Upcycling genious Simon and his restorer Gemma love turning everyday objects in to fantastic
furniture, while for Henry and his mechanic, Guy, its all about restoring retro relics and vintage classics. From transforming a galvanised metal cold water storage tank into a modern coffee table, to turning a 4ft whiskey barrel into a funky and contempory seat, our “sultans of scrap”will show you just how easy it can be to breathe new life into old or unwanted items.

Considering the low miles and decent paint work, I'm surprised that this wasn't on the higher end of the estimate to be honest! But then, I think this episode was 2016(ish) and I was still picking them up in people's drive ways for under £500 back then.

back in the late 1990's I had a Citroen BX with that same 1900 XU9 petrol engine in it and it was great fun to drive ! so I can imagine this Peugeot 205 must be great to drive and handle so much better than the larger Citroen BX I had. Great Peugeot ! Love it ! ❤❤❤

My dream car! Owed nine all in! My last one was Miami blue k reg with ac & power steering! B worth a bomb now! My first black 1.6 j reg pug bought @ 16 years old I was gone down the b lanes!!!

I love the fact there's no mention of the rear suspension the fact it's been sat 20 odd years the rear beam it's bearings bushes and stub axles would be shot 😅.

Don't think Henry can fix many things, a lot of talk and dont get me wrong,he's very entertaining to listen to,but he doesn't seem to do an awful lot.

However simon bottles it and blacks out of a pin hole size of rust.
