The car was initially meant to be created for the australian military, however, AMG went a bit crazy and made some for the public. How good is that!

A jeep replica made by H.H Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan for the Hameem Abu Dhabi UAE Car Museum. There are more oversized crafts there. It's also to note, that the Jeep is actually motorized and can be used via a seat behind the front grille.

That ride through the desert was a thing of beauty.
One of the most obvious 'yeah that was added later with Richard in the cabin' segments to date, especially the vertical bit.
the mercedes is not the most exreme or with most wheels , but remember it does everything with comfort. its like the toughest jeep, but with lots of luxury

1:09 For perspective: 250,000 square miles of desert. Horizon is about 30 miles on a good day, or about 90 square miles. That means that when you see a vast sweeping shot of the desert landscape and they say "this is the Empty Quarter desert", you're only actually looking at about 0.04% of it.
Read it with Jeremy Clarksons voice:
"Every single time you revv that vehicle, it consumes 1 cup full of petrol. Mercedes says it can run the distance of an average driveway per gallon (3.8 liter). So it's safe to say, that you should better own a gas station or two, maybe even five to be on the safe side."
