- Ever had a bad haircut that takes you months to recover from? I HAVE! Here's how I dealt with mine. Miss you guys, and now that my hair is finally back to behaving again I hope to be putting out more content.

I can feel you pain. I am very depressed because of a horrible haircut.

I cut my own hair and its sooo awful, the front bangs look good but i cut the sides way too short when trying to layer it. Now its like some weird ugly mullet and i cant fix it until it grows out a bit, and im TERRIFIED itll take a long time to grow out (though rationally even in a week there will be a significant difference). I feel so unfeminine and ugly and im scared, but this video really helped. Especially the last thing you said “in the grand scheme of things, this is very small” or something along those lines. I just need to continue to ground myself and realize itll be alright, esp with the power of clip in extensions!!!!!!
This really helped me, thank you ❤️ I just came out of lockdown and was excited to have a nice shaping-cut while still growing my hair… lots of progress was lost and I wasn’t clear enough with what I wanted. But you helped a lot here, I’ll find a way forward !

I totally feel ya, man! The same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. Thankfully my hair grows fast, but it was still a huge shock to lose so much length (I actually deleted all my videos in a bought of passion 😂). I totally understand how you feel.
my hair was already long and curly and I LOVED it and I just wanted to give it a bit of maintenance cause it was becoming too much and they thinned it out and made lots of small layers at the top (even tho I told them in a million ways not to cut it short) and now im stuck with an 80s look and "curls" that don't curl as before 😓😓😓😓 it's been 3 months and I still wanna cry when I look at myself in the mirror, nobody hits on me now which was constant almost everyday before and that's how I kinda know the haircut was and is bad bad
Sending you a hug love. I feel you. You are worthy and lovable just the way you are. It will get better in time. Just practice loving yourself more. That's what I'm dedicated to doing after my bad cut. What else can I do?

a month+ later and I either cry or hate looking at myself in mirror and it’s going to take months to even get back to what my look was before and can’t even look in the mirror without wanting to punch myself but I’m supposed to be okay because it was an “accident”

I had hair to my breast, and it got hacked to its to my collar bone, and the layers look like a jelly fish. It truly sucks
How does "take 1 inch off" turn into taking off 4? Seems like I have to keep my glasses on and say "no! stop!" The only thing I've learned is that every single stylist wants me to wear a helmet. 2 years trying to find somebody I can trust.

My hair was cut way to short and now my forehead is showing and it is big I normally wear my hair longer and down it’s wavy and curly

I had long hair and I thought of getting a haircut I showed the hairdresser the haircut I wanted and how short I wanted it but she cut it way too short and now I’m sad 😕😭

A lady of 20 years plus experience jacked my ass up. I go to get it fixed now I look like Dora during the day and Chucky in the morning. I didn’t cry I’ll wait for it to grow.

okay, so I just got a boy cut today actually, and it's too short 😭😭 I looked much better with my homemade mullet- you could be sad because you don't like change, and it was uncomfortable changing your hairstyle, or you just prefer your face with longer hair. it's okay either way, you're still valid. you don't have to have short hair to be a boy.
