So let me get this straight, the installation is as easy as doing what you did just then, but in regards to the little red wires I would, (camera end) connect both red wires together. Feed wires to head unit (canbus included within head unit) connect red wire to 12v- on head unit. Canbus should automatically active camera on selecting reverse?
Wouldn't advise messing with the loom that runs into car as they are very tempremental as prone to breaks in wires at crease of boot closing and if disturbed you may find things not workimg,such as lights and electronics of boot but otherwise decent tutorial 👍👍👍
Does your camera goes on when you reverse? Did you use a relay? Why didn't you connect it to the rear fuse box ? I am asking this as I have a zafira B 2011 and did exactly the same as you with my rear camera (exactly the same camera you got) but it only works a few minutes and then it switch off completely taking my reverse light with it! I have checked with an auto electrician and he didn't know the reason or how to fix it.
You should not wire directly to your rear light. Your car thinks that voltage is low and cutting it. You should visit your local electrician. Or if you have Op-Com you can switch it back on.

so where did you wire it to as I have wired mine to reverse light and works fine with engine off but soon as you turn engine on it will flickers they say because of the canbus, please help
Why on earth would you need to fit a camera to a car that has enough windows and mirrors that you can just look out of. In a van I would agree as you have limited view. If that was the case why not go ahead and fit one to the front bumper as the owner of the car clearly cannot drive without its assistance. Some people ehh!!!
Hi, you can do install the cable without cutting the rubber with a Fish tape and silicone spray.

Barbaric method. Drilling hole, cutting rubber. The last thing is to drill a holes in your car and cutting rubber isolation
Yep. It would take him like 2 minutes to pop out that rubber and pul the cables throuh it.

You need a relay 4 pole >1A, +12 from rear fuse box. Reverse wire will switch permanent +12
???? You didn't show the part where you came in the fuse box, fused it and grounded it to earth.....or did you???
