According to his 40 time he runs 18 miles an hour. That isn't super fast. But his game speed is much faster he hits 21 mph during the game. Great hands. Which is Paramount for a wide receiver. He will be great when Josh Allen extends the play Coleman will be there. He's going to be a star. And for one I'm glad the Buffalo bills have him. His attitude is infectious.
He's got the vision to see the field which is more important than straight line speed. Spiller was straight-line speed, Fred Jackson was slower but better b/c he had the vision. Vision is more important than speed. Not to mention he knows how to use his body to block the defender.

As a Bills fan who enjoys football, period, and loves watching all the teams, I'm only here to say Steve Smith Sr. is, and was, the baddest MF to EVER play football. He's a man's man from the top to bottom. I loved watching him play and I loved how he always backed up what he said, although he wasn't a blow hard diva like so many receivers today are.
Coleman plays soft and has a limited route tree. The plus for him (big plus) is that he returns punts AND he plays solid special teams. Most teams like this versatility.
@@dmvbay2535 sure. I am not arguing any of his opinions, only the blatant incorrect facts he states. Coleman led Michigan state receiving in all categories, LITERALLY, in 2022. Yards, receptions, TDs. For Steve to bring up Jayden Reed and say hey played together but didn't notice the best player on the team is just hating on Coleman. Say whatever you want about his profile and how it will translate to the next level. Steve throws one of these wildly incorrect stats in all his vids. @@_gaza_31he literally said Coleman led both teams in stats. He acknowledged the stats. Guess you missed that part at the beginning. What he WAS saying, is that Keon didn’t STAND OUT, didn’t grab his attention on film when watching Reed. Check yourself before disrespecting an all time great wr.
Where are these guys at now who cleaned out Jayden's locker? Assuming they didn't go on to win the heisman and likely top 3 picks in the draft. That gives me a clue as to how much I should value their opinions.
Coleman was a stud for fsu he’s gonna be a great one in the nfl! His size speed catch radius is outstanding!!!! Routes are good aswell but he’s damn near a guaranteed TD in the redzone
With all due respect sir, your physical stats on Coleman are straight up wrong. He is actually 6'4", 215lbs. You come off clean hating on the guy from the get. Yet you go on to mention he was hampered by the change in QB play which maybe resulted in not breaking 1K yards perhaps? Sure he's not Harrison or Nabers but guess who also had a horrible combine? Tom Brady, the GOAT. Just saying. I think he has more good than bad potential. He also ran a faster gauntlet than Puka Nacua if that has any relevance.

Steve thinks Keon FELL because of his interviews? That is a braindead take. But what can we expect from a dude who is on the same reading level as Floyd Mayweather
How does he have a bad word ethic. I know the running routes not at 100 percent thing, but his reasoning is valid and it's something that others clearly do and just don't say it. I think if he is coached to run all out he will do it.
Yes, overrated. One of the worst YAC receivers I've ever seen from someone who has such great physical measurables. He doesn't break tackles or show great breakaway speed in games. I genuinely have no idea how he ran an official 4.3. But I do like his route running nuance...there is real upside there. I think he can be a good possession receiver but not a WR1 like some people are trying to suggest.
Coleman's situation feels like Q. Johnson from last season draft class. I really hope he gets to the right destination so he can hit the ground running.
nah bro as a die hard chargers fan i knew before we drafted Q he was a bust... his main flaw is not being able to catch with his hands.. main thing i see keon do almost every play is make strong catches with his hands and attacks the football Q literally waits til it hits him in the body
That’s ridiculous you won’t do a breakdown on Johnny Wilson.. bro has so much more nuance in his game than Keon it’s not even comparable. Anyone saying he needs to move to TE need to watch his film… absolutely ridiculous
this wasn’t hating of him it was evaluating of him from watching his gameplay seems like if a guy cant seperate in college he wont in NFL. Hes a hard evaluation he gotta go somewhere thatll play him in the slot
Lions looking at that drop in the draft to the 60’s like “don’t mind if I do”. If the other guys like worthy are gone by then, then the tier two guys are going to do just fine. But if Coleman is there, it may be better or perhaps used as a bargaining chip for the Lions.
For always call my eye when they played. But watching this video with Steve it seems as if he is still a little raw and has to think about running his route.
Honestly that was a terrible break down of Keon Coleman. A lot of your points are based on assumptions and you clearly didn’t watch the year unfold. Only part you were right about was them using him for only jump balls for a few sections of games
The things that you are talking about can be trained by his coach in Buffalo. This guy will surprise you haters once the season starts because he has only scratched the surface of his wide receiver talent.
I thing Coleman could be a plus route runner if he can improve his technique. He showed at the combine testing that he has elite short area quickness. I just he feels to work on the precision part of it. Coleman is a bit of an enigma for me. He is slower than you would like to see, but he is actually an outstanding YAC guy. I can’t help but see N’Keal Harry when I watch him because that man traumatized me. But I think there is more upside for Coleman
I agree big slot is likely the right place for Coleman. He’s a zone beater, has shown a good feel for that, and can really run after the catch. That said, the contested catch rate, as Steve said, is misleading. There are a lot of good high point catches on his tape, and his hands are excellent. Lot of bad throws on the tape.
What about the interviews? The kid killed it in his interview with Buffalo and all it takes is one. So far he's looked like a 1st round pick in camp and he's already gelling with Allen.
And Josh Allen was going to be a career backup according to a lot of pre and post draft “experts” while Josh Rosen was more polished and “NFL ready”. The only thing I know for sure is that these “experts” don’t know for sure.

Found this TH-cam by accident. Good day. Love listening to someone who's played the game at the Highest level for a long time.
Coleman reminds me of Anquan Boldin but less polish.
i thought that at first until i went and watched old highlights of boldin in college. Its not a good comparison
@@Ravens752003 who would you say
@@kidmelo1994idk its hard to say maybe Marcus Colston
If he works on his route running/ fluidity, I can most def see this comparison. Uses body well and his ability to attack the ball in contested catches/jump ball situations

Steve was drafted in the 3rd round, 75th over all. Ended up being sleeper, a great choice. i value his opinion... he isnt saying Keon is trash. Steve been through it. Probably would be cool to see Steve dissect his draft and why he was rated as such. Prob would say he was trash lol. Its still an opinion of someone who went through the trenches... Keon has work to do. Most know that that. Go f ing Bills regardless. f the pats and f Miami. we run it. excited to see him with a good qb.
He was so high start of season because he was healthy but he had a nagging injury for the majority of the season along with the rest of fsu being injured which didnt help his stats or stock
I trust Steve Smith Sr more than anyone else when it comes to wide receivers.I was upset the chiefs didn’t take him in the first, but after seeing this, I’m kind of glad we got Worthy.
Steve its Alot of Average Wrs being proped up under the word (SEPERATOR)..This is new lingo to push Analytics and prop up less athletic wrs..Prime Example -Ladd mccConkey He is being proped up as this elite (SEPERATOR) but where is the PRODUCTION and better FILM??People love MccConkey but hate Coleman? I dont get it..FILM DONT LIE... I trust Keon Coleman to have a much better career than Ladd mccConkey..Im baffled by the mccConkey love and Coleman hate in the draft community..
People are morons. Coleman is way better than loser ladd
Another day of waiting for ladddd
Drop the Marvin Harrison video
Is it worth making a vid lol (I know Nabers got one but everyone knows MHJ gon be a goat)
He's really good, that's all you need to know
Thank you for finally doing Keon Coleman , you’re wrong tho he’s going to ball out just watch you’re tripping Steve
Steve Smith is more often right than wrong
Coleman is a great athlete, strong hands, jump ball specialist. He doesn't create alot of separation however. I think he could be Allen Robinson tho.
sheeesh too high of praise...maybe last year Allen Robinson lol
and you think allen Robinson is great ?

@@jalynnsidney2241thank you! Every game is worth watching but certain game you take notes. Since spoon is in the league and will go up against him again the coaches will go back and watch that game.
Steve smith is clueless. Keon Coleman made Jayden feed look like a WR3. Keon was the best WR on that team bar none
He reminds me of Devante Parker. Just a little taller, but really good at jump balls, but not fast enough to consistently get open downfield. You don’t have to game plan for a 4.6 WR the way you do for a 4.2-4.3 guy. I think Parker is a good comparison for his lack of elite speed, and his lack of route running ability.
Your right. Nobody ever game planned Cooper Kupp the way they game planned Marquis Goodwin. Probably why Kupp caught all those balls. Nobody even knew he was on the field most of the time.
😂😂😂 that killed me 6 ft 2 108 lb lmao love your game bro you killed my bears in the division round

go up for muscle.
“108 pooounds” 😂
People expects him to be running routes like Tae Adams and fast as hill. He’s big an athletic and good after catch all he needs to do is win 50/50 and play big
Keon is the truth Sir. Combine ain't the Game
Why does Steve Smith not do any homework? Jayden Reed and him played together...but didn't notice Coleman. He led the f!*×
g team! Open your eyes bruh
Love his analysis videos but i don't understand why he has to throw these comments in. I wish Coleman lived up more to the potential everyone saw in him prior to last season too 🤷♀️
@@_gaza_31he literally said Coleman led both teams in stats. He acknowledged the stats. Guess you missed that part at the beginning. What he WAS saying, is that Keon didn’t STAND OUT, didn’t grab his attention on film when watching Reed. Check yourself before disrespecting an all time great wr.
I noticed him. Checked myself, all good 🤙
Fanboy smh lmaoooo@@_gaza_31
The reason the young fella feels Keon Coleman is faster with the ball is because of the wiggle displayed on punt returns!
All respect Steve he wins and he’s going refine his routes he will be better than everyone except Marvin
keon coleman will be an immediate impact take him in fantasy
Oh really?
Steve Smith is usually good.. but this was trash. He’s talking out of his Arse. Bad interviews?? Where… Coleman’s going to be a Star!
Coleman played injured the 2nd half of the season
My friend who is an fsu diehard said this also
Damn what if he fell to 2nd round that would be a steal!!! Imagine that
I'd take Troy Franklin. Keon seems like a N'keal Harry.... BUT! late in 2nd round would be better or 3rd
Keon Coleman after week 6 was hurt the rest of the season.
I’d love to hear yall talk about him being on the Bills now and that he went 7th WR taken!
He was Injured himself this year. Look at the LSU game. That was him at full health

I can see where your coming from. Can I just say I don't like or dislike the kid. I'm just telling what I see. I had his height and weight wrong. Man I do multiple breakdowns a show. Steve thinks Keon FELL because of his interviews? That is a braindead take. But what can we expect from a dude who is on the same reading level as Floyd Mayweather
Been waiting on this 1, welcome to the Baltimore Ravens Keon!!
Spells Buffalo Wrong 😂
Am I the only one that thinks AD Mitchell is overrated?
He’s hard to evaluate because imo his work ethic and effort is one of his biggest questions and you can’t really get a read on that
I been saying it
How does he have a bad word ethic.
@@bc_qbeval you must be my twin. Everything I said
Coleman's situation feels like Q.
@chaoscarter7 watch where he gets drafted. I understand ur disappointmented but I'm telling I've spoken to a lot of teams he ain't that dude u think
They didn’t show any of his LSU highlights
People will hate on Coleman because its the cool thing to do, but I still believe in him
this wasn’t hating of him it was evaluating of him from watching his gameplay seems like if a guy cant seperate in college he wont in NFL. Hes a hard evaluation he gotta go somewhere thatll play him in the slot
Swear Keon “interview” Coleman has two right feet
Lions looking at that drop in the draft to the 60’s like “don’t mind if I do”. If the other guys like worthy are gone by then, then the tier two guys are going to do just fine. But if Coleman is there, it may be better or perhaps used as a bargaining chip for the Lions.
For always call my eye when they played. But watching this video with Steve it seems as if he is still a little raw and has to think about running his route.
If coleman goes to the bills itll be a perfect fit. Diggs missing deep catches to end the season wont be a problem anymore
U called it
@@e45-p4o yessir
I know cause he won't get open lmaoooo
Honestly that was a terrible break down of Keon Coleman. A lot of your points are based on assumptions and you clearly didn’t watch the year unfold. Only part you were right about was them using him for only jump balls for a few sections of games
FINALLY
The things that you are talking about can be trained by his coach in Buffalo. This guy will surprise you haters once the season starts because he has only scratched the surface of his wide receiver talent.
Jermaine Burton has a lot of Steve Smith in him I think what do you think?
Megatron and Randy Moss ate off jump balls. Keon Gives me those vibes.
I'm trying to see the difference between Coleman and N'Keal Harry. Big guy with average speed and limited route running who doesn't get separation.
He will be better than half the guy's in front of him.Straight Dog
Searched for this yesterday
Keon reminds me a lot of Michael Pittman, just maybe a tad slower than pittman.
He will be a fantastic part of the mafia!!! Tall lean and can jump for the rock.
All he needs is someone throwing that ball to him and now he has that go bills welcome to the Buffalo Keon
What about the interviews? The kid killed it in his interview with Buffalo and all it takes is one. So far he's looked like a 1st round pick in camp and he's already gelling with Allen.
I gotta watched Keon Coleman film
