Mercedes Sprinter Van Loose or Wobbly Rearview Mirror fix.

This is a fairly simple fix to drastically stiffen and reinforce the laughable Mercedes Sprinter rearview mount. This will enable you to add additional equipment to the area such as GPS, radar detectors or just reinforce the limp OEM mirror mount

How did you remove the plastic shroud around the mirror assembly? I can't see an obvious way to remove this on my 2022 VS30, I figure there have got to be some hidden clips somewhere.

It just unsnaps, the center piece is sort of hinged on the lower side and then the whole shroud just unsnaps fairly easily from the windshield. Hope this helps.
