZHARR! DAWI ZHARR! DAWI ZHARR!
You guys are the real sigmar males.
I've been praying for this video from you guys
Would love to hear which armies you guys are excited to play in 4th. How excited was heard to see slavers rules.
Looking forward to you’ll showing some amazing battle reports for 4 th!!!!
Great intro to AoS 🎉
Easy to understand, amazing enthusiasm, always glad to see y’all and hope to play against y’all when I visit across the pond!

Beard the first 5 seconds of the video: If I don't move they can't see me.
😂
will the warscrolls be aviable on 29th june or 13th july?
1:32 which book is that?

@@kyledouglass5078 thx man! I appreciate the info
Are there Spearhead lists for demons? You seem to have the book but just say for 20x factions. Please let me know if possible. Thanks!
there isn't a moral phase now?
Even in a demonstration game the spider rolls hot! 🕷️
My luck follows me everywhere 😅

Anyone know where the trees they used are from?
Sylvaneth terrain trees
Thinking of dipping the toe into AoS, thanks for the video!
How do you get that spearhead book with all the datasheets? Is it only in skaventide?
The book is called Fire and Jade and comes in Skaventide yes. I’m sure they’ll do it separately at some point :)
The video we need but is it the one we deserve?
Can someone tell me whether or not the box comes with dice I've been getting conflicting reports about that and I feel like it's a massive oversight if it doesn't come with dice
they do not come with dice, and I dont get why people are upset about that
Awesome video
Sigmar BABYYYYYYY!
What is rend? Think I missed explanations there...
Rend nerfs the opponents units save roll.
May the force of Sigmar be with you!⚜
Regiments are kinda confusing for a 40K player. I’m unsure of how to actually build a list in Sigmar.
Hoping this helps me get started
Is it not now mortal damage now not mortal wounds?
The skavengtide box set doesn't have everything you need. Like dices and ruler
Has ruler in terrain sprue
This is awesome!!!
Sigmar-Lord Beard!
💝To prove my loyalty and passion for Warhammer, I will put the Like to each of the 22 videos in your Age of Sigmar playlist right NOW!!!
Thanx for this great tutorial!
Casimer Wall
More lovely AoS from the lovely team!
Superb moooore
Don't need to play more than one round. Those Scaven were already toast.
Let's go maggot-kiiiiiiin!
Kassulke Spring
If AOS comes back ill be interested in this channel again.
Still I go you go, it's a miss for me but I'll still have fun painting armies
More age of Sigmar content pls .
Aww I was excited to learn till I found out I had to have a friend. I need a friend….
You should warn that your are playing spearhead and not a normal Aos 4 game
Literally in the first 30 seconds they say they are playing spearhead
@@thehouseofjim2207 I know, thats why I meant in the thumbnail otherwise its just clickbait

@@tabletoptactics Should have still clarified in the video title IMO. The game sets up and plays entirely differently.
Why did you call Beard “Joe”? That is just weird, man.

Goodness what bad rolls 😅
Just so u know the lord-veritant is a girl.
Thanks for the catch :)
Nah
Bad title. Spearhead is not AoS 4th. Misleading and down voted
