So which one you choose for the phone?
And if i keep the phone battery % to drain to 0 and charge to 100 every time the li po battery do better job(i mean aging and battery life) or li ion?

    • @TechCamper
      @TechCamper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

This all depends on the requirements but Li-Po batteries are slowly taking the market of Li-ion (although their cost is high but because of safety purpose). It is not like that Li-ion batteries are not upto mark as you can see, still lithium ion batteries are being used with upgradation in their technology but as advancement in tech li-po are used.
But still, it all depends on requirements of work that which type of battery will satisfy the needs.

What is the difference between "efficiency decrease over time" and less memory effect in Li Ion?

    • @TechCamper

"Efficiency decrease over time" means as the time passes the efficiency goes on decreasing and 'Less Memory Effect in Li Ion' means Lithium Ion Battery has lack of Memory Effect

Memory effect is where the battery sort of "remembers" how much of its capacity it fills. With bad charging behaviours, the battery "forgets" its max charging /discharging capability.
Although it isn't much of an issue with the modern Lithium batteries compared to the old Nickel based batteries.

You said Lithium polymer battery pro : less weight so high energy density.
    Than you said
Con : these batteries have low energy density and hence stored less amount of energy than the same sized lithium ion battery...
    Both statement contradict each other.

You have slightly mixed up two different statments :-
Pro : These batteries are light in weight because of which they result in better energy density per kg. (Please note, this statement is w.r.t kg)
Con : These batteries have low energy density & hence store less amount of energy than the same sized lithium ion battery.(Please note, this statement is w.r.t size)

Lithium ion (iphone) and lithium polymer (android)...
Sometimes iphone battery is replaceable because of the bad battery health or degrades...yeah iphones are water proof/water resistant because of ip rating thing...and when you change a new battery for your iphone...it will loose the old brand new of sealed outer body (looseness of water resistant capabilities)
While android smartphone sometimes removable battery but never replaceable because it last longer...
Yeah lazy people doesn't need to look battery health stuff because they will buy a new smartphone after 2 - 4 years using their old smartphone...plus i wish iphones have lithium polymer battery rather than lithium ion battery...it will cost me to replace the iphone battery rather than android smartphone that doesn't need to replace a battery
