Over forty years ago when I was custom painting in Detroit. We had a large tub of water and we floated acrylic lacquer on the surface. We took out base primer tanks and fenders (or guards) and dipped them into the marble type solution. Then after 8-12 clear coats we masked off the design area and sprayed the rest of the surface with the color of our choice. Hours of work to get such a nice effect. Happy Australia Day!
WOW, this one is bad ass! All your stuff is great but this has to be one of the best we've seen from you guys. What kind of magic are you using to keep the resin fluid for so long. I always look forward to your next video, my favorite so far.
I really like your painting but I would like to ask you a question : when the video reaches 3'50, do you let the resin layer dry before applying the other colors ? THANKS !
Your work is all so beautiful. I just can't get enough. May I ask, do you add anything to your mixes to make the cells/bubbles/lacing? I'm always amazed at the texture that's created when you torch.
I am going to throw some questions at you guys, I know it's a bit much, but take a look , see if you'd like to answer. Is the Torch used just to remove bubbles? or are there other reasons to use the torch? EG: -Setting the resin faster? -Changes the pigment? etc I hear some pigments, like white and metallic colours start to lace.. Is this due to specific pigment properties, or is it a result of convection from such intense heat? Would a heat gun suffice instead of a torch? Great stuff you all are making! I'm asking these questions because I'm going to go and make some of these. Super cool
how does one know when to stop designing? Or do accidents result in ART? Ps...just LOVE all of your creations. thanks for giving me a new hobby in my retirement! My parents sat and watched TV 24/7 but not for me....thx again
Sometimes its easy to walk away, sometimes not so much! Experiments and playing around with no real aim can drive you to learn so many new things along the way. "Happy Accidents" can often occur. Pleased to hear you have a hobby to keep you busy! #HappyPouring :)
your work is amazing and i'm so grateful for you sharing your videos! i am making my way through them all! Your website says that you have about 40mins to work with the resin, so is this whole piece done in 40mins or is it more of a layered process where you wait to add another layer on top of the previous layer?
Hola Rocio, Si usted tiene una habitación bien ventilada entonces una máscara no es necesaria, pero por favor revise sus productos SDS como todas las resinas son diferentes.
SO pretty!!! love all the metallics!
This is so incredibly beautiful my heart actually started beating faster watching it as you worked.

It looks fantastic! I liked your limited use of colour. I tried it too (see video), but added some inks.
I like how you used Pipettes to spit out thin strings of color on the canvas ~
Beautiful
Wish I could get your products in the US. Awesome piece!
Precioso!!!

This is great work thanks for sharing. how do you get the resin running so much i like it give you more moment.
Kathy Ashkenazi Hi, We do not add anything to JR Art Resin this Resin has been formulated to pour like high flow paints.
I really like your painting but I would like to ask you a question : when the video reaches 3'50, do you let the resin layer dry before applying the other colors ? THANKS !
Hi love your work !! Where do you get the custom wood panels from please ?
Dope.
Your work is all so beautiful. I just can't get enough. May I ask, do you add anything to your mixes to make the cells/bubbles/lacing? I'm always amazed at the texture that's created when you torch.
Hi There, there has been no additives used in this piece. :)
Wow, incredible. Thank you for answering JR. :)
Bravo

Love it but I liked it better at first.

Wow! How combined resin did you mix for this? So many layers. Beautiful.
Loved that until you added all the blue/white on the top and went all Castor Pollux on it

Hi Lois, You are correct, we wait about 4 to 6 hours or overnight to repour a new layer. Some pieces have more than 5 layers.
I love watching you. Your work is beautiful. I wish JR were available in the US. Do you use alcohol to get cells
? I'm new at this.
hi ! what is the painting to resin ratio ? thanks
Hi marbemg, We only add drops of ink to tint resin and a little more for paint we try to stay under 10% pigment to resin.
The hardest part is deciding when to stop :)
Is this one layer? :)
Yes
Your table is not level
And they don't know when to stop.
I liked it until you drizzled color all over it...then it looked like a mess .... You look like you have fun tho....
Es necesario usar mascarilla? es tóxico para respirar?♥
Hola Rocio, Si usted tiene una habitación bien ventilada entonces una máscara no es necesaria, pero por favor revise sus productos SDS como todas las resinas son diferentes.
Wow that surface is not level
