We really do, there is very little well-produced AoS content outside of painting content. If I see another power point with mono tone voice I'm going to cry.

You know what made Skaven fun back in the days of Fantasy?? Swarming the enemy with a few 40 block skaven slaves, crazy war machines back-firing and killing itself or running over your clan rats - all looks lost - but sometimes something crazy would happen and you win the game. It was really fun!
we played against a skaven player who used like 30 jezzails and 2 warp canons, plus a lot of wizards. everybody hated it lol
I much prefer to use themes flavour lists than boring meta clone lists.
Skaven are fun to play, whether you win or lose. They're awful people, so you don't find if they bite it. But they're also underdogs (underrats?), so it feels great when they pull out an unlikely victory.
@@Bluecho4 100% That's why I loved them so much - you never knew what was going to happen and win or lose, it was always fun!

Mubin, I've taught a fair number of people how to play 40k. I aspire to be as good at being the new player's opponent as you are. Not to imply that anyone else here doesn't know how to play- this is a great video for teaching.

Great video, would love to see more AoS content down the road! What I also really like about AoS 4th edition is that you can play with the starter rules that don't include things like magic, prayers, commands, etc. Really makes the core game easy to understand for new players!

JT pretending to not knowing how to play and coming up with questions seems odd, but this is best guide i saw for AoS, and first that let me - seasoned 6th and 7th edition WFB player - get the rules and attempt to play with my round based models this time. Good job!

Ive seen a fight between skaven and stormcast for 4th like 10 times and every time is such a great time cause every game is so different

I gotta I'm surprised that the wound roll isn't against the enemy's toughness, it feels like another hit roll. I've never played AoS and still new to 40k so maybe I'm missing some nuance? Still looks like a lot of fun! The armies look super dope! 🤓

Question when deploying regiments do units from the regiment need to be near each other or can the be wherever in your zone
I'm not sure if I missed it, but are you not allowed to move on top of the objectives, or were they staying off of them to make them easy to see?

So the charge in rule.. I am new to both 40k and AOS.. When the player who charges in attacks.. why did they only get to go first with one of the units? Isnt it all the units that charged in go first? I understand it in a continuation of a previous combat faze, but I am confused about the benefit of charging in if you go second?
I might be a bit confused, but at the end of round 2, how is stormcast holding their home objective and the one on the right side of the battlefield? No units are within 3" of the objective?
so a thing in age of sigmar is that objectives are sticky, so you just need to capture them, say you move a unit of clan rats onto it, then move it off, the objective is still yours until the enemy captures it, hope this helped

do skaven still have Gnaw holes? Warhammer+ used Gnaw holes but no other videos I have watched used them. always love skaven.
They have them available on the app so I guess so
I think they just wanted to simplify the game for beginners
So the shooting phase is for your ranged weapons and the combat phase is for cqc ?

maybe in 3th ed. This is 4th ed. We don't know unit cost nor unit composition yet.

So in AoS there are no strength/toughness comparisons for wounding? So a spear would wound a rat on the same roll it would wound a god?
at 30:10 he chooses not to shoot. Is there any particular reason he would do that. does shooting mean you cant also do regular attacks or something?

guys, what happents if i wound with one attack of 5 dmg, the dmg spread to the other units or only one unit take the dmg? even if that unit have one hp
Damage spreads within a unit but does not spread from one unit to another unit in a fight. You will need to allocate attacks to one unit and resolve them, and allocate if you have more attacks to another unit and resolve those.

New edition for AOS so it’s what people are googling / searching for right now.
100% unconfirmed but if you believe the articles with no sources GW has payed some channels to make AOS content which is fine lots of companies do that. Thought if the leaks are true then they aren’t marking content as sponsored breaking TH-cam TOS. I don’t think play on would do that though.
@@cirno9349 I don’t know about payment, but it’s pretty obvious GW sends influencers free boxes with the stipulation they have to talk about them. How many TH-camrs did you see make a single video with the Age of Darkness box and then never talk about Horus Heresy again?
