One day in the far future we will be able to watch a wesbank modifieds race again with all original cars but today I plan on one day finding and buying Graham Duxbury's sapphire if its still around and restoring it
Wouldn't it be fabulous!!! Unfortunately, I know for a fact that the Sasol Sapphire has been cut up and destroyed. I had the opportunity to acquire the remnants of the Sapphire two years ago. Most suspension parts , brakes , diff and the 16" speedline wheels i think the wing was there as well. I then forwarded the parts to a gentleman who is in the process of building a replica with the authentic parts
@billyws Guess I'll have to make a tribute car oneday I've got posters of that car lol I find it to be one of the best looking wesbanks from that Era The history of wesbank modifeds can never die if we keep the cars alive Also I'm refering to specifically Graham Duxbury's sapphire and not sarels one
It's nice to watch any old Mazda Rotary race car being restored and not lost forever. You have me excited when you mention MFR parts…
good work! MFR for the win!!
Great to see good progress and craftmanship. Another legend coming back from the dead. Thanks
Thanks for the support! We're getting there!
Awesome 🙌
Thank you for watching!
