This is great- thanks. I use Pandora JAMMA, but my goto for TV is a miniPC and Batocera bootable external disk. I use XB360 controllers and Sinden light guns. Plug n play, minimum wires (vs IR light guns). But the more options the better, and I bought this :-) My main issue is the blur- terrible picture on these games! I want sharp and pixel perfect.
Unfortunately no... We need more people to ask 3a to add this to the new firmware updates, because it's quite ridiculous that we can't save our added games

Thanks 👍 The dragons lair arcade game is not possible on any pandora box, but there's a good psp port that might be compatible with this one if you add it. It definitely works on the pg3d / ex2 range of pandora systems.
How can I change the resolution on it for let’s say, a 1up? Is the power switch necessary and if so what’s the most direct link for one that works with this pandora box?
There are maybe 2-3 main resolutions to choose from but to change you need to hold down the settings button as you switch it on, or give it power. If it's for your 1up / can it just turns on with the power. easily solution is to use a power plug with a switch on it - you know for the outlet ?
@@TeamPandory Alright I got a power strip and the proper LCD converter and I’ve held down the settings button as I’ve powered it on multiple times and it still just flashing multiple colors on the 1up screen. Is there something I’m doing wrong? *Update* I plugged it into my television and was able to switch it between settings however the 1024 768 setting which I thought was the right one for the one for the 1up still causes the flashing. The pandora is functioning perfectly as far as I can tell.
You've already assumed two things that aren't exactly true. The pi4 can work out much more expensive considering you need to pay for the case, memory, PSU- especially when the pi4 is rarely seen at RRP nowadays. Pi4 is dog crap for psp, much slower than the pg3d or saga 4188, but is better for things like Amiga emulation. I've made a video about this - check raspberry pi alternatives. Right now a mini pc is much more attractive to get Vs either pi or pandora box, but the pi has the size advantage, the pandora an interesting UI to jump in and out of games, and the mini pc just wins in all other situations.

So whats the magic trick to have the gun games show up? I have Home Edition and Jamma. Both plugged in HDMI and still nothing shows up in the menu for gun games nor in the manual search.
Tried that….still nothing. I can’t imagine I am the only one this is happening to. Both boxes bought from 3A store. My only thought, is the light gun you plugged in somehow triggering it to pop up? I know your gun doesn’t work with it. But is it perhaps reading it enough that its doing something? Whole thing is really odd.
@@Fox7-s7w no, the only way to play those games is to use the search menu - that is, unless the firmware has been updated. 3A have totally taken out those games of search in CGA mode, too.
Exchanged my CX Family with the 10th Family. The only strange thing is that my coin button doesn't work ingame. When I go to the settings, the coin button lights on when pushed but when in game, the 2 player button gives a coin and activates player 2 at the same time...
Will check, but if it's on here, it'd probably be ps1. This doesn't have the power to push 3d polygonal arcade games. We tried killer instinct and Tekken tag and they fell flat on their faces.
Hi team Pandory, I wonder if you can help. I have the 10th edition in a cab.. I had it working,then when I turned it on i couldn't hear any music in the settings menu and when I try to select a game it enters me into the settings when I'm pressing the right button to select. Hey, thanks for the comment. It sounds like your cables or buttons are somehow incorrectly wired. Maybe come down the discord and show some photos as to what you have.

@@andreapinzauti5495 if it's the 10th, then yes... But there's a chance it won't work well. The psp emulator isn't set up well and we can't change settings.
They should release atleast a 128gb board with more games for PSP, N64, Dreamcast, Atomiswave, Naomi. There is no space in this version and only a couple of games for these new systems such a shame for this 10 year anniversary
One of my favorite games, which I've had problems with when running it on other emulation systems is Ketsui. Could you give it a go if you've got the chance at some point and see if that runs full speed in this version pls? If you could make a simple comment or short whenever you've got some time pls... 1944 the poop master! I have the same Dell monitor. You can rotate it the other way if you file off a little notch on the stand where the monitor mounts.
We tested kiarcade and Tekken tag arcade. No way on this box. Mortal Kombat 2 and 3 should be okay. If there are any games you want testing comment, I'll throw a video together showing how they perform
Better is subjective. It beats it out in DC Naomi atomiswave, but psp and overall experience with pandory installed the ex2 wins out. Stock... Neck and neck maybe.
@@Wizard66 Yup, latency just ruins a play session. Many emulator authors try their hardest to reduce the latency (which will always occur due to it being emulation) but it really makes a good product just a bit average.
I just got one. I love it. But it has a tendency to crash and reboot after exiting a game. Its not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if it didnt do that. 😂
This Pandora with light guns or minisforum pc with sinden?.... Pandora10th $300+ - minisforum + Sinden $539. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ solely for a light gun build on ALU. I already have Awsome saUCE v5 on it by USB Stick. Just need a light gun option, and this Pandora is the cheapest so far and the catalog of shooting games is ok.

Hey, welcome 🤗. Only the SD cards go Tate. I think they return to mame or fba defaults, that's why they're showing as vertical properly.

Pandora Box doesn't like Midway Arcade cabinets in general. They're that different from JAMMAs?
You mean in regards to volume ? We just need dip switches or access to SRAM files. If we can get either of them we can properly set the volume.

We can only really tell you about a CRT in CGA mode. We reviewed the JAMMA version a few weeks before this one.

You might need to hold in the settings button while turning on. The resolution may need to be on 1080p to see them, but don't quote me on that.

Doesn't the crt tube open the list of dreamcast, psp and atomiswave games?
If the video output is CGA via the JAMMA edge, these menus are hidden.

It's maybe too similar to be called an upgrade. But it depends on what you'd consider as an upgrade. Changing aspect ratio can be a huge turn on

Depends on the pandora box. The only one that had sharp pixels stock was the eSports (depends on game), and then the DX if you install pandorydx.

Yeah. Should be fine, but sometimes there may be a system that doesn't work with save.

Currently adding games DONT work on the JAMMA/CGA mode, but should be okay if you're using VGA/ HDMI mode. Check our other video on adding the games.

why is that you need to play pause and add coin on p2 to play? i dont like the free play just to make it work..
