God is great, and geese aren't too bad! We live on a lake in SC and have wild Canadian geese around, with their babies, and boy do they love our grass (I let the grass get a bit long for them). Last year there was one gosling having probs walking around & was a bit smaller than his sibs, and after much observation noticed it had fishing line wrapped around its foot. Got with my neighbor and we corralled/ambushed them & I was able to run it down & catch it with a fishing net, then cut off all the line (which had cut down to the bone). A few weeks later it was walking like normal & seemed AOK!!!
I love my ducks but they didn’t imprint on me like my goslings. My goslings imprinted and started following me around so quick, it’s the sweetest thing. ❤️
It was so fun to watch you training the babies. You take great care of them,God bless you both. I've always wanted to have geese,but can't do them at this time so it's great to watch you 😇
We have a lot of baby ducks here at our mobile home park. Gosling, Mallards, and those claw ducts who perch. The main predator in the three ponds here are turtles, hundreds I'd say, and the little babies get eaten quite quickly. Some do survive to add to the flocks I'm very happy to see. I love your interaction with your goslings you really enjoy your birds.

I was speaking with an engineer about the questionable food McDs sells. He said he was on a trip and stopped in there and got food for his family, and a plain burger for his dog. It wouldn't touch it. Smart Dog.
I would think an easier way to measure their growth would be to weigh them. Thank you for the video! I love the little goslings. Also...could you make a couple year playlists? Like year 1, year 2. Or 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 etc.

It was a stupid joke but not more then 2 minutes before watching your video I saw her in a news video and somebody made a bunch of jokes in the comments about her and it was fresh in my head... The joke went something like this. AOC was seen holding a box of Cheerios when she said, "I can feed the whole World, All I have to do is plant these Donut seeds" There that probably makes more sense.

I have read that if you include weeds that you want to control mixed into the greens offered to the goslings, as adult geese they will continue to eat them. I am very interested in your goose experience. I live in the pacific northwest and grass is available for most of the year and geese seem like a great idea.

When I was stationed at Fort Jackson one of my clients brought in an injured gosling. I was going to nurse it back to health and had named it "Ryan Gosling"....but later found out the wound on the neck was not just superficial and the esophagus was torn :( I tried doing a surgical repair (yes under anesthesia) but the tear was just too big. Humanely euthanized poor Ryan Gosling.
