Wow, nice original survivor!!! Correct parts for these such as carbs and air cleaners are so hard to come by!!! That is a real find!! Congrats!

Finley... TOO COOL!! I used to live in Commie Kalifornia. Back in the early 1980s I bought a very straight, rust free, non-running standard body Mustang Fastback... A super "sleeper". 1F02CXXXXXX. VERY much like this baby... 429CJ non-Ram Air. 6 code 4-speed. S-code 9 inch/31 splines/N-Case with 3:50 Trac-Lok. Flat hood, no console. A tach in the dash. No other options. Standard ginger vinyl interior and medium brown metallic paint. Stored it for several years at my parent's ranch. Never had the $$ or time, as I was going to college, then joined the USAF, to restore it. They pushed me to sell it off, move it off the ranch. Sorry I ever let that rare car go. Hope it's still out there!!! What a cool non-descript sleeper to meet up with at a stop light. :) Randy C0017A

That car is beautiful. I saw it before it left Colorado. Take care of it.

I think that car used to belong to a guy I knew- Mike. If its the same 429 out of Aurora, Co, I bet its his old car. He had a 67 Fairlane coupe as well, I hope he's alright. I used to drool over this car when it rolled up to the shop I worked at...never thought I'd see him let go of it.
