I love that this was not manipulated too much and you both just allowed the art to do it's own thing. Beautiful!

I love the blending effect you were able to achieve in this beautiful painting. I have just bought my first resin kit and can't wait to start, but I have a couple of questions that I was hoping you could help me with first. The look that I'm hoping to achieve is also very soft, with colours blending in cloud like designs and also with marbling effects.I have soft body acrylics, but I wanted to know if it is better to use alcohol inks and/or acrylic inks to achieve a softer effect (I also love the effect of alcohol inks on yupo, can a similar effect be achieved using resin and alcohol inks on canvas?). Also, do you use denatured alcohol or any other additives to help with blending? Thank you so much for you advice, you are a wonderful source of information and inspiration!

Hi Michelle, If this is your first time pouring I would try acrylics first try laying a white layer first and pour colour onto it while the white is still wet. We don't use denatured alcohol as it breaks down the resin and can get dimples and lines in the resin. To help blend resin just place bottle in hot water for 15 mins before use.
