Yea, this laptop's $1100-$1200 msrp is kinda terrible but on sale its a steal. I just picked it up for $700.
I don't like SD card slot of newer type which card stick out of.
Even a very nice DELL XPS 9530 has one which is like what you showed.
Lenovo Ideapad it sticks out 2/3 of the length. Mean you must remove card to store, sometime take it out just to move.
HP ENVY 360 15 clicks in for storage. I am going with that.

Yes, it has. Just when you are downloading apps like chrome the temperature arrives to 61°C and the battery runs out in less than an hour
can you tell me please what are main drawbacks of Asus Creator Q530 and is it good for software development ?
The screen and processor are good. It's not good for gaming. but development. event some light editting is ok
Mine with the normal RTX 3050 with 4GB VRAM gives me more than 60 fps in medium graphics in Cyberpunk and it has a Ryzen 7 5800h, but why does that laptop give so few fps in games?

Q530 is better for content creators but other ones are good for gaming

@@flfar3445 the cpu is powerful, i9 13th gen. So it will be much better in that sense. Just not sure about the battery life.

Hey! So my boyfriend is trying to upgrade the ram on his ! Same model but his ram slot has a cover on it any ideas on how to take that off?we can’t find any videos on this exact model
You can pop off the cover, by kind of squeezing gently on the sides. There are these little clips that hold it in place on the sides on the motherboard.
Just take it off no problem but wear plastic gloves to prevent electric current

we are a bit sad about 3050 on this laptop. if you can wait. wait 2 month to get new laptops
you can upgrade past 24gb. I upgraded mine to 40

It can last only 1 to 2 hours in heavy tasks it was tested in regular usage, it's perfect for programming but for gaming, I can't recommend it

Asus mentioned that maximum ram size support is 24 GB? Do you know anything about it?

yeah 24GB in fine what about the 40GB upgrade ? I saw some Q & A section in best buy asus was mentioned if we upgrade more than 24 GB it causes some system unstable issues. But i saw some users installed 32 GB RAM to the SO-DIMM slot total with 40 GB and works fine@@chrispechous4489

@BinoshaTech The processor and oled are great for gaming, especially in this price range. Though being a studio GPU it isn't as good as the competition in various games
Laptop is hot garbage. 🗑 🔥 just bought this today. 1/29/2024 from Best Buy. Never in my life have a had the liberty to buy such sh*t! Returning it tomorrow and getting a different laptop. It sounds like a jet engine the whole time and it's so hot underneath it and on top of the keyboard.
This Laptop will break on anyone before a year if not worse half a year.

What's wrong with it? It's a 6gb 3050 on a device priced $700usd.
the only thing prevents me from buying this is 3050 which is too old for 2024. by the way i have seen your review for another model as well, i guess it was HP with 3050 (the one you keep repeating that has bad screen quality which i knew before watching) .... please stop saying what is OK and stop using same adjective. its annoying. anyway, i pass on this one as well. 3050 in 2024, is not ok for me

This laptop is trash. Please stay away. It can not even run my wife’s sims 4 game. Which is like one step above mincraft. Do not recommend.
It's not for gaming they even named it Creator
You should 100 percent be able to run both of those games. I run Final Fantasy 7 remake and Fallout 4 at max settings on this with no lag or overheating.

Overheats and shuts off immediately, repeatedly, and without warning when playing a game and charging at once. please give any solution please 🥲

@@BinoshaTech Hi, after so many try finally I find a solution , when I play the it will showing hibernating and it will off. after I turn off the hibernation using the Cmd now it's working. but I'm not sure this is the proper way to use. bcs when I play the game my CPU temperature will going to 86°. Is it okay for the laptop ?
