Hi Harald, Thank you for doing such a wonderful job documenting that amazing place. I was fortunate to have done that trek myself close to 20 years ago. Anything happens, just keep your head High Buddy. There is always a hope. We had this moments few time in my life. We took a loan from bank and they threatened to post notice in newspaper to auction our house. We were to loose everything thing in life, house, parents divorce, less food. You are just a phenomenal story teller! My life has been enhanced by your videos. It's weird times in the US at the moment, a lot of hate, distrust, crime, homelessness, etc. and yet you keep me grounded. Watching your videos allows me to see that there are still nice, considerate and wonderful people out there. Thanks
I feel the worst thing that has taken over the U.S is materialism. Fake lashes, fake nails, plastic surgery, starbucks, victoria secret... the more u have, the more u want and then u appreciate less in life. I am from Nepal and living in the U.S and sometimes, I find it funny how people take everything for granted and make materialism as their sole purpose in life.
That is not just the US. Americans in general (and their media) happen to be very vocal about their issues. But then again, they are also a self centered lot. Like only they have problems, or hell, only they exist in the world.

Thank you, people who can't travel can still explore the world, not just polished tourist spots with catchy music over it, but the real moments from real people of the world. For free. Thank you.
I rarely comment but what you do really means something to a lot of people.
Edit: Brazil/Favela series entertained me very, very well as well! (beach vendor day, favela tour & forest hike with the guys)

The hospitality, the scenery, the people just everything about this place I absolutely love. Only one word I can think to describe it all is simply, beautiful !
In Harold’s video, I often wish the natives could understand his little sarcasm and side jokes. The Nepalese are just amazing and makes it that much more entertaining.
Harald, You are an absolute legend!!! You are here showing the unfiltered, no nonsense and true face of Nepal where as other youtubers are all about getting those clicks and talking about scams and bad aspect which is out there in any countries. Can't wait for more of your contents. 🙏
Himalaya not only beautiful place but has beautiful people to be around.
The hospitality is beyond words and it seems communications are not a problem for foreigners at all as they speak english well. 💖💘🗻🏔⛰️
I really commend you. Despite saying that you weren’t feeling well you kept a great attitude with the locals and even offered to do physical labor help.
Awesome work Harold!
This video showcases typical Nepalese reception, for the people out there this is Nepal where you are welcomed whole-heartedly in every household no matter which part of Nepal you go. Bless my country and its countrymen.

Thank you Herald for visiting Nepal and promote our tourism . It feels great that people want to come here and explore .

Yours are one of the most wholesome vlogs.. there is nature ,adventure and so much human interaction . Love it . I spent 40 years of my life on Nepal and Bhutan border and I do understand the hardship these locals go thru yet always smiling and having fun . Amazing people .

Generally the Tibetan hospitality isn’t the same for Indians. Having been to ABC and Annapurna Circuit I can confirm that.

Finally Harald is back. Was desperately waiting to see your next series wandering along the Himalayas. Just fed up of city life in the developed Region and feel cool with your himalayan videos, just like your swim in the cold waters of Himalayas, the water which can be drunk directly even without purification . Hats off to Harald, who despite spending the luxurious life in the Europe and Australia is willingly happy to dedicate some moments of his life in the very difficult geography of the earth.
Legit Harald Rock Cafe...

Harald, what a lovely moment when you all sat next to the fire and just talked about marriage and drinking Nepal 🇳🇵tea 🍵 ❤️
I love it when Harald gets into conversation with the local people. That lady from the Hard Rock Cafe was so wonderful and with a great sense of humour. 😂

Hi Harald,
Thank you for doing such a wonderful job documenting that amazing place. I was fortunate to have done that trek myself close to 20 years ago. It quite possibly was one of my favourite experiences ever. The people and the views are truly magical! I was absolutely devastated when I learned of the earthquake and the destruction that all of the beautiful people there had to endure. Your Langtang series has brought back so many beautiful memories. Thank you.
To all the people of that region I wish you all peace and prosperity!
I was very fortunate to have met a Yeti on that trail. No joke. the locals told me that I was very lucky. I was and to this day I feel very fortunate to have been able to visit that magical place.
I wish you all the best!
Are yetis a problem for them? I'm sure they are pretty rare, but they are known to take livestock and worse.
Manbearpig?
What yeti? Aren't they just folklore legends ??
Yeti really? Or you had alot of rice beer?
You mean Yak not Yeti right?? 🤣
It's so refreshing to see such wonderful, kind-hearted people in such a relatively harsh place. I don't think I've seen one of these videos where a strangers or multiple strangers invited you into their homes.

My parents and myself are 2 days from losing the house due to mortgage arrears and watching your video just brought up our spirit from a all time low , thank you very much for that , was a great naturally lifting video , a lot of good energy from it
Sorry to hear this. Hopefully everything will be fine.
Sorry for your hardship

Anything happens, just keep your head High Buddy. There is always a hope. We had this moments few time in my life. We took a loan from bank and they threatened to post notice in newspaper to auction our house. We were to loose everything thing in life, house, parents divorce, less food. But, at the end the things started to get normal. We got jobs. And slowly paying of debt. Still we sometimes sleep empty stomach. So don't loose hope. Everything will be fine.
We reached out to our local councillor who helped a lot and todays eviction was put off for 60 days to sort the situation out , appreciate all the comments , got some breathing space

When i saw him in nepal making video I'm pround of myself to be nepali no matter we have lack of economy and underdevelopment we have beautiful heaven in our country.
