Cinimin toast crunch. I really enjoyed the raising mechanics of the original pendulum. If you could always shake megahits then you could use pills and training to refill all the DP. I will always like a device that has a ton of eggs and mons on it. I like the ability to raise all sorts of different mons. Knowing that i could get almost whatever i want on just 1 or 2 devices is really convenient. I still hope for another pen 20 release someday.
You weren't kidding when you said this is in-depth! You really are the best Digimon channel on TH-cam! Also, I really love these new Pendulum Colors. Hopefully Bandai keeps at this and makes newer and better colorized V-pets.
Tip for all: Be mindful of the time you first open and hatch your Digitama. Because if you do this at 6:30pm, almost all your evolutions will happen at 6:30am before you're awake, and it can certainly spoil the whole experience a bit...
The only pendulum I've owned so far has been the Nature Spirits Pen Z, and a difference I'm looking forward to with the Pen Color are not having random events that without fail go off every time you start to lay down for a nap. So if you ever set it out of reach and lay down for a nap, it will NAG YOU FOR ETERNITY until you get up and respond to that event. Awesome video btw, always love hearing all your thoughts on every device, and I will never complain about the length of your videos. Make them 5 hours, I don't care! The more the better! Edit: My favorite cereal is half-and-half mixture of honey nut Cheerios and regular Cheerios lmao.
I'm excited to see what the other three versions have in terms of roster. While I love the Pendulum, their rosters haven't always been my favorite. Having the guest stars and extra Digimon really does a lot for me.
My predictions for the extra line for wind guardians is ryudamon. Metal empire will be dorumon. Virus busters will be gammamon. I would love to see commandramon line on metal empire but ive read seekers and ryuda and doru have much more story relevance.

The original Pendulums were charming, too, because there's a lot of little nuances the modern devices don't have. If I remember correctly, each Digimon was more individualized, and the original Pendulum had these little secret raising tricks. Lots of it was lost due to poor documentation on the part of Bandai/WiZ. Gives it an air of mystery and realism somehow.
I haven't had a digimon device since I was a child. The color is selling me on this. OH and they're always in English? That's cool. I enjoy Lucky Charms.

the sounds for the DMC were different too. higher in pitch. i think the issue lies in the software providing the sound instead of feeding info directly to the speaker
My original Pendulum became more or less unplayable because the clacker stopped registering shakes which made me really sad, so I'm glad this time the shake counter is (presumably) more robust.
Adding the fake clicking in the new Pen Cs is so silly to think about, but also sooo important. Part of the nostalgia of the originals was that shaking sound. Times have changed, tech has advanced, but I'm really happy they kept the sound for us boomers! 😆

I was boring and bought a Ver 3. instead. I still like the vibes of that roster, and Patamon's my favorite of the eight from Adventure. Still, might pick up Metal Empire or Virus Busters when they come out, so very interested in your feelings on the Pendulum.
If there's one thing that Ijust don't get how Bandai keeps messing it up, is the time t ogo to bed and wake up. Although 7 AM is fine for me now, why do they have to go to bed at 23:00 or 24:00? That's so late for me! Always have to mess wit hthe clock and cross my fingers, do a little prayer that my end of life digimon don't die, because I feel best when I wake up at around 7:30-8:00. Always have to freeze them so I can be there when they need me. That said, looking forward to the PenC. At the very least, the rosters are bigger, with more variety in them. And they just have a more slick look. Also happy to see that the battles between devices aren't decided by which is the Pendulum. Much better. I should try to run a PenOG again and see if I can keep up. especially during weekdays, when I have work that really keeps me busy. If I had one more complaint about the colour devices, it's the fact that the last stage digimon still haven't increased in number. Considering how much easier they are to raise, having more end goal digimon would've been perfect. Maybe I should go raise another DMX those are fun to do. As for PenZ. I think I'll follow up on that one and just reset them, never connecting them to other PenZs. That definitely makes the rosters more fun. EDIT: Cereal? I mostly eat sandwiches. Maybe I can just give a cereal a try again. I like the ones with chocolate paste inside. The tresor ones? As well as cinnamon toast crunch. I couldn't beat a Stage on both my devices, then spammed Vitamins and beat them next try, so my devices taught me wrong, and I would've assumed that was a thing for a long time probably. Technically the Z's have a bigger roster, but mostly filled by repeat Digimon. That said, the device series are different enough to where I personally wouldn't say you would want one or the other, there are benefits to both.

If angewomon is an available evolution on the color evolution, and I jogress connect it to deviwomon on nightmare soldiers, would I still get Mastemon on nightmare soldiers? I’m waiting for the pendulum color and the other one to release, but I can’t really afford to buy another pendulum color and I really want mastemon.
There wouldn't be a Jogress option on the Digivice, but you can always get an A-Com instead. Look up my video on connecting V-Pets to a computer for details

So these are not the Digimon Pendulum Ver.20th, that's a different device. On the Pendulum Ver.20th, Lopmon is indeed available. It is not available on the Digimon Pendulum Color.

Massive thank you for all your work - the evolution charts and the manuals. Awesome video. I quite like that Perfect evolution is difficult to achieve. I like that Ultimate evolution is easier than Perfect because it's easier to hold on to the 80% win rate once you have it. But the quest mode bothers me a bit - I have a Perfect level Digimon that more often than not will lose against another Perfect level... It doesn't feel quite balanced. I also miss those high quality animations that would happen in battle mode when your Digimon used its most powerful move.
I like to think of jogres as using the digimons dna/data not so much as a material just because a material in my brain is a consumed item so it wouldnt be usable after jogress

I quite like that Perfect evolution is difficult to achieve. I like that Ultimate evolution is easier than Perfect because it's easier to hold on to the 80% win rate once you have it.
But the quest mode bothers me a bit - I have a Perfect level Digimon that more often than not will lose against another Perfect level... It doesn't feel quite balanced. I also miss those high quality animations that would happen in battle mode when your Digimon used its most powerful move.
How does the Digimon strength and win rate determined? It will be a downside if it is all random coz training will be pointless.

I like to think of jogres as using the digimons dna/data not so much as a material just because a material in my brain is a consumed item so it wouldnt be usable after jogress
Your brain is correct, and that's exactly what happens when doing a Backup Jogress, the second Digimon is consumed.
