Wow hello fellow TAMB fan!!!
It's my absolute favourite anime. I can just go on about Kore Yamazaki (mangaka; author's) and her brilliant world building forever that woman is so knowledgeable, about history about culture, about folklores, and she's always sensible about it, she had bible sessions, she visits the countries she writes about. She's always on some trip always collecting material for her work. highly recommend her other works too specially Frau Faust(a retelling of the famous German legend of doctor Faust, shall we even call it a retelling? It's like a whole ass continuation,lol)
As a mythology nerd I just can't stop talking about TAMB, the faeries were like, so accurate, extremely beautiful, extremely terrifying neither entirely evil nor good. The relationships were so complex the aspec mood going on b/w the main characters is so flowy and natural, like yes the earlier chapters suggested something else but not anymore, and the animation and the music? Are SUCH A TREAT Juinichi Matsumoto is seriously a musical genius. Tho I can go on forever, I'll stop now.
