    Hey ecoflow, thanks for the update on the wave 2. I've been waiting for video on the issues.
    Maybe you have a good unit that works but many of us have struggled getting the AC to work in real world scenarios.
    The unit is marketed towards people with vans, trailers, RVs, and tents basically. You want to test this scenario on a hot day and provide a video so people can get the real story.
    Basically, your test room is very well insulated from the sun and the wave 2 can keep up cooling your room when the condenser cycles on and off. This isn't a true real world test.
    Try it in a trailer above 85 or 90° ambient temperature *inside trailer* and see what happens. You will be surprised it won't cool it in a five + hour period. Your trailer may drop a couple degrees Max to 87° (if 90 inside the trailer).
    I'm very unhappy with the unit. We have researched forward and backwards on forums how to get the AC to work in our small 18 foot camper (at 77 sq ft), much smaller than your room. The camper is even in the shade, very well insulated and the wave 2 is installed correctly with dual hoses.
    We bought our wave 2 in June 2023. I'm not sure if I have a bad AC unit but there are many others having issues.
    If you watch all these TH-cam videos, people unbox and run the unit for a day when the ambient temperature is 70 then say it's great. The Wave 2 will not have issues with low ambient temperatures.
    But try it on hot days (above 80 or 90 ambient degrees **inside the room**, not outside). The unit will not keep up and becomes worthless spitting out 75 to 90° in Max AC mode. In fact I've had the unit increase the temperature many times when it's like 80-90 inside the trailer. As the AC condenser turns on and off, it gets warmer and warmer.
    I also constantly get errors. It can't keep our 18 foot camper cool at all.
    Also if you run the ac longer than 5 hours it will throw an errors then the ambient temp goes up to 85 or 90 constant making the unit worthless.
    Ecoflow used to be a great company with great products. It certainly has gone downhill especially their customer service.
    Like I said, maybe we have a bad unit but good luck getting in contact with Ecoflow's Chinese customer service lol. It may take two or three months sending many videos back and forth trying to get them to repair or send a replacement. Good luck if any of you have a bad unit lol. These guys don't give a rip and will not make it right.
    Just be careful everyone. Maybe buy off Amazon where you can complain. Hopefully ecoflow can sell via prime so you can return a defective unit without hassle or waiting for months.

      Thank you for the quick reply. I sent a support email a few moments ago. Hopefully they will resolve this issue with a replacement quickly without much hassle.
      I will report back on this video as well as many many other videos I've commented on.
      I'm also hopeful that it was just a bad unit and I can tell everyone on TH-cam that my issue was quickly resolved with a replacement and Ecoflow support was great.

    When using indoor is it necessary to use the larger air inlet hose and vent in from outside. Totally understand the top smaller outlet needs to be vented outside because it is hot air. Cheers.

    Hi there. I'm planning to buy this. We currently have a DELTA 2, can you please explain how "The WAVE 2 Add-On battery can also be used as an extra battery for the DELTA 2 unit. Also how do you know that it is time to drain the unit? Thanks!

      Hi there, yes you can use the XT150 cable to connect the WAVE 2 Add-On battery to the DELTA 2. The state of the battery can be found on the APP. Let me know if you have other questions.

  • @TrailersCigarettes
    @TrailersCigarettes 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The heating used for RVs (truck camper) is quite useless. Heater automatically shuts off after 4 minutes of heat flow, then just cold air. Constantly restarting the unit to get some heat. (hoses attached as instructions, no water in reserve). As a AC unit, it works.

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, to make sure the heating of WAVE 2 can function normally, it should be placed in environment higher than 5 ℃. If it still shuts off automatically, could you please contact our after-sales team via this email👉support@ecoflow.com

      @@EcoFlowTechTrue. Right now the Eastern Canadian weather is at the 0c or below 0c. I will do a test to see if a ceramic bathroom heater can bring up the ambient temperature. THEN, I hope the Wave 2 can perform?
      IF this works? You may want to incorporate a ceramic heater into your next Wave Product Design?

      Hi there, the input specs of WAVE2 is 100-240V ~50/60Hz, 820W max, which means that WAVE2 can accept high-voltage 50HZ input. You can just use an AC cable that meets the specs.

    It’s funny how after you spend a tone of money that the negative reviews are found. I paid for mine so I don’t have to sugar coat anything!
    I’m a trucker with a rooftop unit that went out in my truck and instead of replacing that unit I thought this would better. So wrong!
    First off I bought a kit with unit, battery and alternator charging and only received the unit. Sent email about that already.
    Second I was like well at least I can run off 110 plug since I have a 3500 watt generator and the unit only runs for an hour and shuts off. If this unit only runs 8 hours with the battery then why didn’t I get my battery at the same time? Better yet why sell the unit by itself?
    Like people say it doesn’t run in hot weather. Maybe it would cool my 75 sqft sleeper if I could get this unit to run more than an hour. If you are wanting to use this unit in an rv, travel trailer, semi sleeper or something like this I would do something else! I should have put a mini split unit in like I wanted to in the first place! Buy at your own risk! Or keep lying to people if ECOFLOW sponsors your unit. Hope I get the rest of my items soon!
    I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

      With the 400W EcoFlow alternator charger my unit runs without stopping indefinitely so what are you talking about? Even with the alternator/truck off it runs for 14 hours

    • @screamingeagle9553
      @screamingeagle9553 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@thepatternforms859 at the time of this post all I received was the unit. My battery came in a week later and I just received my 800w alternator charger. I still haven’t received my vent kit. Since I’m on the road I haven’t had the time to install the charger. I don’t know how you are getting 14 hours of run time. Unless you have their delta pro. My battery won’t last the night on ac with low fan and on eco mode it will last 6 hours but might as well not have it on. I bought this to not have to run my onboard generator all night! That’s why I said I should have went back to a rooftop unit. When I can get a chance I will install the charger maybe it will run longer since I have two 200ah batteries and see if that will work. But right now I’m not happy with it and contacting ecoflow is a joke.

    The add-on battery is useless in a camping situation, rendering the heater useless. Battery, when heating lasts, at most, 3.5 hours, then there is no way to charge the add-on battery unless you've camped close to an electric plug, or you can wait until daylight to charge with solar power. Customer service is useless, they never acknowledge the actual battery life. If you will be using this during daytime only, the solar power will keep it running, but they also do not supply the cable required too connect to their solar panel. I found out afterwards and had to ask for a cable to be able to use the solar panel I bought. All-in-all, these folks are extremely difficult to do business with and do not back. up their product

      Hi I am very sorry about what you have been through with our products and customer service. The battery capacity of WAVE2 is 1159Wh(23Ah) which limits its running time during nights. You might consider expanding the capacity by having a solar generator to store the power and use it to charge your WAVE2 at nights. Again I am sorry about this and if you need any help from my side, please let me know.
