I would be very invested in a continuation of this game, the story is investing, the dialogue hilarious, and the gameplay interesting! Seems like a perfect continuation after XCOM 2
It's the very first episode of this series and i already love everything about it: the characters, the dialogue, the world-building, the premise and the lot. I'd really like this to be a full series because it looks amazing.
I saw another youtuber do a preview and it looked amazing! I'm not sure I'd watch a full series for the simple reason that I might want to play it myself at some point and don't want too many spoilers, but I'd definitely come back for a Pete Complete playthrough afterward!
I think this would make for a short interesting serie to be an in between of Xcom 2 and whatever come next. You have my vote up to continue this into a serie !
If you like this game you might like "Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG", its a adventure rpg style game with many choices and class paths focused on story and exploring the mysterious dungeon that is "the dome". The economy of earth is centered around extracting artifacts from under the dome.
I think the reason why you got a second move at 30:30 is because you appear to get unlimited movement while there are no enemies in the room, probably to avoid having to spend two turns to reach the laptop
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. If this was a full series, I would watch it ;). The combination of the writing (and Pete's delivery style) and the methodical and thought out clearing of levels I think would keep the series entertaining until the end. Maybe it won't be This war of mine levels of emotional attachment for me personally, but the characters are interesting and flawed enough to want to see how their stories plays out... which fits very well with the style of the channel. One mention for episode 2: Saying the locations might be a good addition? Something simple, like "Stonecliff evidence locker...where Jen 'knows a guy' ".
Really looking forward to this - the developer's previous games, Gunpoint and Heat Signature, were already enormously entertaining, and this promises to be that way as well. Looking forward to seeing more of this, and also to buying this for myself in a couple of days!

I normally don't play these kinds of games but I would LOVE to see Pete go through and get all of the challenges done! I also think the dry reading of the dialogue is actually fun even if it's not "in character"....it's very Pete style 😂

Hmm...I like this new game, but I really liked Capes, so much that I picked it up to play with my son! I think it would be really cool if youi completed that one, but both are pretty great! By the Way, you didn't mention if this was like a advanced reviewers copy or something or if you got comped for this or whatever. You might want to make sure that you do in the future, people sometimes get picky about that.
This video is just proof that Pete's voice is immaculate. I could listen to this all day. It's like hearing Cary Elwes (lovely actor with a lovely accent,) narrating a video game. Excellent skill and voice-over, Pete! :) --- Ah, Pete, just thought of something: this game is so heavily narrative driven, that you won't have many actors and you can't rename them to anyone from the naming tier patrons, which is a big incentive to become a patron. So this game is great in many ways, but you can't bring your patrons in on it. I'm sure most, if not all, of them don't mind for this one series, since you're so entertaining to begin with, but it's something to consider. If you come across a fun game with high character turnover and custom character naming: Darkest Dungeon 2.
The Tom Francis? The one who made my favorite real time tactical game, heat signature? Wow! I'll check this one out. BTW, everyone should check out the trailer for heat signature, it's my favorite trailer ever.
This has the looks of a neat little game, good writing, crisp gameplay and a strong theme - I might actually buy and play this before I watch any possible completion by you, which I'm sure you'd still make worth my time.
