In many of the countries Harald visits, dogs are not shown any affection at all like we do in the West and is why they are always cautious when approached and then love it when they are petted because they are just not used to it. So many of them starve or die from car injuries etc and the ones that are owned have very hard lives, usually tied up and used as working dogs.
@@davidholgate123 lol, Nepal literally has an annual festival for dogs called Kukur Tihar when Nepalese worship them. That injured dog will surely get help from the locals.

This was one of my favorite Harld videos all time. It showed great people, adventure, food, funny times and animals. Well done, this is why I love TH-cam. What an epic adventure and can’t wait for the continuations!!!
This is going to be a great journey. We did the same trek in November, and it wasn't that cold. Sleeping was comfortable. Yes, we did have to sleep with our jackets on though. You, my friend are doing the right way. No prior arrangements, and stopping and exploring when you like. We were on tight schedule, so we didn't stop much. Kept marching along. We lunched at Bamboo forest and spent first night at Lama hotel. I kid you not, it was a gruesome hike. The remaining 3 days, I have no idea how my legs kept going. Watching you do the same trip is like I'm there again. Sorry to hear you had trouble with direction in the beginning though. We didn't have that issue. We didn't even know about the first bridge that takes you along the left side of the river. Perhaps there were other folks too, and we just followed them the right way. I do envy you having pet companions though. I wished I had one that followed me along, but never happened. I suppose they are picky. :). Happy Trekking!!
I have been to mountain places a lot for some reason all the time the people are so happy and friendly. They must be the happiest souls with pure heart ❤️
I have traveled to Nepal, not long before that tragic earthquake, saw all sites and more. People are amazing and caring, one of my best trips and I have been fortunate to have been to 88 countries so far, seeing at pitch darkness three 8000 meter mountains at once lit up with the sunrise it’s unforgettable. And Norway is not bad either :) “The best trip is always the next one”
The honey she is referring to is probably something known as "mad honey", collected from certain plants (mostly specific rhododendrons) containing neurotoxins. It can be extremely hard and dangerous to harvest and contains grayanotoxins, which can induce a high and hallucinations, but can also be dangerous and even deadly in rare cases. There are some documentations and more information on it on TH-cam and the internet, just look for 'Mad Honey'.
Each to his own and no judging, but I was So suprized to read what your optionion because mine was exactly oposite to yours. I have been travelling arround the world for many years to arround 17 countries and always so happy to meet locals Give them the full and most respect as the locals and always remember that I am the guest there. I would only enter a persons home or buisnes if I was INVITED IN . This guy has not much respect in my mind for the locals - you do not walk in to somebody's private safe place and release there dog that they tied up - I love animals and dogs a lot and NEVER want to see any animal tied up BUT..............it's there home - there dog - there life - there choice - RESPECT THAT and don't go against the local choice and don't make fun of them - if they wanted him runing arround they could do it without "Help""....

And when you stepped out of that lady's hut in the lower part of the valley, I could feel the freshness in the air and that golden sunlight on my face, Herald!
I really loved his tribe videos. But this one is really good so far.. Ill have to see :D
How absolutely amazing - the hospitality of these people. What a beautiful little family and cute animals! Hope Panther Dog has a long life with those cute little kids and they are healthy and well fed!!!! Amazing video Haraldo!
Harold FYI:
Dal + Bhat = Dal (lentil soup) + Bhat (rice)
When you told her you wanted potato's instead of rice. She was confused because you originally agreed to Dal + Rice (Bhat).
Then man said potato bhat which confused her even more Lmao.
@@overrated69 🤣🤣
I was sad when it was over, I can’t wait to see more of this adventure! What beautiful scenery and people!
the panther dog is Tibetan Mastiff. Its one of the most expensive dog breeds in the world, fiercely loyal too. Glad u enjoyed the trip.
That's not Tibetan mastiff, Mastiff pup looks a lot different
Since i am from himachal , watching a foreigner of course , making vlogs....inspiring our culture feels so much good ! It's a great journey ahead mate al
I was pretty amazed by the hospitality of the women with 2 kids and even spoke and understand English well..
True bless her and family 🙏🙏🥰
You know she had a domestic with the husband after he left though
@@jakeh9619 my thoughts too, its Asian thing. He will ask who he was and how he came here and how she ended up giving him yak milk tea 😂
I spent 2 months in NEPAL and did the Langtang trek and summited Yala Peak. The Nepali people are the kindest
@@MaheshAdhikari Dont brush the whole community with your disingenuous attitude.
54:08 It is for separating the leftover rice husks from rice, and also small stones/dirt that might have got mixed with rice during processing/packaging of rice. I loved that she demonstrated the process for you.
And it's called " Nanglo " Naa-ng-low ( नाङ्लो)
15:00 the world should definitely see this part and learn a lots of lessons from this video this is real life and this is real people ❤️
Wonderful stuff, Harald. The kindness of the lady offering him tea while she only has so much herself... the beauty of this is just amazing. Let's all try to be like her!
The companion girl is very funny, cute, beautiful, good in English, charming and friendly.
You know how we know these are good people? All the cats and dogs that they have. Loving this Nepal series so far.
Gotta love Harold. He says Hello to the Cow then stands there waiting for the cow to answer. 😂😂😂
14:20 asking to have a look in her home. And the answer is "Yes", I love the hospiltality, these people are amazing.
If a stranger would ask me if he can have a look in my home I would say a strong "NO" because I am raised like that. Not to trust anyone.... what a sick western world we live in....
15:10, this is Nepal! Most of the people here are so generous and good. We never disappoint any foreigners in the term of hospitality 🙏.
The girl in the pink hat is so beautiful. She could be a model. I didn't expect such beauty from the middle of the mountains of Nepal. Tibetan women are so beautiful.
One of Harold's best and that lady made it extra special. Doing this hike is officially on the bucket list.
I'm a Nepalese and I'm impressed by the beauty of my land, which I had never seen before ... Thank you Mr Harold.
I cannot be able to understand why anyone would not want to do more with their lives after watching this.
I usually watch videos at 1.25x speed but had to slow this down to have it last as long as possible. Might have to start watching in slow motion
😏
🇳🇵 ❤️🤍💙🇺🇲
I am very proud to be Nepali🇳🇵❤️ I heartily welcome to Nepal you all 😍
Thank you for visiting Nepal ❤️🙏
Bro auta sayari jawos
hamro harald brother ko ni video banaidine ki 😂😂
Abey 😂
U r welcome
waiting for new videos dai
I really appreciate how you share in the intelligence ("your english is so good", yes she was super sharp), beauty (beautiful family & puppies & mountains), love & warmth of the people & places you see. For you to tell us politely that you should offer to pay for someones generosity, that it can go either way, but making sure we know that she just enjoyed your visit & your company & had you as a guest at her beautiful homestead, its so nice that you make that clear. I have similar allergies & I get a runny nose.
What a pure content! I bet this one hour is worth it. Every single moment is just a fantasy of its own. Harald, kudos to you man. Just never stop making these kinds of videos.
i was suffering from anxiety for a very long Time
And your video really helped me to go through it
the happiness i felt was real and strong thankyouu and hope you will have a really good time in My Country ❤️
The best way to treat your anxiety is make good choice when you wake up ❤️
Dont be sad lots of love💗💕
Aww I feel for u. Don't think too much. Focus on the big picture. It helps
I love the way our nepali people are so generous and kind…..we treat well to our guests for no single penny and its in our blood.. even those who have not proper shelter are willing to offer you a tea.., thats our nepali people and nepali culture….i am proud of being a nepali ….
But you often dont do that to your fellowman
@@jumpman925 I don’t know bro In which sense are you saying those words…
I just find it so wholesome how your interact with the locals and the locals are also awesome. Ahhh now I can look forward to your vlogs everyday.
Its blowing my mind how good that woman in the tent speaks English. Most of the other people hes encountered barely spoke anything but this random woman in a cloth tent can communicate proficiently. Crazy
I know right! I was bummed he started filming the pup instead of conversing with the lady
It’s so satisfying how this woman speaks better English than a regular French/Spanish person like bruh
@@Madarauchihaaa I would tend to disagree I mean most spanish people speak english at this point even if its broken. Its still impressive that she knows tho.
Your trekking companion has a very strong personality and no fear of life, refreshing to see
Everyone must have felt like being on the journey with him there while watching the video. It's truly amazing how he connects with the viewers.
Nepal is my one of the favorite country . I love nepal so much. nepal is at the top of my traveling list. I love their culture. especially, I like and love the their mountain lifestyle, culture, mountain environment, and their hospitality. my greatest desire is to live a few days with their mountainous lifestyle. again i love so mush nepal. from srilanka.❤❤
Godspeed, Harald. Safe travels. I hit the “Like”. Seeing Nepal in winter is a bonus for all of us.
I always prefer when Harald vlog in Asia part of the world like Nepal, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, India, etc. Harald seems to be more humbled when he mingles with these heartwarming people.
23:52 genuine Nepali hospitality is mostly found in rural parts of the Nepal. Indeed!!!!
have in every country good hospitality of poor people
I appreciate you intention 💚💚💚
I agreed
I am neplaese and I have been in foreign for long enough to forget except home and city, but now looking at this, Its just feels wonderful, haven't seen any place more amazing and natural like this anywhere else. Keep making these videos and keep visiting new places. 👍. People don't call my country heaven for no reason.🇳🇵
Nepalese were some of the kindest and warmest people I ever met. Tibetans also. I hope to return some day...
"Heaven is fake, NEPAL is real". People who heard it might be taking it lightly just as other statements and dialogues. But only few ones know that it literally is. Talk about food, culture, hospitality, religion, living satisfaction, respect for animal as well as people. Just the air is enough to make u fresh and energetic. I came to Australia when I was 18 now I am 23. I came here to make life but I was hit with the big realization of the fact that I left the only life I had. So now I am going back after 5 years back to my HOME AND HEAVEN. This madness over dollar and western life is shit joke, you don't live twice because God makes life and people make dollar.
@@codyfam6174 Yes... I know that people think some countries are better because of the economy. But in some places that is the only thing that is better and everything else is worse
Such a wonderful woman, so generous though poor. These people are clean, they don't steal, they are blessed.
I don’t make comments but always hit the LIKE button for my support you Harald and Gabriel the incredible extreme TH-camrs thanks for the amazing entertainment as we see interesting countries that some of us can’t visit for age, health or income reasons from Montréal Quebec Canada 🇨🇦 keep them coming stay healthy
Gabriel makes good videos but he is also a pervert which is hard to forgive . Harold is an amazing person with integrity and I would always trust him.
I don't know who Gabriel is . Haraldo is #1, followed by peter santanello, Simon Wilson, throw bald and bankrupts scripted adventures in somewhere. Lol
@@user-yv8cn3ot4g If I can ask, why do you say G… is a pervert? If you can say it here of course. I am curious!
You asked about the bridge being destroyed...she was trying to say that the "earthquake" destroyed the bridge.. Dal is a lentil (in split form) and Bhath is rice. BTW, some cultures are shy about accepting tips, but they can sure use the money. So the next time someone says no to a tip, you leave a tip and run away...they will appreciate you for it. Not sure if hiking at 3 a.m. is a good idea...watch out for those Yak cows and stray Panther-dogs. Stay safe.
People actually complain about the video length??? I love it real and pure as it gets. Harald the great 💪
That woman that offered tea and raising the kids in that tent, so sweet and giving. and such cute kids and doggo. Real eye opener your videos
Such an amazing journey and vlog. TH-cam algorithm recommended your channel to me and I am glad it did. These days when there is so much hatred and intolerance in society, your journey and the people of Nepal show so much kindness, warmth and empathy ! My day ends on a positive note seeing your videos. Keep spreading positivity and showing the brighter side of humanity. BTW, the sub-titles you added from 36:13, hilarious! Cheers,
The lady who accompanied you is humorous. Waiting for the next vlog. Stay safe and enjoy, Harald!
Honestly Harald your one of the few people that gives me genuine confidence I can go somewhere, not know much or especially not know the language and get by just fine..
And Beyond just getting by have a amazing adventure meeting all different kinds of amazing people.. it’s truly inspiring and the reason I will try so make similar adventures for myself one day 🤟🏻
Look the hospitality of a woman 🤠 woman with a peaceful heart ❤️
What’s amazing is people with so much less than we have in America have such kind hearts and good manners…makes me think they have life figured out better than we have.
Love these people !!
As a fellow traveller....this....THIS is the content I pay for! This is gold! I really hope you continue for years to come and hopefully meet you someday! This little series is already epic! I'm loving the content and the people you meet but also...the cats 😁😍 Amazing!!!
Agree I'm not a traveller but through Harold I have traveled to the far ends of the earth and experienced fun and sadness of the people he meets. Why Netflix has not requested him to do a series is beyond me. His content imo supercedes much of the adventure travel they already have.
This series going to promote the tourism sector of Nepal for surely ..
Thanks man keep enjoying keep rocking. Actually, i love the rawness you have and no any fake drama..
This is actually what TH-cam was supposed to be
That tent home experience was the reason I watch this channel. So wholesome
Duuuude.. the people of India,Nepal,Sri Lanka and Tibetan region are SO HOSPITABLE and nice. Even the AFPAK regions have an amazing and hospitable attitude toward guests and visitors. JUST WOW MAN... Thanks HB!!
Awesome video! Its great to see Bamboo again after so many years. The Nepali people are so present, happy and hospitable. I did the same trek in back in 2007. You are going to be super fit after this trek with very strong legs!!! Looking forward to more of your videos Haraldo, the frozen torchbearer of cats dogs & goats!
Come back again because earthquake and climate change has changed many things.
The people themself live in difficult situation but still we offer what we have. This is our culture. Proud to be born in as Nepalese Citizen.
This was one of my favorite Harld videos all time. It showed great people, adventure, food, funny times and animals. Well done, this is why I love TH-cam. What an epic adventure and can’t wait for the continuations!!!

Let's be honest here. If I met such a cute vlogging companion, I'd be tempted to stay in Nepal forever lol.
I have followed HB for two years and his content skills have gone up a notch and really allow for the viewer to be there
Thank you for helping boost Nepal tourism in this pandemic time. Lots of love❤️❤️
I have been to mountain places a lot for some reason all the time the people are so happy and friendly. They must be the happiest souls with pure heart ❤️
Namaste Nepal. Never Ending Peace And Love !
It feels like I am travelling together with you ... A pure and unadulterated experience ...
Do you remember the guy who gets really high that he can't even walk
Keep your bullshit with you!!! U will never get that hospitality like she did
@@manojbhattarai9806 why are you mad bro? Didn't you read his comment properly or you meant to reply to another comment?

this is the most nepalistic travel vlog I have ever seen! his socializing skill is so good that he gets along with virtually every life form!
@@markmerkel7488 Yeah I get kind of an entitled vibe from him too a little bit
The locals’ English is so good and they’re all so kind and welcoming, amazing country
Nobody does vlogging like the GOAT himself.Loving this series
Love how you showed Gabriel so much love, he’s truly a great guy with an awesome channel.
So excited for this new series! The ladies from Bamboo Hotel speaks really good English and seem so sweet and helpful. I can’t wait for the rest of the videos! Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
