Hello, do you thin your resin with acetone? Your art is awesome, I have been playing around with resin but it seems a lot thicker. Was concerned about using acetone with it been flammable and the burning off process. Would really appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks

Hi Russel sorry for the late reply, No we don't thinout our resin and would not thinout any resin with acetone without contacting the manufacturers. Just Resin is a low viscosity resin.

Hey what is the firs layer of white material on your mdf,and what you add to the resin what is acrylic? Did you add alcohol to the resin?

hi, we use artist grade gesso, you can add alcohol to some resins we would not advise it as it can mess up the curing process eg: hazing, dimples and it can make the resin move over time which will make the piece have an uneven finish.

We have used a mixture of JR Inks on this piece, as well as a powder.
JR Basic Ink - White & Magenta, JR Pigment Powder - Aluminium, JR Candy Ink - Red & Crimson, JR Professional Ink.

I just wanted to let you guys know that unfortunately someone on eBay is offering custom resin artworks and is using a picture of your artwork 'ruby' as a photo. I personally commission artworks on eBay aswell and i noticed someone else is trying too. If it concerns you, check it out.
