I spent last summer refinishing my parents’ old dresser for my daughter to use as a changing table/dresser for my grandson. She chose the same colors, black with wood drawers. I also gave it a poly topcoat, with a couple extra coats on the top. It’s a slightly different 1950s style dresser but the look at the end was very similar. Best wishes for you and your new baby!
