Would you do a 72 Cobra jet Mach Cleveland Air cond. 4 Speed ?
Are all your cars from Texas
Nice...
Do people really give you hell for not keeping them original? Crazy. Nothing I love more than a 60s fastback restomod
My cousin Jeff had a 69 mustang years ago, it was painted pearl white with a 302 and an automatic, he use to tell everybody that it was a Boss 302- he was a real douchebag- he still is!
I have a ‘72 Sprint Convertible and it is a beautiful car to drive. Turns heads wherever it goes. These years are long overdue for recognition. Next time I’m in TX, I’ll look you up!
Personally I wanna check out ur cars and meet you, I have a 1970 sportsroof in grabber blue ending a 2 and half yr restoration
Nice Finley. See you at MCACN, -Rick Ybarra-
Wish I could visit all the best 🇬🇧
Beautiful car, I really enjoyed our time with you and the car! This one is a true gem.
Beautiful Shelby! I'm gonna have to take you up on that offer for a ride in the Spring. Been meaning to come and see you guy.
No, thank you for saving America heritage.
The picture of the damaged internals of the BOSS 302 engine reveals this is a late 1969-release vehicle.
Wow, nice original survivor!!! Correct parts for these such as carbs and air cleaners are so hard to come by!!! That is a real find!! Congrats!
Man - as a high school kid who saw a lot of these things in the parking lot next to older Mustangs, I never really liked the looks of the "Big Body" Mustangs.... but the older I get, the more and more I like the body style of the 71-73 Stangs!! Especially the Sport Roof or Fastback bodies! Honestly, they are the only ones that seem to be affordable still..... thanks for doing what your do!! Enjoyed the video!
Gorgeous car ! On a side note from a total car GOOF here…….your video is 4:44. The HP of the 12-13 Boss cars. 😂😂😂 Carry on! 😁
Wow, glad that one got saved from the crusher!! She's a beauty now!!!
Very nice!!! Like it!! Love the color!
Way back in 1969 a Calypso Coral Boss 302 turned the corner at an intersection. That color is stunning in the daylight. A few years later I bought a 1970 Boss 302, medium metallic blue, 0F02G125461
lOVE IT.
My brother spent the summer of 1970 working for Dearborn Steel Tubing. They were contracted to Ford to take their cars around the country and Canada to display them at a traveling Ice Capades show that even did Toronto and Vancouver. He got to drive some seriously hot cars that summer. I've resented him ever since. 😅
My car,my build,my rules!!! Great job 👍👍 getting those cars back in action!!!
With a rare car like that I would go for a proper restoration and then enjoy driving it like how it was when new. Otherwise there is always the option of making a Boss 302 clone out of a much less valuable plain 1969 fastback and modifying it to one's own personal tastes.
The issue there is the rear quarter panel "scoops" ... which are on the "regular" Mustangs, but not present on the 1969 BOSS 302s.
Love the color.
OMGosh, regarding the Boss 429: I can't imagine trying to stuff an engine that was 5.50"(14.0cm) wider then the Boss 302 & 3.00"(7.6cm) wider then the 427FE into the Mustang engine bay w/ those ridiculous sheetmetal shock towers. Ford should've bit the bullet & made a front suspension similar to what GM did w/ the Camaro/ Firebird. There was room to work in w/ their 427/454/455's. I understand if you wanted to check the plug color on the #8 cylinder of the Boss 429 Mustang, it was... tedious. Thanks for the video, beautiful 302! Thanks for bringing it back from the rust.
What's the E stand for?
Legend has it the E stands for Eliminator.
@@jonathanmorrisey5771 Cool. Thanks
Your right about fixin' the car the way you wanted to be & the hell w/ everybody else thinks...super nice car all the way..
May I buy the 302 or the 351 🤔 , Happy Halloween 🎃
Beautiful motorcycles. I have owned every one of them that you spoke about. Except the Harley. All were super reliable and dependable. Except the Kawasaki triple of course. It wasn’t very practical. But nothing put a bigger smile on your face. And nothing sounded better. The CBX with aftermarket exhaust sounded pretty good. Almost like a Porsche turbo😁
So glad to hear you’re going to drive it. And enjoy it!. Restore it how you want it. Screw what everybody else is trying to tell you.Soooo tired of all these over restored muscle cars. Trailer queens and museum pieces. We need to see more of them on the road. Not inside a glass box!
Totally agree!!! If I had the money, I would buy that beauty and drive her just the way she is ❤
Beautiful Mustang. Reminds me of one a guy I went to high school with used to have. Awesome car! Thanks for posting!
I'd Flog this at the Dragstrip until it was puking oil out and knocking 😂
Beautiful Car! Drive the wheels off it and enjoy it!!!
Amazing!
The video doesn't do the Competition Orange Cougar justice.... An amazing piece of art to see and enjoy in person. Amazing car and an amazing place. Thank You Finley
Reddy Kilowatt , I remember him well
I love all your car's . Trying to win the lottery

This is definitely one special Cougar! What a gem!
Always like the cougars work at a lincoln mecury dealer in high school got to drive a few of them from 289 to 428 and even a panatera nice cars
Golly I love these old Cougars! And the 428 is just a beast laying in wait...😁
Right On Sir
Amazing find! The '71 Boss didn't get the love that the '69 and '70 302 or 429 Boss cars but the '71 Boss 351 held the Ford production car 1/4 time record right up until some of the more modern SC Cobra mustangs.
You failed to mention what city you are located in.
Mineral Wells, Texas. He mentioned it at the end of the video.
The cars you’re able to source are just amazing thank you so much for sharing!!
I had a 71 Cougar XR-7 rag top with a 351C 4V under the hood. I traded a 1970 Honda chopper for it. Man that old gal had some power! It barely survived a barn fire before I got it, melted all the plastic and really tore up the top and some of the interior. I managed to get most of that replaced and my neighbors barn caught fire knocking it right back to where I found it. Was really disheartening... I ended up selling it at a huge loss, but I think it ended up going to someone who actually had the money to restore it... I kinda miss that old ragtop, but at least I got to enjoy it for a short time.
Beautiful awesome car l love it Ford power forever baby a real Chevy and dodge killer the best never rest they just keep getting better has a Ford blu by you later
You should have added a couple of pictures of when you bought it great looking car and I am a local resident of Mineral Wells
