The reason it seems much smoother is probably because all the Services were set to Manual in the Essential Tweaks (top left), freeing up lots of resources.
CTT WinUtil It's great and does the job. However, I do not recommend it to people who do not know what options to choose, and what each tweek means exactly. Such a person can easily damage the system, I recommend it to more advanced people who know exactly what they are doing when using such a tool. Additional features such as downloading programs, and the ability to create a custom Windows system image are definitely a plus. However, this last function does not work very well yet, and there are errors when creating the Iso. But after some time it should work without any problems.
Chris is awesome and not shady like most other techtubers. WinUtil is a great starter kit and base for a good w11 Cleanstall swell! nice givin it a shout out been enjoying your channel aswell.
This is a VERY good tool! I actually always use it to install programs, and in the case of a Windows re-install to get rid of junk. I can only recommend it to you all! By the way, you don't have to download the program! As soon as you close the program, it is "uninstalled" itself.
There is one problem in this tool. Have you noticed the items in context menu showing abruptly instead of taking a second to show? Click on right context menu and hover over view or sort by you will notice the items are showing very quickly. It breaks the visual design point of Windows.
@Jamescoulion I have never used it so I can't tell. I use the “Chris Titus” tool and Steve Gibson's (free) Tool, “InControl”. Gibson Research Corporation!

Tried Microwin to make a light Windows Home .iso image. My option was not to have Edge on my image, but it got installed anyway. Maybe Windows Updates got it back.
GREAT Video Again. Love your style and the way you present the tips for us.. I have a question about my system I would like to ask you: I currently run a Windows 10 64bit version of windows and it has worked fine since I installed it. Now I have bought some new hardware (Graphics Card, 64Gb Memmory, SSD, and a new CPU) with the same Motherboard. So I was thinking about upgrading to Windows 11. My question is, what is the best way to do this? My Windows 10 Pro is 22H2 and its activated. It says on my Windows Update that its a free upgrade for me, so my question is. What is the best way to do this upgrade? I would like an as clean as possible windows, with as little bloatwere as possible and as fast as possible. Would it be an option to run a clean fresh Win 10 install frist and then upgrade to Win 11? or download it directly as an ISO? My thoughts: I was thinking downloading it as an iso-file but then, how do windows / microsoft notice that this as a free update for me???! Can I still get it for free even if I download the Iso file? I dont get this totally. Thanks
Yeah this ruins the entire OS: Widgets gone, Copilot gone, Paint AI gone, Start Web Search gone, and so on. Basically everything that makes Windows 11 is gone. If you really want a clean Windows just install Windows 7 LOL 😊
If u know anything about Chris, he would prefer to use Windows 7 -.- But it is not more supported so it is not receiving any security updates anymore, unless it is a throwaway PC, u should not install Windows 7 in it. Just don't use it if u don't like it
This seems good. Going to download this. It might fix my system corruptions.
you don't have to download that's the best part! its just a powershell command!
@chickenoverload they have a repo now

Edge is like an std of Windows. Just apply some ointment again but it will never fully go away.
