Aye man, stop trolling that poor Japanese man about Denzel Washington movies 🤣
HAAAAAA I just understood that joke 😂😂😂
The sonic 06 impression killed me

Hey
I like how he mentioned a Chao Garden, lol.
No one gives a 💩 about raising Chao anyway, that's just as stupid as being able to fish in a Sonic game. 🙄
This was probably recorded before we got confirmation of Big being in Frontiers.
"wheres that damn 4th chaos emerald!?" Izuka- I- what is the question???
Honestly I’m not too suprised he didn’t get that one. He directed and wrote Shadow the Hedgehog but the english localization really messed up the translation for alot of scenes
"Is Classic Sonic in Frontiers?"
"No."
And now I have hope for the game once again.
xDD
When your faith in the game relies on the feature of 2D lmfao I can't
@@isolated_illust Forces soured people that much. lol
@@isolated_illust I just don't wanna see Classic Sonic again in general.
I'm not seething at the idea of 2D sections in Frontiers (which has been confirmed) like some people are. I just want the game to be fun.
Damn santiago
i legit lold at this interview well done game informer
wants to ask 20 06 questions
Iizuka; nope, I'm done!
20 06....2006?!
IT WAS A PUN
XD CLEVERRR
I guess the man really don't want to talk about how did that game was failure..or not really comfortable talking about it
"What's sonic's favorite sport?"
"Run"
Honest.
clicking on this video, I had no idea it was going to be as good as it was.
Amazing stuff guys
“Did Amy ever find out about Princess Elise?”
She was there 😂
That's how you know the people constantly making fun of 06 never even played the game 💀
That Sonic 06 impersonation was on point.
This was the best interview of sonic frontiers 💀
@Labron Bullock Yes it was
@Labron Bullock It was 💀💀
Izuka's English is very good and seems like a chill guy. They way he bolted when 06 was mentioned XD
We will get many discussion videos from this, this interview made my day.
I LOVE these rapid fire interviews! Keep 'em coming! :)
This is honestly a fun video, more chill than the regular interviews. Great to see Iizuka having fun here.
"what's the best Sonic game"
"Adventure 2"
DAMN RIGHT!
The thing that I love about this is that they seem to be having lots of fun with the interview it makes it more awesome and entertaining
That was superb! Great interview. Iizuka-san is clearly taking a lot of English classes when he's not making Sonic games too!
Yknow, with what iizuka said about wanting all the characters in one game, they could design a game specifically for that. For example, it could have enemies from different games, and you could cyloop around an enemy to capture it and turn into that enemy's version of sonic. That way you could shoehorn basically any sonic from any game into it, and just slap a title like sonic dimensions onto it or something.
i remember in sonic forces only classic sonic made it in there, there was no mighty and no ray and no classic tails and no classic knuckles so it is not the entire cast.
Or they could just make a Heroes 2... Or a fighting game.
@@LoliconSamalik heck adventure 3 could use like 18 playable characters.
A hyrule warriors type game but with sonic would honestly be a perfect way to put a bunch of characters into one game.
That sonic cycle question killed me!🤣
I've been growing fond of Iizuka lately. I use to hate him and blame him for the state of the franchise, but I've realized he doesn't really have that much control over it, this interview confirmed it to me. I mean he found out about ugly sonic from the news
His whole thing was NiGHTS, even in 2022 that's STILL his baby, but somewhere along the way he like sort of "adopted" Sonic from his abusive alcoholic mother(Naka) and thus considers it his own, it's kinda cute
@@vegasvanga5442 Aw that's an adorable analogy. The Naka roast though xD To be fair the man kind of deserves it, he's done some low shit.
It took you that long uh
@@Banana807 i mean, sometime after Forces actually, but now more with this interview and what i know about what happened to him during Heroes development. Tbh i wouldn't want to be in his shoes
@@Chibiknux yeah i love Iizuka and i am happy that Taxman and Stealth defend him so much
It’s cool to see Iizuka laughing with some of the fans
"Will there be a Sonic Maker"
Ever heard of debug mode?
Just imagine the never-ending stream of troll levels.
@@phootaphan9166 true, so debug is the best option without giving us the full Sonic maker
These rapid-fire questions are great! Short, yet you still get the answers
I was not expecting one of the best Sonic interviews I've ever seen when I clicked on this video. The ending alone made me bust a gut with laughter.
This incredibly confident interviewer firing off like 30 questions a minute at notoriously bad interviewer Takashi Iizuka is unintentionally hilarious, I kinda feel bad for the guy
For people wondering what open zone is and don’t have faith in it, it’s basically a sonic game with the mechanics of knuckle levels in SA1 and SA2. Knuckles had open zone games which were basically “free roam”. So if it’s a platform game, it’s going to have speed boost style and adventure style game play in this new game
Interviewer: i got about 20 or so sonic 06 questions
Iizuka: nah ima clockout for this one
Best interview ever
The answer about the Boom designs was so surprisingly forthcoming, it made me laugh. Iizuka seems like a really nice guy, and I really enjoyed how many genuine laughs you got out of him. The one about worst Sonic game was great because you could tell he had thoughts.
I never heard Iizuka's English Voice and actually Sega is not making a Sonic Maker and it was confirmed official by the Head of Sonic Team and I like this Interview and I am hyped for Sonic Frontiers
I can't remember when an interview with a game dev was so ligh-hearted. Good job. Even the "mean" questions were delivered with such heart.
Love how he knows Chao Garden is the most requested feature, yet we haven’t seen anything close to it since Adventure 2
That’s just cause he doesn’t make all the decisions. I’m sure if he actually had his way we would of had one already
"I have about 20 or so Sonic 06 questions"
"Nope were out"
Love that!!!!
1. So the Super Emeralds are in another dimension….. that’s just great. We’ll probably never see Hyper Sonic ever again
2. No chao garden? Eh, it’s fine. As long as the main game is still golden
3. I like how Iizuka just walked out when he was getting ready to get asked 20 sonic 06-related questions, I laughed so hard. I love 06 but I wouldn’t mind getting less questions
4. So Iizuka is already preparing for the next title(the 35th anniversary title)…… interesting
Nah the Super Emeralds are just enchanced Chaos Emeralds by using the Master Emerald.
It doesn't have to be the 35th anniversary game, he said he knows what sonic game comes next, it coud be a spin off que knows or something like that too
@@bakedbeans5494 not canon. Was never suppose to be canon.
@@LoliconSamalik They literally appeared in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
He said there's no Chao Garden *in Sonic Frontiers.* He didn't rule out the possibility of a standalone Chao Garden game.
When he said "I have no money"... i felt that.
I love Genuine Iizuka's Responses are. He's a charming fella.
This interview showed me that he really doesn't that much control of the Sonic series and honestly I feel bad for him.
@Edward_Satanic Yeah it's clear that Iizuka still cares for the series or else he would've left many years ago. He most likely has to work under SEGA's poor working conditions as they have the most control over the franchise.
0:59 Iizuka-san answering that he has no idea how Sonic discovered chili dogs made me laugh.
Grass fields, mountains and waterfalls. A yes biomes
Dude, the difference between open-zone and open-world isn't even hard to understand.
Is like comparing Breath of the Wild to Super Mario Odyssey.
The debate is over. Iizuka officially said Sonic Adventure 2 is the best Sonic game. I can live in peace.
“I have no idea” Yea sounds about right.
funny questions lol, looks like Iizuka was having a bunch of fun answering them, even if some were a bit cringe haha
This interviewer was smart and slick. Ask buncha rapid goofy questions to break down a normally reserved person then asked the good stuff at radom...really.....REALLY? LOL also that cooc line 😆
