And Qrow's last line there is a callback to Ozpin's line to Pyrrha in Volume 3, Chapter 6 when he is about to explain the Maidens to her.

I wouldn't go quite that far. I'd say that Eric is analyzing the show right, but keeps analyzing the wrong areas. It's not that he's constantly looking for shit to complain about, it's that he is looking at the show and he keeps accidentally skipping over the good bits because the bad bits stick out more. In short: He is looking for shit to complain about but he's doing it unintentionally. Aaron isn't taking things seriously at all which might be a genuine problem in the future. Who knows? I certainly don't.

(Or into a random female person if it was a male they were thinking of before dying). The old Wizard guy granted the Maidens this power. Who's to say the powers of the Wizard can't have the same death-rules as the Maidens? Though it's not 100% confirmed, I think Ozpin did in fact die in his fight with Cinder, but his soul went into Oscar, hence why Oscar is hearing Ozpin's voice. Ozpin was the last Wizard-host before dying and making Oscar the new Wizard-host.

Aura breaking suddenly appeared and was never explained in the show. It may be weird to not immediately connect it with aura, but not knowing what aura breaking means is very understandable

Honestly, I don't understand why him not using his scythe was a negative thing for so many. It would've been pointless to use his scythe. It wouldn't be as useful in a close range fight like a sword as we've clearly seen any time Ruby was fighting Tyrian. One could argue the skill levels are different and Ruby isn't good with close range so of course Tyrian had an edge over her....that holds some truth to it, but still. Qrow knew what he was doing not using his scythe and I think it was a smart move.
This is also a callback to the 1x3 when Ruby asked Blake what book she was reading. She said "It's about a man with 2 souls, each fighting for dominance for his body."
Guys, they give the full names of every character in the closing titles of every episode they are in. Qrow's surname is Branwen, it's been out in the open for ages. The last episode of each season has all the characters that were in the whole season. This is how Salem's name was revealed. PS Weiss has always had a side ponytail as a small way of rebelling against her father's strictness, she de-aligned her room as a further extension of this.
This was my favourite fight in this season asides from (without spoiling it) the one that is yet to come (and before anyone attacks me for my comment, it's RWBY guys, there is always a fight scene at the end of every volume). But yes, this fight was my favourite. Seeing Qrow in action but for obviously different reasons. Whilst with Winter it was because they really don't like each other and Tyrion because he's fighting to protect his niece which meant Qrow was taking his opponent quite seriously (and with Winter he was dicking around). The way this battle flows is much better than the last couple of fights we've had, everything feels a lot more seamless and more in line with Monty's work and it's a sign here the people directing the show are starting to find the right balance (whereas the last couple of fights, especially the sea dragon Grimm battle was very jerky at times).
For the record, if you listen carefully to the lyrics of the song that plays during Qrow's fight, you can pick up on something interesting about Qrow... it's what makes him my favorite hero character in the show thus far. To quote DBZA Vegeta, "OH MY GOD, HE'S SO *GOD* **DAMN** ***COOL.*** "

Weiss is my 2nd favorite character for many reasons. One of them being how selfless, kind, responsible, intelligent, and determined she is. She could've easily beat everyone's ass in there and bust out, but she has such control and respect. I love Weiss.

In Episode 2 Whitley mentions that "Mother is drinking in the garden again" so I assume she's still around but incapable of running the company and so JacqueAss gets to run it instead.
One more thing!!! Every time you see a person's body glow a weird color around their bodies, that's their Aura defense being depleted! That means they'll be open for attacks; they're in their weakest state. Remember, Aura can be used as a shield/armor around the body, but if it takes too much damage it will break.
Also you guys need to catch up on World of Remnant videos. They explain so much about the world, countries, Faunus, and even the Schnee family. You guys wouldn't have to be guessing so much if you just watch those videos. They will help explain stuff.

It's not really confirmed directly in the show, but the general consensus is that Ozpin is reborn into a different, specific person every time he dies. He didnt use his scythe cause he didnt have room. Both from Ruby being too close and from Tyrian being too fast.

Guys, they give the full names of every character in the closing titles of every episode they are in. Qrow's surname is Branwen, it's been out in the open for ages. The last episode of each season has all the characters that were in the whole season. This is how Salem's name was revealed.
PS Weiss has always had a side ponytail as a small way of rebelling against her father's strictness, she de-aligned her room as a further extension of this.

This was my favourite fight in this season asides from (without spoiling it) the one that is yet to come (and before anyone attacks me for my comment, it's RWBY guys, there is always a fight scene at the end of every volume).
But yes, this fight was my favourite. Seeing Qrow in action but for obviously different reasons. Whilst with Winter it was because they really don't like each other and Tyrion because he's fighting to protect his niece which meant Qrow was taking his opponent quite seriously (and with Winter he was dicking around). The way this battle flows is much better than the last couple of fights we've had, everything feels a lot more seamless and more in line with Monty's work and it's a sign here the people directing the show are starting to find the right balance (whereas the last couple of fights, especially the sea dragon Grimm battle was very jerky at times).

Qrow and Raven's last name is Branwen. According to the RWBY wiki, Branwen is Welsh for "blessed white raven/crow." Rooster Teeth usually reveals character's full names either through the end credits or with social media posts, so we've known Qrow's last name for a while now. Since you guys don't usually read the credits and probably don't follow Rooster Teeth's social media, it's understandable that you don't know.

Weiss is my 2nd favorite character for many reasons. One of them being how selfless, kind, responsible, intelligent, and determined she is. She could've easily beat everyone's ass in there and bust out, but she has such control and respect. I love Weiss.

In Episode 2 Whitley mentions that "Mother is drinking in the garden again" so I assume she's still around but incapable of running the company and so JacqueAss gets to run it instead.

One more thing!!! Every time you see a person's body glow a weird color around their bodies, that's their Aura defense being depleted! That means they'll be open for attacks; they're in their weakest state. Remember, Aura can be used as a shield/armor around the body, but if it takes too much damage it will break.

if you noticed from previous seasons there were some fairy tale titles that were foreshadowing for future events for examples the man with two souls [Oscar with Ozpin] and the girl in the tower [Weiss current situation].

It's not really confirmed directly in the show, but the general consensus is that Ozpin is reborn into a different, specific person every time he dies. So when the Ozpin we knew was younger, the "former Ozpin" who had died merged souls with him and they shared memories, thoughts etc.
So eventually, Oscar will fully become Ozpin, with a slightly different personality.
Or that,,,Ozpin is the wizard and now Oscar is the new wizard

I am a supporter of Weiss Schnee and Neptune. But remember, Prince Charming also loved Cinderella, Rapunzel, and a few other princesses other than Snow White, and I doubt you would pair Neptune with Cinder.
