And so applicable to so many situations in life. Want to start a conflict because your honor demands it? Arguing because your honor demands you to be right? Stand in the graveyard of those who died for those same things and ask them if their honor mattered much in the end...

He was born during the final years of war, when life was ONLY abou survival, everything that could buy time no matyer how small, you took it regardless of moral implications. Everything is seen through a cold-hearted calculus. For Javik to go from the resigned-to-defeat warrior of a dead race thats only existence is to die to the Reaper's actually talk about what he might do after the War. That's character

@@Chirpysemperboy That's not really the kind of honor he's talking about though. He's talking about Shepard having hope of beating the Reapers while still having his dignity intact. He opposes this idea, because he knows the only way to beat the Reapers is by committing horrible acts that are anything but honorable. For example, sacrifice a billion people in one system so that you can regain your strength and save five billion in another system. The quote about the ghosts imply that the ghosts would've wanted Shepard to fight dirty if it meant saving them all, instead of playing by honorable rules that got them all killed.

it's true on one hand, but on the other I'm staring to think that most things he said came from despair and not from true knowledge. Just imagine you'd wake up from a 50k years nap and you find out that you're probably the last human beeing in the galaxy. Let's just say, it might be a bit depressing^^
It's funny how his behaviour changes depending on what you advice regarding the memory shard. If you tell him to give it a shot, he's going to commit suicide as soon as the reapers are defeated, if you tell him to NOT to relive those memories he tells you that he might probably write a book about prothean history with Liara later. Definitely one of the best characters in the whole ME franchise.

I love talking to him so much. The things he says, and his unique perspective. The Protheans were settled on Mars and watching humans for centuries. If you think about it, the Protheans were likely occasionally spotted in the night sky by human ancestors that had no idea what they were looking at.
I also love how he says they intentionally left the Sol system to try to encourage the Reapers into thinking humans weren't advanced enough, and it worked. The way he talks about Asari "Oh so the Asari have finally figured out writing?" Yeahhhh about that Javik. They've done more than that.

Is it just me or does the Prothean empire seem to be based off of Warhammer 40k's Craftworld Eldar? They both have exemplars embodying a single trait and have different paths that focus on one purpose. They used to have galaxy spanning empires. And they considered themselves superior to any other sentient species in existence.

well i can, just put uranium 236 ona circle near critical mass, then you put the other half of the uranium in a barrel aiming at the core, when the explosives slams the other half into the core you get a nuclesr fission, and if you want a bigger bomb you use putonium with neuterium and tritium and voaila

@@Kevineitor199 Uranium 235 if old book's pic weren't worn off so I missed one line. And yes, I know. Plus I know you can add deuterium and tritium for bigger boom. But it's like saying that to go to the Moon you need to have spaceship and go ZIUUUUU up, aiming at Moon.

No, button be fair, if you WERE frozen for 50,000 years and humans were a war with a galaxy destroying machine race at the time and had also left behind the schematics to build a device intended to destroy them, I don't think it's an unfair assumption that whoever finds you, while also under threat from that same machine race, might expect or at least hope, that you were preserved because you knew more about it.
