Fun fact: Gabiru VA is Jun Fukushima. He's a veteran VA in the industry so you can hear his voice in quite a lot of anime. He voiced Formaggio in Jojo GW and more famously, Kazuma Sato in Konosuba. Oh yeah, Rimuru's VA is actually a lady, Miho Okasaki. She voiced Teruko in Demon Slayer, the little girl that was with her brother that was in the episode that introduced Inosuke.
Just so you know, if you haven't figured it out yet, names are extremely important among monsters because it gives them a power boost based on the one who named them, plus it's upgrading them to a boss level status. Think like in an RPG where most regular monsters are just generic until you get to the boss. That's why someone like Gabiru has an inflated ego. Doesn't help that he's surrounded by hype men either.

As for now, everyone seems still dont know anything about rimuru and veldora relationship, which is more like adoptive brothers from name sharing, only the dryads that seems able to grasp something even hinting that rimuru recieve divine protection(storm dragon crest through naming) from veldora
gabiru is super cocky and plus he has a fan following all the time to give him an ego boost which makes matter worse gobta is decently powerful, its just that he is not a very motivated and forward person, but he is a fun character
When you get done with the first season their should be some OTA episodes as well. Not all I'd say need to be watched but I think there are a couple that you would get a kick out of. I can be specific on which ones if you want

Shion's cooking is by far the scariest thing in this anime for a good chunk of it
