That's awesome. I think I'm due for a re-read though I DO listen to his podcasts often even still. My problem is I go through periods where, maybe I drink too much alcohol for a few weekends in a row and I don't keep up my practice... then my mind goes in the gutter and I forget this stuff. You really need to have a daily practice otherwise, at least for me since it's not ingrained in my lifestyle, I forget it.
After you helped me understand and almost cure my LPR, I subscribed to your channel. I'm so glad i did. Recently, I've let my stress and anxiety get out of control. I'm a new father and run my own business, and I didn't realize how much I was stressed until my eye was literally twitching and my health anxiety started going crazy. I couldn't get out of my own head. Constantly thinking the worst thoughts. Then this video comes on my feed. I literally laughed and thought, "how does this guy know?" 😆. I got a copy of the book and it has already helped me look at things completely different and control that voice in my head. So again, thank you sir!
Aw what an awesome message to wake up to. You my friend are the reason I made this video and I'm so glad it found you when you needed it. It had somehow found its way into my life too when I needed it. Thanks for the message. And anytime you want to chat about the book or anything, let me know! Have an awesome day 👊
Thank you. I watched you're 30days quit alcohol video, I'm 8.5 months into a planned year off. I also watched your caffeine video and it lead me to this, I checked I have downloaded the book on audible and never got around to watching it. I'm taking this as just the sign, so start listening to it tonight. Thank you. You are making a positive rippled effect in the world. Only seen these 3 videos, but full support to you. I'm glad you were born ✌️❤ n D💡
Aww, your comment made my day. Thank you! I'm so glad you found my videos and are on a similar path. Please let me know how it goes... it's funny how you find come across things sometimes. If I can be the one to help introduce you Michael Singer then that makes me very happy. His work has helped me feel so much more joy in my life... I am able to let go and release myself from constant suffering. Let's talk about it once you've had some time to listen! I'm glad you were born too :)
Oh that's awesome. Did you read his latest book too? I thought it was even better than this one but I thought I should share the book that started me on my path.
I did read the 2nd and it was as good! I can’t say enough about how his teaching have helped me. It was for the first Time that someone gave me some tools that actually worked and they did.
Aw you made my day! Thank you for the support my friend... gestures like this really help. It's tough being a small channel but finding people like you just make it all worth it.
Thank you! I love the way you described the book. I’ve started reading it, and hearing what you’ve just said fuels my motivation to keep going until I finish it. Hopefully, I’ll discover its gems, just as you did.
Glad you found the video! Even today I still listen to Michael Singers podcasts multiple times a week. I really clicked with his work... hopefully it clicks with you too.
Haha that would have been awesome! Thanks for watching. If you do decide to get a copy and ever want to chat about it let me know. I love talking about it... obviously! lol
"The wound is where the light enters." Ive been thinking about that quote a lot recently. Thanks for sharing your story with us and being brave enough to be honest and vulnerable.
Yeah that's beautiful. Thanks for the share. Appreciate your support brother. Things are happening all at once right now too... wife had her last day of old job on Friday, we are listing our house on Tuesday and moving to Vancouver Island (from the mainland)... life is really happening and instead of resisting it I'm going with the flow and embracing the change. Switching from constant resistance to acceptance has been incredible for me.
Man... for the last several months I've been trying to think about how to describe the way I feel and the first minute and 45 seconds of this video is spot on.. esp part of that last line "my thoughts became torture" I will be getting that book. Thank you. The crazy part about this is I stumbled across your channel looking for a true classic tee review.
Haha you know what's funny? I was just writing in another comment about how the problem with my channel is I bounce around between different topics so much, that might make it hard for my audience to remain interested in my channel. But I do it (and will continue to do it) because I always want to make videos on whatever I am passionate about at the moment so my videos are as good as possible. Then I read your comment and I'm like Yes! This is why I love to bounce around! I am very glad to hear this video resonated with you. Please get yourself a copy and anytime you want to chat about it (or anything else) hit me up in the comments. It's a true game-changer. ANY time I need to feel better, I just listen to Michael Singers podcast, or weekly talks on his website. He started me on a path that will make me enjoy the rest of my life so much more. Thanks for the comment!
@The SAHD Life absolutely keep doing what you're doing 🤘 I used your link and ordered the book right after I sent that comment. I will reach out again after I've read it and I will also check out his podcast.
Aw thanks for saying. This book definitely helped me figure out what is important in life and how to get back on track. Like you mentioned I used to sit around and listen to my mind all the time.
I just started this book and am so hopeful the techniques in it will overcome my depression that’s like a fog on a summer’s day. I’m 77 and looking for some sunny 😎 ways adjust my attitude! Thanks!
Glad you found the video! I'm not sure if you are familiar with his podcast but he shares his weekly talks and they are just great. You can check them out here: resources.soundstrue.com/michael-singer-podcast/ I often listen before bed or while driving if I need that reminder to quit ruminating on my mind made problems and just enjoy life as it happens.
Feel free to come back and chat about it any time! He posts talks on his website a couple times a week and anytime I need to feel good I listen. I love that guy! He's been a huge help for me enjoying life. Hope it does the same for you!
Love it! Please chat about it as you go if you remember... his books are just the best and just make everything in and around life better. Good for you!
I love the way you edit your videos :) you are creating your own illustration content insteat of taking those from some footage somewhere, it is great. And the content you share is really great , keep up the good work . :)
Aw thanks 👊 It's always kind of scary going live with a new vid, especially since I'm all over the map with my content. I never know how people will react but I wouldn't change it.. I only want to do videos I'm passionate about. Anyway, do let me know what you think and let's talk about it. Any chapter or anything!
Great book and your wonderful take-a-way from it. Your presentation and visuals were so good. Love the words "The Quality of Now." Maybe that's your next book. Love the laughter of your kids and their part in the movie...thanks again have a great day.
What a great comment! Thank you for that :) I still listen to Michael Singers talks on his website often... they just always calm me down. Love that guy! Have a great rest of the week :)
I hope it lands on you like it did with me. I still listen to that dude's talks on his website almost every night. It's like butter for the soul! I mean assuming you like butter 😆
Thanks for the comment, I'm probably due for another read of it soon! There's something about listening to/reading stuff from that guy... just calming to the soul!
Yeah me too!! I listen to talks on his website Temple of the universe all the time. I listen to a few other people but he's always the one I go back to when I need to calm my mind. He's rad! 👊
Every time I start to read this book I´m not able to keep it to the end. I kind of taste something good from it at first but can´t keep moving forward in the process. I´m not sure if is some kind of resistance from my mind... anyway.
Yeah I feel you for sure. I guess it kind of depends how desperate you are when you start reading it... I was really desperate and every moment I was reading it helped me avoid the suffering in my mind I was going through. He has a podcast that you might want to throw on here and there. I listen to it while falling asleep as his philosophy is like butter for my soul.
Thanks for the positive vibes! I feel like I've always been a bit of an overthinker and worrier... Like I said in the video I always took pride in that until I eventually realized it was causing me a ton of suffering too... Everyday. I was raised Christian and I remember when I was a kid I was told if you are bad you spend eternity in hell and I remember countless nights just wondering what that would be like. Can you imagine a child just laying there worrying about hell night after night?! How horrible!! I'm not saying that's what started my nightly worries but it didn't help!
Great summary. Brief and to the point. I thank you. I too am having my life changed by this author. His latest book is even better I think, check it out Living Untethered
Thanks for the great comment, I really appreciate it. And yes I think Living Untethered is even more powerful but when I thought about it, I figured I should point to the book that got me started on this path... dp while I DO agree, this one still holds strong. Much love! Do you listen to who's Podcast? I found his weekly talks on his website and they are just so good.
Thank you my friend! I really appreciate the support. It is a challenging yet rewarding process creating videos and I'm so glad they resonate with others. 👊Have a great day

Devaluing the current moment is a super track to endless sadness indeed.
Do you practice mindfulness / meditation in your daily life? If so do you have any books or people that help keep you on track?
This book has changed my life also! The thing that helped me was to understand that I am not my thoughts! This was a game changer.
