I loved how honest Ryan was about the hardships of the industry. Most VAs will answer "keep trying, work hard, follow your dreams and you just might make it" but she was brutally honest about how hard it was, and that is honestly refreshing.

i get why people would find the frontiers performances off-putting but personally I found it so refreshing to see these characters actually come off as grounded and human. I was floored when Amy had this empathetic, ponderous tone to her dialog and didn't have any OH SONIC MY LOVE MARRY ME lines. She felt like an actual character for the first time. It made it feel like Sonic and Amy have matured a lot and are at the point in their relationship whether as friends or otherwise where they can just vibe and appreciate each other's company. I'm still pretty early into the game but I've been having an absolute blast with frontiers and I hope we get to see more Sonic content in the future that isn't afraid to adopt a more serious tone.
The lack of social awareness in how some of these questions are asked is... Interesting. The Sonic cast did a fantastic job at dealing with it and making the best out of each question

I really liked the tone of Frontiers, Sonic games taking their over-the-top stories seriously again while still being fun. Reminds me of SA1 and SA2 again which is where I started with Sonic, so it feels like the characters are being themselves again. I want more of it, I hope they keep it going.
Great to see that Mike Pollock has still got it the as the voice as the evil Dr Eggman and even though Jason Griffiths is and always will be my favorite voice actor of Sonic I love Roger Craig Smith just as much and he has done a fantastic job voicing the character for the current generation of fans thanks for sharing this 👍❤️
It's really sad how ungrateful these "fans" are. I just wish I could meet Roger Craig Smith to tell him how good of a voice actor he is and that he truly has the absolute best voice I have ever heard. They just beat and rip open the game and make a opinion either no one will like or everyone will like without second regards to how the team that made that game will feel or use constructively. I'm gonna be honest, as someone who ADORED Jason Griffifth as Sonic, I really didn't like Roger at first, but Frontiers made me realise just how talented he can be, and how a negative reception on a game can also influence my views on something. Roger's Frontiers voice is fantastic and nuanced, right back to what I think of with Sonic - and the deeper voice makes sense; Sonic's gotta grow up someday.
I love the way of sonic's character in frontiers is so much icon, very unique, obnoxious and incredible experience terms of his heroic actions, It's not perfect but it's quite different from the past decade along with SA2 and black knight

I really liked the tone of Frontiers, Sonic games taking their over-the-top stories seriously again while still being fun. Reminds me of SA1 and SA2 again which is where I started with Sonic, so it feels like the characters are being themselves again. I want more of it, I hope they keep it going.
I hope these actors come to Houston someday. Especially Roger

Great to see that Mike Pollock has still got it the as the voice as the evil Dr Eggman and even though Jason Griffiths is and always will be my favorite voice actor of Sonic I love Roger Craig Smith just as much and he has done a fantastic job voicing the character for the current generation of fans thanks for sharing this 👍❤️
It's really sad how ungrateful these "fans" are. I just wish I could meet Roger Craig Smith to tell him how good of a voice actor he is and that he truly has the absolute best voice I have ever heard. Not just in Sonic the hedgehog, but quite literally every other character he has ever voiced, even his "Say yes to the dress" narrator sounds really good and full of character somehow. This man has made my day and inspired me eversince I was a child and I can't even tell him or ever see him because of where I am, and then you have ungrateful rude manchildren like the first guy and some of these comments straight up insulting him for doing his job. Just sad, these so called "fans" did the same thing to all the other voice actors, I'm glad he at least strikes back. You go Roger, you're amazing! These people just don't deserve your incredible performance.

I don't do that, I grew up with Jason and I like him, I'm indifferent to Ryan cause I didn't grow up with those games, he was good for those games.

Sometimes I see people harshly criticize games may it be constructive or destructive and then I see the VA's and all opinions I had of the game quickly discard themselves. Alot of people take for granted the construct of a game rather than the game itself, the building of the game is truly the most important and beautiful thing to see, the VA's, programmers, cut content, cut characters, or even music, frontiers does have a touchy feel amongst the sonic community- but none of them seem grateful or even regard they got a game at all. They just beat and rip open the game and make a opinion either no one will like or everyone will like without second regards to how the team that made that game will feel or use constructively.
I implore you to examine your favorite game's and/or show's VA or VA's and see the difference in respect you have for that franchise and team behind the cinema or game
the eggman memos are genuinely one of mike's best performances yet! i would listen to em over and over just because of how real his voice felt to me.

I'm gonna be honest, as someone who ADORED Jason Griffifth as Sonic, I really didn't like Roger at first, but Frontiers made me realise just how talented he can be, and how a negative reception on a game can also influence my views on something. Roger's Frontiers voice is fantastic and nuanced, right back to what I think of with Sonic - and the deeper voice makes sense; Sonic's gotta grow up someday.

I love the way of sonic's character in frontiers is so much icon, very unique, obnoxious and incredible experience terms of his heroic actions, It's not perfect but it's quite different from the past decade along with SA2 and black knight
