And this reminds me of sylvania zevo.
It’s the same approach because those led brake lights are nice and bright for what they are. But even if it’s on camera or in person, they are not as bright as oem.
But that’s how it’s supposed to function.
So I think it’s a good upgrade for what they are. And it’s very nice.

It’s hard to appreciate the difference with the camera but I’m sure they are way better.😊

That is true, the camera never does it justice. The LEDs are brighter and I like the look of them over stock. Thank you for watching!

Thank you for these videos! I’m slowly doing mods to my 08 JKU and this is on my list.

@@traceywade3315 Absolutely! I’m having fun filming things I do to the Jeep and hopefully helping someone out in the process. If you haven’t seen it yet I have an LED headlight upgrade video too. Might be worth looking at if you want to do headlights too. I’m also going to have some good maintenance videos coming up soon. Thank you for watching!

That’s not a ballast. A ballast is for HID.
    Those are load equalizer resistor.
And for led bulbs that has a box between the bulb and the connector are called external driver. For heat management and longevity.

Thank you for the info! I didn’t know the proper name for those but knew they helped with heat management, so I tried to keep it away from the other wiring. They seem about the same brightness as stock, but still a cool and easy upgrade. Thank you for watching!
