Feature for a digimon v-pet that that i would love to see is an actual official A-com from bandai which acts like a vital bracelet, so we can move around our digimon to anywhere to our devices cause you know, digital monster. It's in the name. I mean we do have something like w0rld but i would love to see them being done like the VB Arena as well. Another feature i would love to see is like in the Tamagotchi one where you can visit other people's device and let them interact, battling is cool and all but wouldn't it be cool to see them interact with your friends digimon? With mini games and such as well. The V-pet Color that i want: Grey, but any color is fine!
I'd love to see a Digimon V-Pet that has a functional real-world calendar, to give the game support for lil events on holidays, or maybe change up the available eggs/roster depending on what season it is in real-world time. I think that'd be a fun way to add some longevity to a V-Pet.
I know it’s a little sad, but the most wanted feature I can think of is having an option to stop the screen from shutting off on all the newer pets. I love the way they used to be. And I understand that now with backlit screens they use up more power, but just let me have the option to be able to look over and see my little guy doing his thing without having to press a button! That’s one of the greatest joys of having a virtual pet!
I'd like them to add a happiness mechanic like they have on Tamagotchis. Having a non-combat focused/adjacent factor in care would make it feel more immersive and pet-like, which was always the main draw for me
As a lifelong Tamagotchi fan, my most wanted feature for Digimon to implement is accessories! Being able to put a cute little hat on my Agumon or a bowtie on my Betamon would just add to the customization and personal feel of the vpets! A runner up would be for them to bring back nicknames but... the cute hats... they call me... good luck to everyone!!!
@@KiraSlith thats very much not the same :') but i do love the way digimon vpets can be customized! it was definitely not purposeful but the way the cage piece and buttons can be swapped out is very cool
I would love to see more progression based quest stuff like the X, but with fun cosmetic unlocks like accessories or items for the digimon to use when training. Then maybe a catalogue where you can tick off the items you've got, just to give more of a reason to come back after running the device a few times
It's not really a feature per se, but I'd really like to see the longer life cycles of the OG vpets return. I find it a bit lame that my baby stage only sticks around for a measly 10 minutes, and it's difficult to feel attached to the other stages too with how quickly they feel like they blaze past. I'd love another vpet with a couple of days to get attached to each stage before they go evolving up again.
What if we can get into the V-pet via USB type C and reprogram the whole thing to run that original way?! That would be epic! Also add English Translation!!
One aspect of the color Tamagotchis that I feel adds a lot of character is the ability to visit other locations and interact with the NPCs you meet there. Imagine if future color versions expanded the adventure mode from X in such a way that the "rest stops" actually reflected the stage's background design and your Digimon could run into a local Digimon NPC with some fun dialogue relating to the location, enemies up ahead, or some lore info about particular Digimon species. There could even be a chance of running into a Digimon merchant selling special RPG mode items. Just a thought!
i realllly want them to add some sort of breeding/generations mechanic to one of the digimon vpets OR the predator concept that the tamagotchi umino and marino have (it’s annoying but i rlly do think it brings more life into it)
Thank you for the review and also releasing the guide, it's been so long since I've played it and simple things I forgot. I ordered all 4 devices for me and my son and we've been having a blast
My most wanted feature in a standard vpet release would be integration with a digimon world game, kinda like the dreamcast's vmu, so you can take your digimon with you after turning off the game and make some progress while not playing. It would really bridge the gap between raising in game digimon and irl vpet digimon. I first thought of how cool that would be back in 2017 when I first played world next order and got my dm20
The only reason you don't see vPet console crossovers these days is because of financial fenagling on the Big 3s' side. Consoles don't typically ship their SDKs with a USB Accessory stack included, they'd rather charge companies for huge corporate or site licenses and force them to collaborate on all the fine details on the software and hardware. They're not even allowed to use optical solutions either, after Cubic Ninja broke open the 3DS for hackers. The cost and effort ToysForBob went through for Skylanders, despite using just simple generic NFC readers, and even building readers to each of the Big 3's platforms' individual specifications, was part of why they stopped making those.
The feature I want the most is a larger screen - I want the screen to take up the whole front of the brick (but still be recessed like it is). Put the buttons on the left side or even the bottom. Bigger screen for us blind people. With the rechargable battery one... that'd be much easier. The other feature... I'd love either a way to save/freeze each digimon once I've unlocked them or a Digimon evolution guide in the device that outlines which ones I've unlocked and haven't.
Would love to see Bandai claim this is a restart of the franchise and tell what the future has in store. A pendulum Color would be amazing along with official D1 tournaments. ❤
One of my favourite features of recent devices is the library. Completing it just gives me that blast of dopamine, and a reward for raising all the available 'mons. I hope that will be a consistent feature going forward, though I understand they were going for a more classic feel with this device.
I’d love to see cut-ins return, they’d look amazing in color. Also more rewards for beating the colosseum would be awesome. As an example maybe on the Pendulum Colors if/when they release you could raise the base roster PenZ Digimon as an alternate egg in color, with the fun limitations of the PenOG or whatever else the Pen Color would bring.
My most wanted feature for a traditional V-Pet is a on device item shop. Items a great with apps but being able to buy them on the device itself would be a huge game changer. Things like special food, maybe some kind of cosmetic customization and training equipment would be very nice. The Tamagotchi V3-V4, Pixel Chix or the VB Lab app item shop are good examples.
As someone who has been a lifelong Digimon fan, I'd never gotten into the vpets until a couple years ago. It quickly became my favorite obsession and a look back into my childhood where I had a couple tamagotchi growing up. Since rediscovering this hobby, especially through Digimon, I've fallen in love with it again. As someone who always loves dungeon crawling and dungeon exploring no matter what the game, my only "complaint" per se is the fact that once you clear the areas of the digivice and you have "won," gotten all the unlocks, etc etc, there's not much to do beyond that, and while I don't dislike the continuous raising and playing with my little v pets, I wish there was some feature like an endless mode or an endless area or dungeon you could just keep doing forever that would either change each time you ran it or just provide new challenges for you to keep tackling. I have a lot of completed digivices now, completed the library and completed every area, but now I'm sitting here like "welp, what else is there to do?" Idk, I don't mind just the constant raising, but I would like just one more exploration or battle mode that you could do ad infinitum once you've completed the main areas/quest line of the digivice
That Grey do be looking nice. 👀 Honestly, I'd love more sprawling evo lines and egg unlocking similar to the v20th but with the sheer magnitude of the Pendulum devices. But if that doesn't count as a "new" feature, I think more involved exploration would be cool. Actually exploring one of the islands in the digital world, even if it's a simplistic map-filling mode like the Dragon Quest Slime vpets, it'd just be nice to bond with your digimon having unique experiences with them. :)
My most wanted feature is probably bringing back items/food/accessories from the iC and having weight play a role in evolution, like the twins had burpmon Would also love 32x32 screens with big sprites again AND close ups on the big screen, i just feel like that looks so much cooler than 16x16 lol, some sprites (particularly x forms) look insanely messy and unrecognizable being squished into that size
Just got back into digimon after rewatching the first 2 seasons of Adventures, I've been watching your videos and getting reaquainted with the new V pets, while i wait for my Pen Z, and X v2, in the mail. One thing that is majorly needed is fresh new take on the V pet, with a 3" screen, updated sprites, wifi, so you can fully input battle, and connect with people from all around the world to catch train, raise and Jogress your digimon from home. Tech has come a long way in 25 years and color is a great addition but there's so much more they could do upgrade the v pet world
I do realise that we can do a portion of this with digimon world, and the A com, I've actually got the a com from angry pearl on the way. But there's lots of people that wouldn't take that route if digimon updated there whole digivice, even with the increased price tag I believe they could come back swinging, imagine a 720-1080p 3 inch screen, with a totale redone digipet that is fully intuitive and controlled by ai, updated battles and digital world that you can meet your friends battle catch, and raise your digimon while doing raids, and huge multiple person mega digimon boss battles for xp, bits aswell as cosmetic items for your digi tamer..
Honestly I would love more customization options for the V-pets. Things like nicknames, and as one user mentioned accessories would be amazing! Especially since in the mainline Pokemon games your team feels incredibly personal and your own. I would love to have that feeling with the Digimon virtual pet series where you can raise stats like happiness to make you feel more attached to your Digimon!
Having something that incentivizes going to different/busy places with your digimon. Something along the lines of the 3ds streetpass. Being able to receive eggs and automatically battling others by just passing by.
I've been using Digimon Vpets for years and I am happy to see color and USB-C charging. What I would really like as a future feature is a change to the game play, like what they did with the X and Pendulum. Something new but nothing crazy, giving us a bit more to do with our v-pets.
Excuse me, my English is not so good. I think it's just fantastic that you don't have to use a flashlight in the evening but can see the screen. I also think it's absolutely cool that there is no more battery change. I grew up with Tamagotchis and Vpets and just like this nostalgia with a touch of modernity. Nice Video 😊
Man with color no longer being a choice for a feature, I’d have to say having data transferable through the charging port. That way we could have easier connections to online vpet battles. It would be so cool to raise them and battle online with having to have extra things. Just the vpet and a cord. But honestly I’m so excited about it just being in color. With Digimon world next order having the vpet in color, I thought it was time this generation had color vpets as well. Moving into a new era of Digimon and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
I would love to see de-digivolution on a traditional vpet. I think that would blow wide open so many different possibilities for more branching digivolution trees, hidden digimon, and a reason to keep one going rather than just abandoning it and waiting for it to die before it can be fun again.
Congratulations, you have won your choice of Digital Monster Color! To claim the prize, you can message me on Discord (humulos#3000), Reddit (u/thehumulos) or Twitter (@humulos) and we'll coordinate from there. If you don't have any of those communication methods, you can also use the feedback form here to reach my email: humulos.com/digimon/about/
My most wanted feature for a traditional V-Pet is probably the ability to actually be friends with your Digimon. Maybe you could play minigames with it to purchase extra backgrounds or some kind of furniture for your Digimon, or maybe even just little hats for them. Let us pet them or really interact with them in any more positive way. I got my first V-Pet that I've had in years a couple weeks ago (the Purple-Silver X2) and have been loving it but I can't help but wish the Digimon felt more like a friend than a battle machine that I'm raising that barely even acknowledges I'm taking care of it lol, I guess kinda like how in the anime they're all friends and are treated as companions rather than machines you train to fight. I want to show my Digimon I love it, lol. I was really wanting the color device when I saw it, but the prices I could find was way too steep for me so I settled for the X2, so maybe this is my chance! Thanks for all guides it's been helping me a ton with my recent X2 device :)
Something like you go on quests with your digimon to reach different locations. And each location has a different egg with different evolutions. Like on a map you pick a location, do different things to finish the quest and so on~
A feature I'd like to see them try again with the Digital Monster Virtual Pets would be the Plate Charge that the Digivice IC had, that could give you additional items, or maybe they could unlock hidden battles. I think the Digimon Accelerator used a similar feature too if I recall correctly.
a full on RPG! I remember seeing a mock up of what a Vpet with rpg elements would look like, you'd choose classes, customize your partner and I assume thr raising aspect would still work the same. That would be a dream come true. Ona simpler note, adding the feature to take care of you Digimon on the BE would be really neat! also, since we already have the Dim I'd love for it to be like the Tamagotchi Smart where it adds more characters and other features like clothes. A Pokemon Ammie like feature would also be neat.
I would love to see a reworked fight system. One with like an attack pool where you can choose 2 attacks from and learn to your partner based on what Digimon it is and his training. With some new animations and effects ! :D
I feel like for a good pocket monster thing I always wanted some type of story I know that like imposible with the screen and how small it is but a basic story would just feel good and i feel like it would intice more people to come and try digimon and fall in love with it like how me and many other people have. It would just open it up to so many more people. but thank you for listing to my ted talk
humulomon, I am so happy for you that your channel is flourishing. You deserve it for all the things you do for the Digimon community. Here's hoping your channel grows even bigger!
My most wanted feature is digivolution blockers. You can block some potential digivolution line. You can't unlocked this feature immediately necessarily, it may be only unlockable once you achieve a certain amount of digivolution or after finishing the quest mode a cretain amount of times.
I've always loved the idea that a digimon raised by you became what it is because of you instead of something as linear as only three lines in the end, so I would like something like digimon world where there's a lot of things into account like stats, locations or actions and maybe something else all together that affects evolution different like the d scanner barcode reader or the accel scanner
man this is a really big step for the digimon v pets with it being in colour and having a recargeable battery. if there is one thing i would love to see in the future is more connectability to other digimon media like games or apps on computers, but all in all i am really happy that we have them in colour :)❤
I’d love to see the closeups from the DMX/PenZ make a return! Or, adjustable evo times (toggle between DMOG speeds and DM20 speeds, makes raising for tourneys easier 👀)
I think most of my wanted features have already been brought up, but I'm just gonna say them anyway. - Accessories. It's a functionally useless feature, but there's something fun abt your creature wearing a hat or a bow. - Online/App functions. I don't know a lot of people IRL who have V-Pets, so internet would be a boon for actually playing with others. - Expanded rosters. The classic lineups are great, but I'd like to see some surprises again.
I would like an expansion on the amount of monsters you can store at once. I love the ability to fully grow maxed out mons and store them away as a permanent part of the device while raising new ones.
I am a bit strange so I love the idea of an integrated v-pet community in the device, such as more D-1 granpix, a more advanced adventure mode like the dragon quest slime pet, and bringing back the pixel art competitions for digimon and could be used to create a new device! Keep up the amazing content dude!
A feature I would love is a Bluetooth feature where you can send your mon to an app kinda like we have now but with charming mini games and a colosseum for tournaments then you transfer back to the vpet for training...whether it's walking based or whatever the training may be but not the kinds from the vital bracelet
I just really want Mervamon on one of these coloured v-pets. That is the best digimon design I have ever seen since Angewomon! For feature wise I want Bandai Namco to make a official watch holder like on Next Order just because it looks really cool!
I'd love to see that barcode scanning feature to make a return. I love the idea of being able to LARP the Digimon Frontiers thing by scanning the underside of your wrist. Not to mention that barcodes are available freely just about everywhere, so you don't have to invest in those plates the Accel and IC had.
I only got into Vpets about a year ago, but I had a Digivice D'Tector and one thing I'd love to see is a "deeper" quest mode like the D'Tector had: the DMX had a cool quest mode but once you finish it there's really nothing else to do in it other than using certain areas as training fodder. I don't want something crazy, just adding a choice between which zones you want to tackle first, making them something that you complete with time and/or some other mechanic (D'Tector had this easy with the pedometer) and not just a B Button mash for the couple minutes it takes to do all the zone battles in one sitting, and also making some of them actually difficult so it matters what type of Digimon you are bringing in (incentivizing raising different Digimon)...
One feature I would like to see is what they did with the Vital Bracelet Series. A way to add new Digimon to your device via SD cards or something like that
My most wanted feature? I'd love the idea of being able raise different stats and make them matter more. Think of it as IV or EV points. Make Training raise not just the Strength hearts but also maybe a second invisible strength stat that doesn''t have a limit to add one more layer of progress feeling to the V-Pets, but just in a small capacity, like the Tamagotchi Connection V4 and 5 having three different stats and those deciding the next tama you get.
i think it would be super awesome if they started making the devices compatible with future devices, as in maybe start with a new device in 2023/24 that would be open in design thats able to trade up so you can keep all your favorites on one device. or maybe add more save slots to keep more digimon. Great video!
Woah, a Pendulum Color?! That would be amazing. Kinda hoping to get the V5 if/when it comes out. Kinda regretting that I didn't order a V1 since I love Tyrannomon... I think being able to have portable devices that link up to a desktop program like in the original lore would be awesome for a new v-pet.
The feature I would love to see added to these would be Wi-Fi battles. Even if it required connection via a companion app and Bluetooth, it would be something I feel the Digimon community would go crazy for. I love that this video came out the day I got my D20. Had my daughter help clean up Digi-poop all day.
I think an "idling activity" would be a cool feature. You could choose 1 of 3 activities and the Mon would continually do a 2 or 4 frame animation to indefinitely perform said activity until you end it. Even if there's no purpose other than to just imagine your Mon doing something other than just pacing, I think it'd be a cool little feature just for the sake of having more animations.
I'd like to see adventure mode in which you digimon travels around a file island on it's own. This mode could have random item spawns and random Hostile and non-hostile digimon spawns based on the region. The background of the device could have a scrolling effect to show the movement.
Honestly one thing I’d like too see in the more traditional vpets is the training of specific stats, similar to the be, but with a limited amount of point distribution so customization is more personalized.
Definitely would love what's going on with the Digimon COLOR so far + NFC capabilities. Not only would it be more convenient to connect and battle but it opens up the whole Online realm. We could have an app or website for more traditional Digimon Vpets that the Vital Bracelets got.
I think a way to view care mistakes would be nice. I've also been wanting a way to deny random encounters. They can get very annoying, especially when my Digimon finds one and I just have to wait it out so they don't level up past what I need them to be at for a specific evolution.
Oh man these are awesome! I think my most wanted feature would just be a more detailed stat screen where you could view your digimon’s power, care mistakes, successful training per evolution stage, etc. I always end up writing stuff down in a note pad and I wish the device showed you all that instead.
I think my most wanted feature would be the ability to connect to all past devices (within reason). It would be cool to connect to both two and three prong docks. It always annoyed me that they did both.
I’d just love to see more unlocks as you complete the roster and do tournament battles, that could be unique eggs, backgrounds or even set pieces that your digimon could interact with. Imagine unlocking new foods like bread or mushrooms which could change the way you can raise your V-Pet. Maybe certain food can be favoured for one specific digimon over another. Probably another thing I’d like to see is some way the battle system can be less….RNG based? Having more input to determine the outcome of the battle or being able to increase the stats of the digimon and/or apply some more strategy would be really nice. A little bit like how the DMX did it, but with more input and visible stats like we have in Pokémon/Digimon World games. Lastly, DMC to DMC connection only seems restrictive. I really like the idea of cross platform and cross device connection. Maybe this is a stretch, but having the ability to connect your VPet to a digimon console or PC game would be really awesome. Send it from the digivice and see your lil guy in the console or PC game doing mini games or battling or being able to raise them even further.
I would really love to have a game I play with my digimon. Battles are awesome, but they can get a little formulaic… I remember I had the mothra tamagotchi and you had to make it happy by playing games with it, and it was really fun. I think more “tamer to mon” interaction would be cool. I also would like to see a device that has every roster combined on it but it’ll never happen. And finally, MORE TRANSLUCENT PETS THEY LOOK HYPE!
One new features I would like implimented as a normal guy is to be able to bring your past digimons on the next versions because what if you spent a lot of time training your VPet just for another device to come out and now the process repeats itself again and again
I'd love to see a v-pet with a similar adventure mode to the digivices, going across a whole island, with more unlocks. Loving the colors on these sprites though, and having the device be rechargeable is honestly a godsend.
A vpet with graphics better than the typical 8 bit sprites we have (maybe similar to the vital bracelet?) plus a mandatory backlight would be a dream come true, along with bluetooth connectivity and an arena app with a tamer rank set up that affects the vpet itself (maybe with new egg unlocks, backgrounds, etc.)
It would be awesome if the Library and the dual raising were back for future instances, those little interactions between the partners in glorious color :3
Ive been a lifelong digimon fan (vpet fan for only a few years tho) and my one change actually comes from the VBB. I like the ability to see future digivolution requirements, it is such a huge stress reliever and time saver!
I would love it if they brought back the adventure modes from the anime tie in digivices. Accessories would also be nice. What I want most of all is an updated D-terminal. I thought it was a great idea that wasn’t fully utilized. It could be a storage unit, an expanded adventure mode, or a digimon farm like in the digimon story games.
Iwould wish that a vpet would be announced with all the good aspects of various previous vpets. Like quest mode, multiple eggs, raising two digimon at a time, jogress, freezer, backup, digimon list, battle input, and to totally enter fantasy territory wifi battles and tournaments. :)
I want big, big rosters that dig deep into Digimon lore. I know the DM20 and Pen20 are anniversary devices, but it's still a little annoying going to more modern devices with such smaller rosters and the consumerist pressure to have to buy all the colors to get all the monsters out there.
I would like to see some sort of season system so you can have more experiences with your Mon like special mini-games or battles depending on the time of year or time in their life cycle. I think it would look great with the color backgrounds. I also would like the level system from the X to return and influence evolutions, or just evolution influenced by what Mon you battle which would be great. A quest mode, which once fully unlocked, would make it easier to go for specific evolutions with an interactive map. More mini-games to interact with your Mon in general, love the happy little sprites. I love the Digimon Color. I wish Bandai would make Digimon more accessible. It is what it is. Thanks to you and the community!
Bandai really could add a better connectivity to their newer pets, we're done with the original DM and they should leave them for releases like this one: special releases with different features, and the color ver. really is a nice spin. But for the future pets and mainly thinking about the Vital Bracelet format, connecting through bluetooth with the app should be a basic feature, the NFC takes forever (mainly with the new laggy app). And when it comes to the DMs, a future spin of the color version could have communications with something more interactive like Tata Town or the fanmade w0rld game. Bandai has the means to do it.
I dont mind app connectivity, but I wont want them dependent on apps, like the vital bracelets apparently have a large chunk of features tied to its app. With the speed that Bandai goes through Digimon phone games and mmos and just content in general, I really dont trust something tied to an app for major features to be long lasting and essentially turning your device into a paper weight once they drop support.
I think something added I'd like to see is some degree of Tamer customisation. An avatar representation would be neat or just some way in general to interact with your dude above the simple 'train' them.
Honestly, as nice as the color is, I can take it or leave it What absolutely does this for me is the LIGHT I love the idea of being able to just reach over and play with this without worrying about turning on a light or using my phone to illuminate it
I was going to say online connectivity at first but then I thought about a physically customizable V-Pet. For example, you could swap out parts like the frame and the buttons to make it look how you want.
I would like to see them make a VPet that has NFC or bluetooth compatability with a proper app that is similar to the Tamagotchi Meets app, the original VB lab, or the Digimon Tamers US D-Power Digivice PC game. Where you can send your digimon to the app and interact with other players and recieve new items or evolve into mons that are necessarly available on the device by itself. A nice little hub world with a arena to battle others in, lab for backing up Digimon in, an area where you can meet other players and offer to jogress with them if both parties want too, shoppong are where you can buy new items and backgrounds whicj can be sent back to the device itself. I feel like Digimon has infinite potential but Bandai just doesn't see it or doesn't care.
I would love to see a DIM card style system for a more traditional style vpet. The ability to use one device but load the roster of your choice seems like a no brainer of an idea. Thanks for the video!
I want a new feature that the device would have wireless battles or wifi battles to a random battle through settings, or having the ability to change language from Japanese to English and vise versa on the device would be cool.
Im on a Tamagotchi Connection kick right now and love the mid gens shop functions, gifting, connecting not to fight but to play and enjoy. Itd be fun and make raising our sweet digimon more personal!
I think I'd want potty training. It's a thing you can do on Tamagotchi I believe. You use the bathroom icon just as they're about to go and eventually they'll just start automatically cleaning up. It just feels really weird that you can have mega level digimon that are super humanoid and still dropping a dookie on the floor. That would work best for later devices that make small noises when they poop. Or rather than potty training, we could add a shop that we uses currency earned from battles to buy items, and the port-a-potty from Digimon World could be an item that just.. automatically cleans up a poop if you have it in your inventory.
A thing I would like to return/exist would be some kind of station or hub world device like some tamagotchis had back in the day. A seperate bigger device, that can store a certain number of pets, we raised on the main device just sounds too cool to me. Maybe the stored pets could interact with each other or play new games, get items and so on… also you would have the ability to „save progress“ and raise a new mon if you feel like it, without abandoning the old one.
I honestly wouldn't mind the dim concept paired with a standard vpet instead of the vital bracelet. Just having a way to expand your total roster would give a single device so much more utility, whether that's expanding through a dim or even using the USBC as data transfer!
Still wild to see this device existing. April last year I colorized some X-Antibody Digimon sprites from the Digimon X for fun and practice at sprite art readability, imagine my surprise when this was announced! Honestly probably the main thing that I'd like is online connectivity. I don't know anyone near me who's into Digimon virtual pets, so being able to get some of the unlockable content by battling online, etc. would be really handy. Would also be nice if they could use that to allow people to patch their devices, like say if their rosters got swapped around somehow. You know, in that completely hypothetical scenario that didn't keep me from getting the devices I ordered >.>
I think the coolest feature they could add would be the ability to put your vital bracelets dims into the brick and train them them on the digimon x style!
The feature I would like to see is the ability to connect to the internet and download new eggs with new rosters onto the device for free. While someone inevitably will exploit it, every non-vital bracelet v-pet, that I'm aware of at least, sets the user into a pre-determined order from a legit standpoint once the first egg is generated.
I missed out on my preorder when they sold out, was ecstatic when they announced the color though. Hope selling out means they've got a better color model in the works.
I am a simple man, and i here just hoping that the next iteration of the brick is a more capable version 20th with color, I find it more fun to have different evolution lines and also love the mini-games for training so I wish there were more minigames to interact with the toy, like timing, so you only have to feed him once or more involved battles, I Like to interact with my V-pet thats why the Pen 20th has been peak for me. Also, Seing the brick on color is soooo breathtaking, it is so sad i missed the pre-order on these.
Bluetooth connection with a partner app would be amazing! Also some way to interact more with your mon like praising or like petting them would be the best
not to run you outta business, but a feature I've always wanted is a section with evolution requirements on the device, like the vital bracelet be. but I was thinking it would be cool if it worked more like the requirements section in the digimon world games, where as you level up or do certain things a new requirement will unlock, so you don't see everything straight away. it may take several playthroughs before you've got fleshed out requirement screens. and then like cyanics mod for the BE that highlights which Evo you're on track for (as long as all of the requirements are unlocked) something like that would be super cool, I love it on my BE. thanks for this giveaway!
A feature I’d love to see in this device specifically is the menopad/book with the roster of mons you’ve managed to evo into..miss this feature from the X series. Other than that I wish we had more accessories not just internal but external too! I’d love to be able to have custom prints or colors for my device to go along with my favorite digimons. Love the work you do! Thanks for sharing! :)
as far as features id love to see some kind of internet connectivity. it would be nice if people didn't have to turn to community alternatives to add this cool thing.
Id love a kind of mix between the bracelets and traditional devices. I like the fact that the vital bracelets get new digimon every couple of months but i like the raising and quest aspects of the digimon Xs. I need to feed my digimon and watch them POOP!
I don't know how possible it would be, but I'd like to see some sort of house decoration feature, similar to the new fat tamagotchis. But if that's too much, then maybe some other minigames would be neat.
I missed out on this because I was waiting for a friend to jump in on it with me. I think an ability to download exclusive Digimon not already on the device would be cool. Similar to old Pokémon games where you’d have to goto special events with your cartridge and plug into something. I know nfts are a thing but plugging into a larger machine was so much more exciting
My most wanted feature on a V-Pet would be an extended moveset like we had for Digimon World/ World Next Order. Just to spice up the adventure mode and to actually have the ability to find mons that give your buddy a chance to learn new moves. Something like that would spruce it up to give the device more longevity and character growth! Still an amazing device and since I pre-ordered the version 1 (Red) and sad to miss out on the version 2, I would choose the version 2 (White)! Thanks again dude for being awesome! 💪🌹
I think the white device looks pretty cool. When I'm running my Digimon V-pets I'm always worried about evolution timers, I go to the gym almost very day and every two weeks I go visit family so I usually freeze/nap my digimons and because of that I'm not sure when some of my digimon will evolve. Another thing I could like is a skill system on battles similar to the VB BE.
The giveaway has ended! Look out for more in the future.
I wish to get one but still don't have one, they pretty expensive and can't find any store that sell Digivice😢, hope I get lucky
I can’t believe I’m 90 already. It’s been a good run. Proud to be part of this community with all you other 90 year olds.
90?!
Bandai should hire you.
@@Lyte-X unfortunately, they wont, Bandai love Bad Ideas, and they hate good ideas
They had accessories on the Digimon iC Burst. Not sure if it was on the regular ic but I know it’s on burst. I had a seadramon with a silk top hat!
@@chaocobojun2098 It was on the regular iC too! Different accessories between the versions too
DIGIMON Data Squad devices had this! Was actually pretty neat
You can always accessorize the digivice itself.
I love this idea!!
The rechargeable factor is the biggest selling point, but wifi updates would be amazing.
Enter Wi-Fi password using three buttons only
@@muhammadtarmizibinkamarudd9482I did it on the uni it's not too bad as long as it scrolls really fast when you hold down the button.
Thats a really good one, can agree.
The art book that just came out talks about them making a pendulum color and the rest of the Digimon originals if they sell well :-)
One of my favourite features of recent devices is the library.
I have a lot of completed digivices now, completed the library and completed every area, but now I'm sitting here like "welp, what else is there to do?"
Idk, I don't mind just the constant raising, but I would like just one more exploration or battle mode that you could do ad infinitum once you've completed the main areas/quest line of the digivice
Maybe there could be a rudimentary stats system. Actually, kind of like how they had it in either pen prog or Pen X, I'd love to see that come back.
My most wanted feature is probably bringing back items/food/accessories from the iC and having weight play a role in evolution, like the twins had burpmon
Would also love 32x32 screens with big sprites again AND close ups on the big screen, i just feel like that looks so much cooler than 16x16 lol, some sprites (particularly x forms) look insanely messy and unrecognizable being squished into that size

You just describe a tamagotchi
@@lucamibel ok
Spitting facts when it comes to Omegamon Alter-S. Personally, I love the Greymon being the cannon and the Wolf being the Sword.
man this is a really big step for the digimon v pets with it being in colour and having a recargeable battery.
if there is one thing i would love to see in the future is more connectability to other digimon media like games or apps on computers, but all in all i am really happy that we have them in colour :)❤
A way to add new Digimon to your device via SD cards or something like that
honestly the most exciting thing is the idea of them making the pendulum colors!
Same
Definitely would love what's going on with the Digimon COLOR so far + NFC capabilities.
Honestly, as nice as the color is, I can take it or leave it
What absolutely does this for me is the LIGHT
I love the idea of being able to just reach over and play with this without worrying about turning on a light or using my phone to illuminate it
I was going to say online connectivity at first but then I thought about a physically customizable V-Pet.
A cool feature would be the capability to use the Digimon you raised for some future Digimon games on PS5/PC. That would be awesome.
I think the coolest feature they could add would be the ability to put your vital bracelets dims into the brick and train them them on the digimon x style!
The Pendulum X needs its own revival. I love how overengineered the XAI indicator is and I miss the larger sprites.
Also some way to interact more with your mon like praising or like petting them would be the best
not to run you outta business, but a feature I've always wanted is a section with evolution requirements on the device, like the vital bracelet be. but I was thinking it would be cool if it worked more like the requirements section in the digimon world games, where as you level up or do certain things a new requirement will unlock, so you don't see everything straight away. it may take several playthroughs before you've got fleshed out requirement screens.
and then like cyanics mod for the BE that highlights which Evo you're on track for (as long as all of the requirements are unlocked)
something like that would be super cool, I love it on my BE.
thanks for this giveaway!
A language option on the device instead of needing separate international releases would be pretty neat.
yeah man, imagine digimon vpets but with like mushiking fighting principles, it doesnt have to be complicated
