Hi mansi... I was also an exclusively pumping mamma and now my baby is 7 months old almost 8 months in 10 days and still getting breastmilk through pumped milk. I was an undersupplier and went over supplier producing 50 - 60 oz a day which i learned increasing supply from exclusively pumping mammas groups from fb. Some tips i think you must know to increase supply which i believe you are not mentioning. 1. First 3 months need to pump every 2 hr. Till 12 weeks your supply is already build up. 2. You can start dropping your pump session after 12 weeks like if you were pumping 7 times a day you can drop to 6 times a day and 5 times at 6 months and then 4 times at 8 months and then so on. 3. You need to power pump once a day to increase your supply. 4. Eat chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, jowar ka atta, moringa powder ( drumsticks leaves) as it will help you tremendously in increasing your supply. 5. The next pumping schedule should not be the start from your early finished session. Like your first session was 3 a.m. then your next session should be 6 a.m. . I followed all these rules and instead of feeding my baby i have 25 - 30 oz left a day which i stored in my deep freezer. I have stored almost 5000 oz in my deep freezer and i weened pumping at 6.5 months. My baby still get BM through my frozen stash till her 1 year of age. This knowledge is compulsory for those mamma who didn't know about exclusively pumping is a thing and we can still feed our babies without latching.
Hello is it necessary to pump evry 2 or 3 hour gap at night also? I have just strted my pumping schedule along with breastfeed..its become so confusing and hectic for me..pls help
It's better you first nurse and then pumping.. if your baby is nursing then keep doing it and pumping is for increasing supply if your supply is low. Yes it is compulsory to pump 2 to 3 hrs gap even at night and early morning as in night and morning your prolactin level is high that time you'll get more milk. You need to do this till 12 weeks and after that you can drop 1 pump and increase your pumping hours..
With such a hectic schedule and taking care of 2 kids, how do u manage time in order to enable urself to make so many videos? (This comes in my mind every time I watch ur video or talk about u with anyone) Really appreciate ur efforts and capability. Hats off
My baby never latched, I used the electric pump but it was too hectic to wash and sterilize pump parts again and again, then I started hand expression...baby is now 1 year and I am still continuing though now frequency is decreased,only 3 times a day 😀
@@Sonvish7 I guess it's safe because I am still expressing once a day and I and baby both are fine, I will stop once she turns 2 years and that is next month....I wash my hands, dry it and express in a sterilized bottle and feed her directly, I mean I never store breast milk in refrigerator etc... process is safe but kinda hectic....you can express feed atleast till baby is 6 months than can look for alternatives if you want.
Hi, does exclusive breast pumping reduce milk supply? I had a good breast milk supply for 2.5 months, after which it decreased drastically. Now it's very very less. My daughter does not latch anymore but I still want to keep giving her breastmilk (whatever is happening). I'm scared if I only breast pump, would the supply decrease further? How was your experience?
@@anshumittal9467 In my case milk supply did not decrease till around 14 months( I got around 180 ml 4-5 times a day) ...then once I had severe cold after that it drastically decreased I don't know the exact reason....but still I express once a day and get about 140 ml the least and 220 ml the most...

@@sumanchoudhary134 philips avent is not wearable so have to stay near plug point throughout the pumping session while wearable pumps u can wear and do other works i have both bump2cradle and avent. If cost is not a problem with two Bump2cradle pumps is best.

That is absolutely true but sometimes babies has latching issue which they were not able to feed directly. In this way this technology is more better just not increasing supply but also to provide nutrition to the baby who is not able to latch. So we need to appreciate this technology.
Every baby doesn’t latch directly so mothers pump and some mothers are working moms so they have no other option.. either they feed formula or they pump BM
usually during a growth spurt, the baby starts cluster feeding due to increased demand for more food. Cluster feeding is them drinking BM atleast every hour or even more frequently.

Ladies...breast feeding is a gift from nature...never give up on that..pls visit a lactation consultant and 99 % ur problem will be a minor one and u can start ur breast feeding..these pump brands want to establish their business and doing promotions like this...this is a promoted video ...and pls don't fall for these...this luvlap don't even have options for flange sizes...a wrong flange size can damage the breast tissues...pls understand this and be wise

You are lucky if your baby is latching and sucking your nipples, but some doesnt because of emergency c section your baby is taken away and you are not provided skin to skin and some babies are born with some issues for which they are taken away in nurseries and because of that they are being feed by the bottles and than after that those baby do not want to get fed by their mum's boobs because thats too hard for them instead of bottles, or agar apko lgta hai ki pumping easy hai toh let me tell you breastfeeding se jada easy kuch nai hai every mother wants to go easy lekin koi option nahi bchta, pumping mei 56 tantrums hote hain , or agar nahi pata toh pata kar lia kro comment dene se phle

Yes Mansi.. The concept of breast pump is really very much helpful, specially for those babies who do not latch properly and sleep in the middle, again wake up and latch.. In that case it requires long time and specially at night in winter season it is really very much painful for the cesarian moms. I also use manual pump of Luvlap, it is really good. 🙂
My baby is 4.5 months old. Upto 3 months she has was on exclusive breastfeeding. But after that i got admitted due to my health issues for 1 month. And that time she was taking formula. But now she refused to latch. I m still having breastmilk. But when i m pumping it is coming 30 ml or 50 ml sometimes. I want to replace formula milk. I had a word with lactation consultant. Hi mansi... I was also an exclusively pumping mamma and now my baby is 7 months old almost 8 months in 10 days and still getting breastmilk through pumped milk. I was an undersupplier and went over supplier producing 50 - 60 oz a day which i learned increasing supply from exclusively pumping mammas groups from fb. Some tips i think you must know to increase supply which i believe you are not mentioning.
1. First 3 months need to pump every 2 hr. Till 12 weeks your supply is already build up.
2. You can start dropping your pump session after 12 weeks like if you were pumping 7 times a day you can drop to 6 times a day and 5 times at 6 months and then 4 times at 8 months and then so on.
3. You need to power pump once a day to increase your supply.
4. Eat chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, jowar ka atta, moringa powder ( drumsticks leaves) as it will help you tremendously in increasing your supply.
5. The next pumping schedule should not be the start from your early finished session. Like your first session was 3 a.m. then your next session should be 6 a.m. .
I followed all these rules and instead of feeding my baby i have 25 - 30 oz left a day which i stored in my deep freezer. I have stored almost 5000 oz in my deep freezer and i weened pumping at 6.5 months. My baby still get BM through my frozen stash till her 1 year of age. This knowledge is compulsory for those mamma who didn't know about exclusively pumping is a thing and we can still feed our babies without latching.

It's better you first nurse and then pumping.. if your baby is nursing then keep doing it and pumping is for increasing supply if your supply is low. Yes it is compulsory to pump 2 to 3 hrs gap even at night and early morning as in night and morning your prolactin level is high that time you'll get more milk. You need to do this till 12 weeks and after that you can drop 1 pump and increase your pumping hours..

My baby never latched, I used the electric pump but it was too hectic to wash and sterilize pump parts again and again, then I started hand expression...baby is now 1 year and I am still continuing though now frequency is decreased,only 3 times a day 😀

@@Sonvish7 I guess it's safe because I am still expressing once a day and I and baby both are fine, I will stop once she turns 2 years and that is next month....I wash my hands, dry it and express in a sterilized bottle and feed her directly, I mean I never store breast milk in refrigerator etc... process is safe but kinda hectic....you can express feed atleast till baby is 6 months than can look for alternatives if you want.
Hi, does exclusive breast pumping reduce milk supply?
I had a good breast milk supply for 2.5 months, after which it decreased drastically. Now it's very very less. My daughter does not latch anymore but I still want to keep giving her breastmilk (whatever is happening). I'm scared if I only breast pump, would the supply decrease further?

@@anshumittal9467 In my case milk supply did not decrease till around 14 months( I got around 180 ml 4-5 times a day) ...then once I had severe cold after that it drastically decreased I don't know the exact reason....but still I express once a day and get about 140 ml the least and 220 ml the most...

Philips avent electric pump with flange size of upto 30 mm is very good. I have been using it. Comparatively costlier but good. I bought it for 7k.

That is absolutely true but sometimes babies has latching issue which they were not able to feed directly. In this way this technology is more better just not increasing supply but also to provide nutrition to the baby who is not able to latch. So we need to appreciate this technology.

Yes Mansi.. The concept of breast pump is really very much helpful, specially for those babies who do not latch properly and sleep in the middle, again wake up and latch.. In that case it requires long time and specially at night in winter season it is really very much painful for the cesarian moms. I also use manual pump of Luvlap, it is really good. 🙂

My baby is 4.5 months old. Upto 3 months she has was on exclusive breastfeeding. But after that i got admitted due to my health issues for 1 month. And that time she was taking formula. But now she refused to latch. I m still having breastmilk. But when i m pumping it is coming 30 ml or 50 ml sometimes. I want to replace formula milk. I had a word with lactation consultant. She was telling to pump my milk 8 times. But using pump it is very less. Please suggest me what should i do.

How long I should pump on each breast. I usually pump 20 mins on each breast but still the milk which I produce is not sufficient for my baby, i pump 8 times in a day for every 3hpurs once.

@@shantib9423 change the bottle nipple according to there months.. For eg 0 to 3 3 to 6 months.. Thats why they are taking lots of time for sucking because of nipple problem
