Ok quick note, do not progress the date to the future it messes up your game, instead, set the date back 7 days, go back to the game, put it back to today, this way you will not break your save
@@beepbeepgamer1305 set it back 7 days, load the game, this way it thinks its 7 days back, for example 8th of jan is today, game thinks its 8th of jan, set it back to 1st of jan, load the game, it thinks its 1st of jan, but the data doesnt change, set it to 2nd of jan, it thinks a day cycle passed, and skips a whole day. keep doing until you get back to 8th of jan, then you can set it back to 1st of jan, repeat. as the other comment said, it can mess with your game if you keep setting it forward, including not getting wasteland junk, daily rewards, etc
Here's a tip for you. Write down what you pan on saying when you make a video. This drug on and took twice as long as it needed to because you sounded like you weren't sure what you were saying. It made the video a bit difficult to watch. Other than that,, good video and I will def try that glitch out, thank you.
The problem with this is that when you send dwellers out into the wasteland after glitching the game, they will not be finding any gear until you reach the point in time in the future where you ended up in your cheating. I was cheesing the game before to speed up SPECIAL stats training, but I returned to not doing it and luckily finding an old save after I deleted the game where my dwellers still kept bringing stuff back from the wasteland. (Having dwellers find stuff in wasteland is important, because they find a lot of junk and rare gear that can be turned into junk to craft weapons and outfits for your vault dwellers, I was running short without). But I was wondering what happens if you turn the time (say) 2 years into the past and then slowly build up your stats in training room and collect lunch boxes until the current date, when you turn the time back to automatic. Would that prevent dwellers from losing out on wasteland stuff because you didn't jump into the future? I don't know and my vault is too much fun right now, so I don't want to ruin it by cheesing the game again.
@@dantheman9050 - I did turn the time back recently and then to the present. It works. You can collect junk afterwards. But all my 25 dwellers in the wasteland died. So if you want to speed up the game, go to past and return to present. Or stay far in the past until you achieve all your time goals. Drawbacks: Do not have dwellers out in the wasteland if you change time forward much!!! Benefits: You get to update every stat after skipping one day. Get to every quest or back from quest. i've experienced something similar. it won't work going back in time. it seems like the saves have some time stamping and then it won't register going back. I'm thinking I'll try to go back on my PC like 2 years and then start a new game and slowly going forward day by day. i've even tried going offline on my steam and it didn't work properly. I messed up and logged into the vault before setting the date 7 days in the past. And this method only worked for if I wanted to go to the future. The reward screen froze.
It worked for 2 times but then it just started to give only 4 days rewards of 20 caps each and not clicking for last 3 days of the week where actual reward is .. I wonder what's that about ?
@@thawk7294 no, just exit the app without closing it, go to the settings, go to date and time, change the day to 7 days forward, and just go back to the app. Hope that helps!👍
yeah its a glitch that happens it basically messes up your save i heard somewhere else that the only way to fix it is to wait the same amount of time that you skipped ahead which is not worth it so youll probs just have to start a new vault
Wrong, it happens when you skip further than the 7th day. If you skipped 9 days, you wouldn't get 9 rewards, you would get 2, because the week that you are currently in rewards you. Not the one before.

I have all the stat training building in a Collum going down in special order ... Have around a mill caps Have hundreds of pets Every lvl cleared, unlocked, a mr handy on it Have at least dozen miss launcher , 25 damage weapons More costumes then i can use or need ... Etc etc etc ...
I've been doing this for years since I've been a teen. But now I just hack the game... Get 1m caps 400k bottles and 200+ (3 kinda Packs {launch boxes} if I wanted) Android/PC v1.18.

i've experienced something similar. it won't work going back in time. it seems like the saves have some time stamping and then it won't register going back.
