@@jackatk My sentense wasn’t too clear but all i was saying is first of all this doesn’t really wear out tires at all unless you find the stickiest spot in high heat and do it for a long while.
And this won’t affect tire manufacurers in real life because it won’t have an effect on tire wear.
So i didn’t say it would make them extra happy if it doesn’t wear them quickly but the opposite.

Tires spin in different directions
AFAIK the 2 tires on one side of the car are spinning at one speed, while the 2 tires on the other side of the car are spinning at the same speed but in the opposite direction. So, one side of the car wants to go forward, while the other side wants to go backward. That results in the car essentially spinning.

afaik, they shut down a large part of vegas every year for the ces conference (which was when mercedes showed off this demonstration)
