- This is a video about how to setup a lumberjacking script for new players on UO Outlands. Time to gather that wood! I started playing outlands in January of 2021 but have seen a lot of people ask in Discord how to set this up - let me know in the comments if this was helpful or if you need anything else!

man, is there any possibility to make sound and stop script when CAPTCHA APPEARS ? just cuz sometimes ure sitting on 2-3 clients :)
No sound from Razor. Captcha is around 15 mins give or take a few so if you are running this just make sure to return and check
The way you go through these scripts, section by section, Is phenomenal. It is a great example of; don't just do it for someone, show them how AND show them why it is how it is. I'm actually learning from this & here n there I pick up a tip or trick that I use to tweak another script I've made. I went to your website & found all sorts of lumberjack scripts but I open them & they're huge & daunting. I just think "Well, what is all this? & why is it etc..." I come here & I find the answers I need. And I learn in the process. Your stuff is next level. Keep it up! 🍻

Master Jase this script is not translated on the new site and this one works really well! the others on the site always stop this one depletes the entire tree

Hey only one script can run at a time, so if you use happen to run or execute a new script/macro the current one stops.
A script to recall (like my hotkey ALT-M) outlands.uorazorscripts.com/script/5b3fde97-fa90-4707-9f8e-7f56dca6792b you should be good

How do I go about toggling this script on or off? If i hotkey it, it just stays on lol
Yeah some scripts can keep looping - meaning it will stay on until you stop it. You can stop it by running any other script or macro (only one can run at a time)
There is also a “stop script” and “stop macro” hot key in razor you could set.

Not a big fan of relying on a hardcoded pause while chopping. You can easily check sysmessage instead, clearing it at the beginning of each loop:

I prefer to stop attempting to chop once the area is depleted of resources. This helps avoid captcha failures while multi clienting-- which is the real harvesting end game. A good harvesting script should be easy to manage while running 3 clients, all logging simultaneously. Now we're making as much as the top gold earners on the server.

I copy the scripts from the website but how do you past them into the script on Razor. I can't figure how. Thanks.
Make a new script and then just control v on your computer to paste it into the new one you made. Make sure to save it after!

How does it know "the next spot" ? Like does Razer have an internal list for all lumberspots in the world? Or did you provide that list prior? Since how do you stop your toon from running around too far and being potentially attacked or something?
The script doesn't actually move you to the next spot, it just displays an overhead message telling you to move.

Looks like Egrin helped you out but this script is for helping automate the clicks only. you still need to move your character and make sure you aren’t afk to answer the captcha when it pops up. Thanks for watching!
for some reason it seems I have to keep pressing the hotkey for it to run, instead of moving it around.
Yeah this script doesn’t move the character automatically - just eases the clicks

I play on a servuo shard and i cannot get the targetrelloc to work. I keep getting a you cannot you your axe on that as if it is trying to target the ground not the tree. any ideas?
You gotta use targetrelloc and then make sure you're on the same spot of the tree each time. For example,
targetrelloc 0 -1
would target directly one tile to your North.
@@Jaseowns yea that's what i'm doing. Even if i record my actions and play it back it doesn't work. I will get a "what do you want to use this item on" sys msg and my cursor becomes the target reticle.
Now if i record my actions on the macros tab it will work, but if i convert to relative location i will again get the sysmsg you "cannot use your axe on that" =\
It seems so simple to do but for some reason i cannot figure out it wont work for me, haha
so i just started playing on outlands again and this time i started using scripts and came across your mining and this lumberjacking one.....the mining one worked great and then i added the lumberjacking one which worked great too until i switched what hotkey it was on...after i switched the hotkey for some reason no matter what it doesnt replay the overhead 'Move to next spot' over and over again if theres no wood left...like it just stops the whole script without stopping the script(also does the same thing even with the script on your github)
then if i have a hatchet in my hand from doing the lumberjacking script and i do the mining script....it just switches back and forth between the pick and the hatchet....but works perfectly fine when the pick is in my hand......have any ideas especially with the lumberjacking one....i can live with the mining pick thing

Still having problems? I definitely don't account for the "type" of weapon in your hand, you would want to add "clearall" (which would remove cursors that are open, drop anything you are holding and remove r/l hand) - so if you want to mix them, make sure you empty your hands first.
Also as far as keys not working.. make sure the bind actually took place and is assigned to the correct script. Sometimes I have multiple scripts as I edit and I forget the hotkey is bound to the one i'm not actually working on :D
@@Jaseowns the keys work...for the lumberjack one it still runs the script even if theres no wood around but it only displays the message to move one time and then nothing and im not sure why cause before i moved what hotkey it was on it was working perfectly fine....its a weird one
What do you do about the repeated captchas that come up periodically though?

is there anyway to have it walk a direction when you cannot produce any wood?
You can use “walk ‘south’” and other directions from razor scripts but since unattended gathering is not allowed - it’s better to avoid trying to automate the movement portion. Thanks for watching!
@@Jaseowns it was allowed if you could do the capchas for each, as long as you were looking at the screen to do so, now I'm told they are banning them even doing it that way and even buy agents
I tried this but the capta comes up and banned me for 5 hours
