    I’d be happy with an outdoor air conditioner, lol 😂. It gets very hot here in the South.
    You could do like I did in Nicaragua, turn the AC on in the bedroom and once it’s cool turn it off and go to bed.
    Safe traveling!

      We had to use them all through our US roadtrip - we don't mind the white noise!

    That's a cool bit of kit! I am absolutely dreading when it gets really hot as I bought the kids a couple of air con units a couple of years ago, before the huge rise in energy prices. It's going to cost me a fortune this summer!

    • @DanniandJoe
      @DanniandJoe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah super handy when we get some heat when we’re back in July! That’s the worry is the cost to run general ones so hoping to power this through solar as much as possible!

    AC seems to be essential for comfortable narrowboat life in the summer

      @DanniandJoe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We love a bit of white noise! Must admit this one’s a lot quieter than the one we had a Joe’s parents - would much prefer the noise to 30c inside 😫😂

  • @keeef23

    Nice video, does eco flow tell you to put the intake outside? I would have thought the intake would be better inside pulling in the already cooled air and venting the warm air outside?

    • @DanniandJoe
      @DanniandJoe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that’s what I read on the instructions 😂😫 if we get any decent heat this year I’ll be bringing it out again!

    Would love to give this thing a whirl in our bus. Wonder if it would keep up? Can get toasty in the summer. Thanks for the vid. Will keep an eye out for a long term update too.

    Be fair to them, they're going to use it through the summer & report on how they get on with it as they use it. We don't pay to watch the videos so maybe just watch the ones without the free kit demos if you don't like them.

    • @DanniandJoe
      @DanniandJoe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly this Annie! We've tried to make this for people who are somewhat interested in either AC in general or portable AC / EcoFlow products and it's essentially a demo - we've kept our videos every week on Sundays and these go live when the product's launch. We'll never please everyone though 😂

    Thanks for your review. I am a truck driver. It seems that ecoflow designed it to be used as a companion to energy storage products. However, I don't have any EF power storage products on hand. It's a pain in the mouth to connect the battery while charging. It weighs close to 50 lbs, and it's a pain in the rear to move this big guy around every day. With all this in mind, I went with the mark2.

    A compressor hooked to a skin tank would probably be a lot more efficient to be honest.

    • @cottonfoo
      @cottonfoo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      More than likely, but these are designed with portability in mind. There's been a few times when I could have done with one when camping. Ideal for moving around a canal boat.

    • @DanniandJoe

      Yeah with portability in mind, if you had a motor home & a boat / wanted it In your conservatory for a day or something. Skin tanks a good idea to get cool air though.
