Have just found you! I was literally bent in pain, unable to straighten, and hardly able to move after putting out my lower back: tried this exercise (even though I had only one ball and no mat (used a folded bedspread)!) and seriously, 15 minutes later I am upright!!! All those muscles that had seized up are relaxed again. I cannot believe it!! The pain has not gone away 100% but I can see I will be able to get back to normal quickly! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! (And I almost never write on SOME!)
Thanky you for your help🙏🏽For the first in five years I have the tiniest feeling of relaxation in my right SI joint and can do a little bit of painfree TRE trembling. 🥰
Did this last night and for the first time in ages I didn't have a painful back when I woke up! Still a little stiff but no actual pain. I'm 43 and thought that it just must be part of getting older but maybe it doesn't have to be?? Thanks Sukie 🙂🙂
These are great, Sukie. Finally dropping in to view your channel :-) and I really love the tone and way you've organized them. Great information and portrayed so clearly in a way that's easy to follow. Thank you!
I ordered the pinky balls from Amazon not realizing they are the same size as tennis balls which I already had and had cut holes in for more give. I tried the pinky balls while laying on my mattress and found it to be too painful for my mid back. So I balled up two pairs of thick wool socks and they are soft enough to where it feels good. So overall it seems like a great routine I can do to improve my wellbeing. Thank you!
Would regular tennis balls be okay? I need this so bad..back pain for 45 years despite surgeries and medications. Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❣️
I did this en the evening and first time after years I wake up without backpain This and Pain free at any age movements before bed did wonders for me. I learned gentle movements without forcing. You are giving so much free knowledge. It's amazing.. Maybe somday I can take also advanced courses. Thank you.
Wow, JP, that's excellent to hear! Thanks very much for telling me how well this worked for you. Would you mind me sharing your success with my community? I love to highlight people who are healing and feeling better 🙂
Does your coarse cover “ instability “ ? I had a 3 level fusion now my back hurts not only there but above fusion and …. My neck is TERRIBLE NOW !!! Will your coarse help me ??? I’m hanging on by a string !!! 12 years !!! Every treatment under the sun , 2 stem cell procedures , 2 prp treatments in every ligament, joints , nerve hydro dissection !!! Do you think you can help ? You seem very wise
It's a Pinky ball. There's a link in the description. Tennis balls are stiffer than the racket balls, which racket balls she said were too stiff. You would have to modify the tennis balls somehow to reduce stiffness in the tennis balls by a lot.
Hi Sukie, really enjoyed this exercise and the info very interesting about Myofascial Release. Can this type of release be done also with other parts of the body? Legs for example. My mother has constant pain in her legs and she uses one of those foam rollers but it does not seem to help. Maybe this type of slow gentle movements would be better?
The Pinky balls I bought were high bounce, the only ones available. They are really hard so not suitable for this exercise. Perhaps the specification of the pinky balls has changed, so can you recommend something else? I am using small cubes of foam I made myself, but maybe there is something better.
Impossible to answer such a general question. There are a number of causes of back pain. I recommend consulting a physician if you experience this daily.
@@SukieBaxter Hi have been doing some work out but I think it's our mattress as the wife as the same so we change and it's better Thanks much for asking keep well..

Ligaments damage throughout to be specific! Fused from sacrum to L3 !!! Sooooo many questions; wish I could talk to you personally 😞
I’m learning so much!! Thank you for your generosity in doing all of your videos, you are a blessing!
Impeccably demonstrated! May I ask, what musical track do you use? So beautiful!
All excellent and helpful. Glad I found you.
In your other video you said that is most often about neurological pain. So this video is more for temporary releasing tension than fixing it.

Thanks for this video. Exactly what kind of ball did you use or what is it called? Can I use a Tennis ball instead?

Yes, this principle can be applied all over the body. You have sensory nerves everywhere!
Hi sukie. Can you pls suggest an alternative to pinky balls since they r not available eveywhere. Does a lacross ball do same ?
She says not to use lacrosse balld at the beginning of the video 0:33

Use tennis balls. I have been doing this for years and they work great :)
@@Sharing_thelight Thanks for the tip. I have found some softer sponge balls now. I tried tennis balls and it was agony for me.
Hi what causes back pain every morning when I get out of the bed Thanks..

Hey LaToya, the ones I use are linked in the description box under the video.
Kinda blew my mind how much better I felt after this.
Exactly the result I was looking for 😉
